  3. RIP. A true great.

I will repeat what I said on Twitter - Lach had 80 points in a 50 game season. Every NHL'er today would kill for 80 points in an 82-game season.

I am hoping beyond hope that some of these recently minted angels will take the time, in a few weeks, to hover above the rafters of the Bell Centre for a while. The Habs are going to need all the help they can get.

Nice tribute to Mr. Lach moe, you are the best!

Feschuk and his brother at the Star have been ripping the leaf new ones for a while, they fall outside of the SFU.

  8. What a shitshow last night. Despite what I think of the coach and/or certain players that may or may not get too much ice time and PP time, I'll never give up on this team, but I sadly have to agree with the mediots that Carey Price is the only player that can actually take this team to the end. And if that doesn't happen, it'll be up to MB to identify the problem and fix it in the off-season.

And RIP Mr. Lach...keep your stick on the ice.

Out of respect to our fellow FHFer Moey, I am biting my tongue regarding certain members of the Habs. I know I've given a few shots lately, but I'm getting ready to express my feelings if there is an embarrassing early exit similar to what happened against Ottawa a couple of years ago.

  10. What a disgrace the league on the SFU have made out of the game of hockey and what is stands for.

    https://ca.news.yahoo.com/rob-ford-appointed-board-directors-hockey-hall-fame-203830161--nhl.html?linkId=13337108

"Ford also said he played hockey when he was younger and that he would do anything he could to support the game throughout Canada.
"When people call me they know they're getting someone that's experienced," he said. "I've got season tickets to the Leafs and I'm obsessed with hockey and obviously football but hockey's my number one sport and I'm going to try to just keep pushing it."

    3. Actually, at least Harper is a hockey historian. Politics aside, he's probably more qualified than most to serve on the HHOF. Ford is a crack addict loser. The NHL attracts losers, what else is new?

  17. It's hard to criticize a guy who's a got a team to over 100pts
Having said that, his loyalty to a 5ft 8 Centre is a "head scratcher"
We're not going to win a Cup with him as the #1 Centre

    1. Matt...no it us not hard at all...he's fucking useless!

    2. Price. It's because of Price. I say the same thing about the defence that he "got the Pens to the finals!" Yeah, and then he left and they WON THE CUP. It's not that he's completely useless, but he is not the best coach for this team. He didn't get this team to where they are, he's keeping them from being better. Just like with the Pens.

    1. I'm convinced they lost last night on purpose. How can you not score on a 5 min PP, then a 5on3, then an OT PP? Because if that was a real effort we're only going to see 4 more games. That...was not an NHL team performance.

      Delete
    2. Helps when the PP works doesn't it?

      Delete
    3. Helps when you have a coach who doesn't take 77 games to change things up. Helps when you put the guys who actually have scored on the PP recently on the ice instead of a midget who won't shoot it. But I'm not an expert.

  20. Lacroix runs the PP ( which he sucks at) overseen by MT 2.0
They haven't fixed it all fuckin year
We won't survive in the playoffs without one

The New Jersey Devils forward was fined the maximum amount under the collective bargaining agreement, forced to fork over a shade under $1,500 for his malicious elbow to the mouth of Alexei Emelin, the NHL's department of player safety announced."

  23. SURPRISE! Cherry says Emelin dove with the elbow! It was a bad check by Emelin before that! First time in history the old racist has not defended a check. This after he defends Big Buff for almost decapitating that other guy.

It's just a sport, but when you defend violence like that you're a piece of human shit. A national embarrassment. Canada's most famous loser. Famous for not being able to count to 5.

  27. the Maritimer9:52 PM

OK. Moey, I'm keeping my powder dry for the moment.

The PP, watched a segment tonight on the pre-game shitshow on OV and how he is used on the Caps power play. They basically set up #8 on his off wing, he's a right shot, and set him up for the big one-timer or just a high percentage shot on goal. Here's a novel idea Mr. Lacroix, put PK in the same spot or set up Patches on his off wing on the right side and let him fire away. Also, keep Peter Dinklage off the first wave, you don't need him to gain the zone to start the PP....you are ALREADY THERE dipshit!

Rob Ford?? They are fucking brain dead in Toronto.

Also, this straight from Steve Shutt....when that too many men penalty happened, it wasn't just one guy....it was a whole fuckin' line that went on from the B's bench! The ref had no choice but to call it. Sucks to be you Cherry you old fuck.

I'd like to print a copy of J.T.'s thesis and mail it to MB. Maybe he'd do the right thing before the playoffs start. She got one thing right for sure. The Habs ain't winnin' no Stanley Cup anytime soon with this "system". They might as well bring back Chokula as have Beelzebub standing behind the bench.
