  3. Strange that the leaf have a game and there is no story on the laff network. I guess the moderators just can't stomach the comments any more...esp with the G&M reporting Shitahan has permission to rebuild and they don't want phat phil nor thy pylon to be part of it......poor babies.

  4. Woot! Happy THursday, buckling down for another weekend of snowstorms. Happy Hockey Day in Canada Day from Halifax. I'll not be going anywhere near that shitshow. I see our Mayor has declared tomorrow Jersey Day so I get to wear my first ever Habs sweater to work. I've oddly never owned one, and I refuse to pay $150-$200 for one, so I found a knock off jersey of sorts at Winners for $30. I'm not sure if it's meant to be a practice jersey - it has the official reebok tag that changes from NHL to LNH when you tilt it. Anyway it has the glorious CH and I'll be wearing it proudly to work tomorrow!

If they lose to the fucking oil again, I'll be pissed. It's fine that you can beat the best teams, but ya gotta start winning against the bottom dwellers too - the oil and the leaf up next. Should be 4 easy points. 'Should'...

    So GYMFHG!!!

I watched Laffs Lunch today, kinda funny, I actually get a kick out of Jeff O'Neill, he actually has a clue. McLennan was absent so that made it better. I enjoyed listening to Pierre Lebrun, who made the point that leafools are envious of the Habs (and their (us) fans) who actually have a plan and are having success. O'Neill agreed. They also had Ray Ferraro who gave an honest evaluation of what the leaf are going to go through with this scorched earth re-build. It will be interesting to see how the mediots put the positive spin on this mess. Rogers ratings are going to tank like the leaf.

  6. The best thing that can, legitimately, happen is the Habs winning the Stanley Cup, really soon. This will make the shit that mediots eat taste even shittier. The funnier thing is that the shit they will be eating is their own shit.

  9. So are we Bugs or Elmer? I feel like the Habs are Elmer Fudd and all these weak teams are Bugs Bunny making a mockery of the team. But I have faith tonight! GO HABS GO!

  10. Going on vacation starting tomorrow. Going down to Brazil for a couple of weeks (yay!). Every night this week I've gone to visit a friend to borrow or get something (shoes, a camera, etc) and every night I say "Just stopping by, gotta run!" And every single fucking night they say, "Let's grab a bite and a beer. Come on, my treat!" And every single night I come home after midnight. It's really catching up to me this morning.

But it's 6th grade graduation day so hopefully we can go home at lunch. A nap sounds delightful. But then I've got to go to another friend's house to pick something up. I swear to god, I'll just stop by, can't stay, gotta run!

  37. It would be FHFun to see PatCHes (sip) break darryl sittler's 10 point 'record' on Saturday night. Now, it may be funner (is that a word?) to see crotch (that CH doesn't count, ever) spend his buffered 5 minutes crying about how he may be dead before 'the rebuild' is complete. I may have to stock up on Amaretto.

    1. They buried leaf's pre-game, maybe they put it up cause their leaf have a couple goals.

      Delete
    2. Well, you see, they've gotten their directive that they need to convince the leafool fan base that a rebuild is necessary. So no more hyperbolic praise (well, not as much anyway). After years of telling leaf fans that the leaf was really good, just one little piece away from winning the Cup, they need to change gears quickly.

  67. In a stretch where they had 6/7 games against non-playoff teams (including the 3 worst teams in the league) with all those 6 at home, they are currently 3-2-1.

    1. They better take the next bottom feeder Saturday.

  68. By the way, that was EDM's first OT win of the season. They were 0-6 before this. Because of course they were.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Gotta say, Toker isn't close to how he was in the playoffs last year.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Bishop did not finish the game, I think that's 5 times now. So much for everybody saying the Habs wouldn't have swept them even though he's never had any playoff games.

    ReplyDelete
  71. MT is really pissed, said nothing about the game was good, they played a really bad game and were lucky to get 1 pt.
Asked about gCHyuk being used carefully before trying him at centre but he gave DLR much more responsible right away. he said they're 2 different players, you can't compare them.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yep, Toker was tripped by Gilbert on the gwg.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah, but he made very little effort to get back into position. He was swimming in that crease the whole night anyway. But he made some big stops, too. He's a back up goalie, just not as brilliant as he was in the playoffs last year is all.

  73. the Maritimer7:06 AM

Good morning everyone! I believe in the case of losing to all these bottom feeder teams, it is a pure unadulterated case of over-confidence by MT's charges. A complete lack of respect for their opponent. They better have some respect for their opponent this Saturday night or they are going to be embarrassed on national TV. They need to play like it's Boston or Philly... a complete Chokula lockdown. Nothing else is acceptable.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Chester7:43 AM

Twenty seconds being short a player and nobody notices.
    Yah that's being sharp.
    Go Habs

    ReplyDelete
  75. I watched the NHL Highlights and I have to agree with O man, Toker was doing the backstroke on two of the goals.
The NHL has to do something about tank commandors. There are now 8 teams trying hard to lose.
    Congrats to Stumpy Jr.
Ass long as we make the playoffs I could care less about the rest of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Man o man...another loss to a bottom feeder...!!! What goes on in these guys heads sometimes? Why am I really nervous about tomorrow night?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. the Maritimer12:01 PM

You have every right to be nervous, if the Habs play down to the leaf level it will be a shitshow. You just know the leaf are going to try their damnedest to beat Montreal on a Saturday night. Fucking eMTy better have his guys ready to play. No more of this "oh, it's only the so-and-so's they got nothin', piece of cake."

SuperPleXXXe deserved a swift kick in the nuts for not scoring in that empty net. All he had to do was take about two more strides in or pass off to an open Prust and it was all over. I knew they were going to get scored on after that bonehead play. And Toker was swimming a lot last night.
