They have, in effect a time out. Why the fuck is no one saying something like "get your heads out of your asses and win this fucking game you cocks. You've been asleep for 35 minutes of this game. Wake up and sort it the fuck out!
16 shots against the 3rd worse team in the league with a goalie starting his first game. I don't care if it was a 7AM game, this is not good enough. 5 minutes left, now wake the fuck up and tie this fucking game.
Sorry juce, can't blame the refs. This is on Toker and the rest of the team. It always boggles me how a team can play like shit for 40 minutes and then go all out with 100% pressure for the last 2 minutes. Why can't you play like that for at least the majority of the game...ah well, back with TFS next week.
5 fucking shots in the second and third period. You can't blame the refs for this loss. If you don't shoot you won't score. Fucking bullsit game and no excuses...not the refs fault her. No shots means no goals
I'll agree you're both right, just frustrated when they don't call the penalties that they should, esp the one where Erat cross-checked gCHyuk in the back as his back was to him and both his feet were on the bench and off the ice with the gate open. There were a few others too. And the no-icing call? But yes, they didn't give it a solid effort either.
I'm going to be sick. They did a piece on the Gronkowski family and I think they showed a picture of Gronk with a leaf jersey on. Hard to say though...5 boys and they all look alike.
Just watched the shitshow. This is why this team drives me crazy. They can take on the best in the league and then fall asleep against the 3rd worst team when they played the night before. They scored 2 early and then coasted the rest of the way. Three fluke goals (was there ANY doubt that the high stick one was going to count?) and that's all she wrote. And don't forget the:
You do have to feel bad for Toker. But at the same time, he's been less than stellar this year. Still, you get, what, 15 shots against a goalie playing his first game on the 3rd worst team, 2nd worst defence, who played the night before? They didn't deserve to win.
PP looked good if the goal was to play keep away. They refuse to shoot it. Someone is telling them not to shoot it. Every so often they seem to 'forget' and put it on net, and they score. But then the next game you can tell they're all afraid to shoot again. Especially PK. Since he scored the OT winner a while back he goes in to shoot, but always holds back. You can see that someone is telling him not to shoot. My guess is that the coaching staff can't figure out O-zone entries so they're afraid to have them shoot it because it might give up possession. Better to just pass it around for 2 minutes and look like something's getting done.
Went to a Super Bowl party yesterday afternoon with my oldest son and his friends at a local sports bar. WatCHed both games and made the mistake of trying to drink with a bunch of 30 year olds. Oh my aching head....
That said, I still cannot believe Seattle threw that ball when you have a guy named BEASTMODE in your backfield...
Thing about sports - whether my teams win or lose (Pats and Habs basically), it really has no bearing on my life, and here I am back to the grind like nothing happened. When I really think about it, it's kind of weird the emotional drain of cheering for a team when I really have nothing on the line. And that's why I don't think too much.
Apparently the Seattle coach gamed the play from every angle. He even asked a well respected hockey coach if he thought something so unexpected would work.
The Canadiens called up Jacob De La Rose from the Hamilton Bulldogs on Monday afternoon. The 19-year-old forward should join the team at practice in Brossard on Tuesday.
The Canadiens' 34th overall pick from the 2013 NHL Entry Draft has registered 11 points (6G-5A-11PTS) in 37 games with the Bulldogs this season. The Arvika, SE native also picked up four points in seven games while captaining Team Sweden at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Head coach Michel Therrien has not confirmed whether De La Rose will suit up opposite the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday.
Yep, when he was checked into the net and hit the bar, looked like maybe his knee or something. He left, came back, left, came back to the ice in the 3rd and left right away.
Super Seahawks 24 ~ Patriots 20
