    1. K3X, I don't want to get in another Burkian flap with this blog, so maybe repost without the mention of the parties and I'll remove this one.

    3. Here you go Moeman - can't have you getting busted because of me - our resident lawyer is too busy making public appearances to defend you, so best to play it safe...I have left the word "motherfucker" intact, as it is a frequently used word in this forum...Great effort 29! You certainly did yourself proud. I think this whole story is hilarious and bringing it out this way is only going to serve to prolong its shelflife. It's a bit like when a television station apologises if someone says "motherfucker" on live television. They apologise and move on...they don't make a federal case of it and have to repeat the fact that "some guy named Mendelson said Motherfucker live on a certain morning show.", to which they have apologised etc. And I am a perfect example of the harm these frivolous lawsuits can cause. I had no idea that xxx was banging YYY, until this story came out, but I congratulate him on his success. And another thing - who really spends much time reading the tweets on a show like Tradexxx anyway? No one with half a brain pays much attention to the tweets...until now!

      Anyway - Great Job 29!!

  7. Good job 29, but I have to admit it's the first I've heard of this "story".

Clarkson injured in first game with BJs. What a coincidence! That trade really worked out for both teams.

Last game was painful to watch, here's hoping they show up tonight. ANA played last night on the road so hopefully they're a bit tired. I get to see my favourite Duck, Fowler. Teehee.

    GO HABS GO!

  9. You read through the comments of that Schilling article (or any article like it, or really any comments anywhere on the internet) and it's clear that they do not teach the 1st Amendment in American schools. People, mostly Americans, really have no idea what Freedom of Speech means. Also, I always love the line,

    "*TERRIBLE DIATRIBE*"
    "You're an idiot"
"You can't say that! FREEDOM OF SPEECH!"

    The ironing is delicious.

  15. Do we have an over/under on how many goals cakeS is going to get tonight?

  16. Are the Sens making a run for the playoffs? They won again tonight, now only 4 pts behind Boston with the same amount of games played.

  21. Just like last game, it becomes obvious against bigger teams that DDD is pretty useless. I don't want to dump on the guy, but it's embarrassing.

  22. DET and OTT win their games.

  23. Well, Gibson's mask is pretty cool anyway.

  24. Like I said, another nobody made into an all star by Montreal. Tell me what other team, especially a supposed elite team, faces so many rookies.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I totally agreed with Melnick today, they can lose every game on this road trip, no biggie. Personally I'm not planning a meltdown if they do.

    1. I think they had a mini-slump before the playoffs last year. Plus they are integrating 4 new players.

    2. Exactly. And I'm sure they enjoy themselves too much (as I do) in Lala land and quite frankly they deserve it.

    3. I'm going to need some LA recommendations, Moey! Looking into going towards the end of summer...

  31. Nice seeing cakeS score. Good thing they got another 4th line grinder instead of keeping his goal scoring hands. I mean, it's not like they need scoring. Nope, more 4th line grinders!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Is Gibson made of rubber magnet? Everytime the puck goes near him it sticks.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Wow, cakeS on the PP. Imagine that. You know, good for him getting away from MT. We can only wish the rest of the team could do the same.

  35. Not sure why they're not scoring. They have 3 perfectly good 4th lines.

When they get shut out all playoffs we can be glad that the team has tons of "character". None of those flashy selfish scorers or anything.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well, unlike last game I actually still believe they could score here eventually. I theory, anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Cash it! Hahahahaa....ha.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That kind of night...

Just don't get shut out again tomorrow, k?

    Night.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks, DDD. Glad you were out there to lose that faceoff. Go curl up at MT's legs for a nap.

    ReplyDelete
  40. OH FFS, Ducks score on the EN right from the faceoff. Too bad, perfect opportunity with TFS pulled on a PP.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Well, at least they didn't get shut out.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Watching DDD get shoved off the puck, pushed down, lose faceoff after faceoff, looking lost...it's really embarrassing just to watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  43. They may not be able to win, or score, but they have CHARACTER. Can't wait to hear MT gush about that character after the game.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Don't forget Toker's in net tomorrow. Sooooo......5-0?

    I'm feeling pessimistic.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Credit to Gibson, played a good game.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Night, everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Just read a comment that pretty much summed up my feeling right now. I'll paraphrase:

cakeS didn't fit MT's system. Fine. But if the system couldn't fit a talented scorer....maybe it's not the player's problem? If the coach's system can't utilize a scorer and needs another 4th line grinder, maybe it's the system that needs to change, not the players.

The sky isn't falling or anything, Habs are still 1st in the East. But scoring is a real concern. Not only do the individual players struggle to score goals, but the 'system' (I'm using 'system' as a euphemism for something else) struggles to score goals.

But anyway, GO HABS GO and all that.

  48. I watched the "highlights" when I got up this morning...that didn't put much of a dent into my morning!...I am starting to get a bit worried for the Habs long term success. It seems like the teams out West play a different, much more physical game and the Habs seem to be having issues with that. They are breaking in a few new guys so that will get better with time...but I am worried about going 0-3 tonight against the Kings...does Toker have to play? I mean - they are barely scoring any goals for TFS and they score even fewer for Toker...thank goodness I'm not actually staying up to watch these games...

Wonder how the room is doing now.
Everything is groovey when you are winning.
Hope the new guys are as tight as the old guys were.
    Go Habs
