  1. I am looking forward to seeing BlanCHe tonight. There is a little part of me that wants to see him score a goal, then skate past the Habs bench and flip off Therrien - with a kind of..."I could have been doing that for this team but you couldn't get your head out of your ass long enough to see it you fuck!"...just for effect! (but only after the game is out of reach for the Habs I mean)

    1. Hope the Bell Centre fans give him a heartfelt welcome.

    2. Pretty sure they will - fans loved him - it was the coach who had no use for him...

    3. Always liked BlanCHe, hope he doesn't break anyone's nose.

It's odd to have somebody on the pliers that we like.
    Doesn't feel right

    1. what a beautiful story in the Horatio Alger tradition. Age 26 he puts some things together. I predict one of DGMB bad moves was only giving him a 2 year contract. A 22 man team of Chip will win the cup every day you play the simulation and I expect in real life double.

    3. “I went into the dressing room, Tortorella was just standing there alone. He says, ‘There’s a trade in the works, I can’t tell you where to yet, there could be a few teams bidding right now. Get undressed.’

“Then he just walked out of the room. Didn’t say goodbye, didn’t say good luck, nothing. That was it.”

      Torts the Asshole. Nice.

    4. “(Bergevin) told me, ‘You know what, when I was (assistant general manger) in Chicago, we tried to get you,’” Weise said. “That’s huge, from going in Vancouver, where you’re at the bottom of the barrel, to being told you are wanted. It was validating.”

      DGMB Class!

Must be unpleasant playing for that Torts asshole.
    Really
I appreciate passion but he is just a classless bucket mouth.
    Good for DGMB.
I wonder what's up his sleeve in the next couple of weeks.
He isn't the last minute man.
    He likes his deals early.
    Go Habs

  6. I have watched both episodes of Saul. So far so good, but how far can the crooked lawyer story go, its not breaking bad. If this is just a big long breaking bad backstory meh!

  7. Will Fat Steve's reign of terror and studpidity never end? I did not realized Rob Nicholson was unilingual. I am not going to die on a hill that says everyone must speak French or they are not real Canada. However , Foriegn Affairs is place you must speak French. Justice next and Defence third. Finance not so much.

  14. Very sad to see Tessa Bonhomme lower herself to crater to leaf. Truly disheartening and a complete lack of professionalism. Oh wait, she's in a class of sick fucks.

  15. Looking forward to the latest gorgeous Montreal anthem singer.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Almost 20 years of Jon Stewart coming to an end. His rip on the broons embellishments was killer.

  17. Montreal has apparently a glut of young attractive talented anthem singers. jebus. well done new anonymous anthem singer!

  20. It's hard to believe this is the same group of guys who played in Boston the other night. This is why I cringe after every game when MT says the guys had 'compete level'. No, we see what they're capable of in some games, and in parts of other games. Then in periods like this it's obvious the compete level is not there. Because if it was, they would be the same team that played the last game.

    ReplyDelete
  21. well that was... a period of hockey

    ReplyDelete
  22. A less than exciting first period.

  23. Forget the ol' Habs - Nords rivalry, NHL HQ thinks there could one day be a LA or Yotes vs. Las Vegas rivalry.

My suggestion for the Vegas team name; The Fear & Loathing.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I am never forgiving TFS for that first goal.

  25. Imagine they could hit the net once in a while?

    ReplyDelete
  26. So...is the line on Emery to take shots from horrible angles?

  27. Just found out that Jon Stewart is leaving the Daily Show. Sigh. I'm getting old.

  28. Well that was.....better.

  29. Watching the broon game now. God they're dirty, and the refs do nothing. Offside call, Marchit goes over to hit the guy about 10 seconds after the whistle. Then when the Star guy starts chirping him the shaved ape comes over to hit him. Then every broon is there behind the net shoving him. For nothing. Ref is standing right there telling the Star player, who is not responding now and just yelling at the ref, to get lost.

Yet the broons have had a major PP and a double minor PP (in a show of karma, Stars got SHGs both times).

  30. pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass giveaway.

  31. HIT THE FUCKING NET

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well, the broons lost. But the leaf tied it up.

    ReplyDelete
  33. PleXXXe!!!!! Finally!

    ReplyDelete
  34. They had a chance to win it. Instead they decided to put on a passing clinic. Badly. SHOOT THE FUCKING PUCK.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Bell Centre fans are one of the few fan bases that doesn't yell SHOOOOOOOT!

      Delete
    2. Actually I don't like it when fans always do that (once in a while is fine). But ffs, you have to shoot it sometimes. I mean, they do here and there and sometimes it works. Just do it!

      Delete
  35. I tutor slower kids in the afternoons, because despite how I present myself here I can be a nice person sometimes. Anyway, I have this 2nd grade kid who refuses to speak (English or Korean). He also refuses to write. He might have a learning disability (Koreans don't like to check these things) but it's not severe if he does. He just refuses to communicate in class. There is nothing I can do to make him speak or write. I've accepted that there's nothing I can do about it. I just treat him with kindness and hope one day he'll mature enough to at least try.

That's how I feel about the Habs and shooting. They just won't shoot on the PP. There's nothing we can do about it. We can only keep loving them and hope one day they mature enough to at least try.

  36. DDD!!!!!

Of course it was an attempted pass that deflected in. BUT WE'LL TAKE IT!!!!

  37. Another leaf loss for the icing.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Bolts tie it up with the Preds, though.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hah! Loser point! Moral victory! Take that Habbies! Ok it's hard to troll when your team is awful. Anyway enjoy the playoffs. We won't be joining you. If you guys make Rags/Broons/Bolts fans miserable it will cheer up my dark heart. Wow, I forgot to add Penguins. Too much whiskey. I'll shut up now.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Nice! Preds take it in OT!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Good to see DDD playing a little better lately

  42. I just read the Gazette Wiese piece. It's refreshing to see there is still some actual professional journalism occurring online, unlike the daily leaf shitshow tripe drivel crap that inundates us torturously and unendingly. You get my drift.

I gotta admit - i was thinking this team ain't going far with CHip on your first line. Now I'm not so sure. The guy has skills and speed. I don't mind eating my words about him or DDD at all!

What a great night! Habs win and wretched leaf/broons lose.

  43. the Maritimer9:23 AM

Morning folks, the ol' Maritimer had his second procedure done yesterday, I'll spare you the details, but I was too doped up last night to comment although I did watch the game. I got the big thumbs up from the doctor, all clear, I'll be sticking around a while yet.

On last night's game... the Habs remind me of a thoroughbred race horse, the one that hangs in the pack for the first three quarters of a mile then turns it on and runs away down the stretch. I'll give the Phucktards credit they hung around for a long time and played the Habs tough but superior talent won it, just like that thoroughbred.

Hey, I wonder if Glenn Healy still has that kesseltracker? He used to use it to track phat Phil's skating speed and shot, I wonder if he is using it to track his +/- these days, -4 last night, or ice time, less than 13 minutes and ended up on the 4th line. Yeah, baby!

Rumour has it AC/DC are coming to Moncton this summer, I'm Back in Black!!!
