Nope, just this morning, Blob says the Rags are the team other teams should measure themselves by Cup champs.

Why, what the fuck have they won lately? They lost badly to the Kings last year in the final.

  30. Habs 1st overall, Ducks 2nd.

    Habs:
    GP 72 Wins, 45 Losses 20, OT 7, Row 39, Goal differential +32
    Ducks
    GP 72 Wins, 45 Losses 20, OT 7, Row 37, Goal differential +14

    Just sayin'

  31. Yay!

Watching on delay again. What's with working at work?

Having said that, there are still obvious problems. It looked at times like the defence was literally trying to get the Canes a goal. And how many times did the offence have a clear lane to the net and decided to go wide or behind the net or to pass to no one in particular. I counted three times for DDD, but there were plenty others. They're just lucky the Canes are horrible.

Price has pretty much locked up the Vezina now, just making his final argument for the Hart.

  32. Wild one in Ottawa. I don't want to meet either of those organizations in the first round. I'd be very happy with either Washington or Detroit. I'm not afraid of either, but I would kind of like to concentrate on hockey instead of which Hab will be injured next. By a "hockey play" of course.

  33. Funny, if you look at the "NHL" standings on the tranna sight, they have the Habs in 2nd. Sorry but the only that's real is the NHL standings.

    1. Yeah, it's even spelled out. When two teams are tied in points, it goes to GP. When that's the same, it goes to ROW. There is actually no rational way that ANA is ahead of MTL. They have the exact same record, MTL has more wins and a better goal differential. It's just so petty. A major sports network can't admit another team is in first.

  34. I didn't even notice this until juce brought my attention to the standings.

PIT and WAS are now tied in points (PIT has a game in hand and one more ROW). They're both only 2 points behind NYI. The playoff picture could be very different from what I thought it would be.

It does look like the Habs will have home advantage in the first round at least.

    1. I have just checked the standings listed on toronto sports network and they are still listing the Ducks ahead of the Habs at 09:48 GMT - no excuse for this - blatently wrong - When you have identical records, the next decider is ROW - Habs ROW=39 Ducks ROW=37 Fuck 'em all!!

    2. At least NHL.com can tell the truth...Habs listed as #1 in the league...

  35. Mario Tremblay apparently did his best Mel Gibson impersonation while getting arrested for DUI in January. Seeing as he's the one who ran Roy out of town for peanuts, I'm not surprised he can't recognize talent.

    1. We can mock toronto media for enabling that terrible organization, but we can thank the French media for making language and politics more important than winning for the Habs.

    2. If that fucking cock was DUI they should lock him up and throw away the key. He should never see the light of day again and I certainly never want to hear his fucking whiny sanctimonious little weasel fucking voice on any Habs broadcast ever again! No excuses. EVER!
