  2. Now I know what's taking so long for the Habs - Buttman to support the lightning and Ben and Mila Mulroney to represent the conservatives in the house, but they don't know the power of my CH earrings and my granddoggie whose name just happens to be Mila.

Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!

  7. Balls.

Terrible play by Plaid, who's been invisible all game.

  8. They deserved a better fate.

  9. They had every chance to put it away, but couldn't close the deal. If they can't take advantage of a tired TB team in double OT on the road, the series ain't looking good.

  10. Not surprising when you have golden chances early on and don't cash, it usually ends the wrong way. Gotta figure out how to finish. \

    Good night.

  11. What the fuck "Karma"? It was clearly a disallowed goal. What about karma for the 6 early whistles tonight when the puck was loose around the TB net?

  12. TVA has a point, why do you have Plaid, a rookie, facing the best trio of the bolts when you have the last change?

    1. Why does MT have a guy who has only scored 2 career playoff goals leading the PP? There are much bigger concerns, in my opinion, than what defenceman happened to be on for that one play. As good as Price is, we can't expect him to get a shutout every game to get the win. So, really, fine another d-man is out there and makes a better play. Then they still don't score and eventually TB does on another play.

  13. As long as MT insists on putting DD on the first PP unit every PP, the Habs will continue to struggle. One of them (or both) has to go before this team can have success.

  14. They've scored 3 goals in 14 periods of hockey now (not counting the EN goal). Unbelievably, Price has gotten them a win and a double OT loss out of that. This team needs to do something to score.

  15. i haven't gone to bed yet. i should. But PJ Stock of all people noted that the winning goal was actually offside. Probably by 6-8 inches.

  16. Well have to give Kudos to Cooper who said the ref made the right call on the disallowed goal, or is he playing the refs for next game to gain favour, after all he is a lawyer? No offense, HF29.

    1. MT not so happy with the non offside call on the winner. Rightfully so. Oh well, just gotta keep battling. Played a great game except for the ability to finish on some great chances.

    2. Just saw the replay, definitely off-side.

  17. MT says the goal was off-side, and it's frustrating because it's not a judgement call, it's black and white, The refs missed the offside.

  18. Yup, just rewatched it and have it paused on the play. Offside by a good 6-10 inches. And you know what, these things happen. But let's remember the play was called dead at least three times with the puck still loose around the net, and now this. Will anyone even mention it? Yet one bad call against the Sens and the Habs 'stole' the series and it's the greatest injustice ever. I'm not even that mad at the blown call (shit happens), I'm more incensed that they used a blown call to discredit Montreal's win but say nothing when these things happen against them.

  19. Lots of CHances but Deadwood.

  20. “So Michel, can you tell me why despite the fact that the PP is dead and he loses 85% of his faceoffs, is getting slapped around by the huge tampa D and hasn’t scored in 35 games is DD out there instead of Lars Eller who has been playing amazing hockey in the playoffs?”.."

Vodkov has to go back to second paring. His legs have hit the wall.

Did MT actually answer that question 'cause I'd like to hear the answer?

That was a well played game, TB got the bounce, it happens. Going to be a long series. Go Habs!

  21. Yes it is a Stones ref and a MT WTF. Meet the new boss same as the old boss who traded away Patric Roy. Will we clear out gCHuck in the spring because he can not play with a useless center?

    1. Did the one eyed lawyer see the offside?

    2. 29 is way to busy with freeing humantiy from coypyright to care about a six inch infractionl

  22. I couldn't get the game last night - work commitments...sounds like the habs played a good game and had some bad breaks. It happens...but they needed to cash in the effort early to be able to play their game. One game at a time boys! Go habs go!

  23. Fate should've give the Habs the game.

    Too many CHances wasted.

    The SFU are giddy.

    Fuck them.

  24. Just read the piece on HI/O about how gCHuck needs to step up. He was demoted to the 4th line and taken off the PP. Good thing everyone else getting top 6 minutes and top PP time is producing so well, and has been all season! I mean, at least gCHuck scored a clutch OT goal this spring, and I can't remember quite well but I'm sure everyone else on the top line has as well, especially when they are always on the first wave PP and get the o-zone faceoffs. Yup, I'm sure every single guy besides gCHuck has prospered in that role, otherwise why would they continually get that opportunity again and again and again. And again. Nope, MT's got it all under control. If you don't produce he will immediately take you off center the PP. He's done it to gCHuck all season, and while I don't have the time to look it up, I'm sure he's treated everyone as fairly, too. It's about results! No excuses!

    1. People who complain need to get of gCHuk's fucking back. The kid is barely being played like his skills determine.

    2. He hasn't been the breakout guy these playoffs yet (though he does have an OT winner), but there are lots of other guys on the roster who are more experienced and have been given way more opportunities to excel, but have completely come up empty. To blame a 21 year old kid who has been 'sheltered' (aka not been put into his natural role) is ridiculous. Why not go after the #1 center who is literally embarrassing to watch on the ice? Why not ask PAP where he's been? Has Plecky done anything since game 1 of the Sens series? No, let's fuck with the kid who still actually has potential to be a star.

    3. Well, I must say I thought for sure he was going to be nailed to the bench getting 3 penalties, but MT put him back out.

      Delete
    4. No choice in a double OT game. But yeah, he was still out there at least. Although I do complain a lot, I don't think MT is completely useless. Actually, in this case I'm more bothered by the media than the coach. If you're going to write an article pinpointing one guy, I don't think gCHuck should be it.

  25. Alright, going out for the fight (which I'm intentionally late for because I couldn't care less about it) and then backgammon all afternoon (I enjoy boardgames and it's hard to line up schedules with the only guy I know who knows how to play) and then quiz night at the Canadian pub for free booze! As such, not sure if I'll be up for the game in real time, but I'll be sure to vent my happiness/outrage here at some point tomorrow.

    GO HABS GO!
