  1. Great SF, loved the GIF, who she is magnificant. Now the dirty work begins, trades contracts, cap space and pouring the concrete that will make or break 2016. If DDD is still part of the foundation, this house is going to fall.

Awesome as per usual, moeman. Some old, some new, a smorgasborg (sp) for all.

  3. Joey MacDonald is leaving the NHL for Germany.

The goaltender who spent 2014-15 in the Montreal Canadiens organization has signed a one-year deal with the Schwenninger Wild Wings.

MacDonald, 35, played all 26 of his games last season in the AHL with the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Man, the Toronto Sports Network cracks me up, now that the playoffs are over, it's all leaf and phat phil all the time. With a little Coyotes on the side. What a farce they are and make no effort to hide it.

This U.S. Open at the Chambers Bay course (in a old rock quarry plus gravel pit) is entertaining as hell. The ball rolls all over the place like a marble on a glass table. It kicked the shit out of Tiger, he looks worse every time he plays. Hard to believe he is so washed up at 39. I can hit the fairway more often than he does. An interesting fact mentioned yesterday was that only 5% of all golfers can break 90. I do it fairly often so I fell pretty good. Mind you, I'm not playing on a 7000 yard course either but I still play the mid-tees.

Anybody watching the Draft next Sexy Friday? It's on snet...Yuck!

The Habs need to be in tank mode by 2018 to get the next McD, center Joseph Veleno. So draft all the D men you want, you don't want to be scoring goals anyway.

The little fuckity-fuck diver should be going to jail. I was glad Gainey got rid of that POS even if it was for nothing... nothing was spelled "niniimaa".

  6. The Korea Herald has issued a correction for the Stanley Cup Champions Chicago Bears incident.

Best line: "As for fans of “Da Bears,” I hope our gaffe did not hurt your feelings by serving to remind everyone that your team has not won a Super Bowl since 1985."

As a friend of several Bear fans/bandwagon Hawk fans this pleases me.

  9. Gotta talk golf with the M for a bit...Hey the M, good job breaking 90 on a regular basis. I've broken 100 once and that was about 19 years ago. Mind you until this year, I've averaged about 4 rounds per year, at least one of those a scramble. I'm trying to get out more this year. Considering purchasing some game improvement clubs. Have never actually purchased good new clubs. My first clubs were Sears specials, my next 2 sets second hand (at least). Currently using Wilson Deep Reds from 2004 or so, handed down my by brother (46 years old and still getting hand me downs). So I'm seriously considering the Taylormade Speedblades (last year's club). Golftown have the 3H,4H and 5I-PW on for $589. They say it's a savings of $550. It's that catch 22 of I don't play well/often enough to warrant new clubs against I won't improve without decent clubs (and some lessons wouldn't hurt of course). Anyway, I'm just waffling - not sure if I can justify them right now after just spending major coin on a new sewer line, fire place, oil tank, vehicle...
That US Open course is insane. It looks so hard and dry with insanely fast greens which I can't tell from the fairway. Wonder if Tiger will be availalbe for our annual work scramble?

    Malkin wearing the CH yet?

    1. Wait, my first clubs were purchased from some old guy living in a trailer in the middle of the woods in northern BC. I paid $50. The set was a mismatch and included an actual wooden club and a 1 iron and 3 snoopy type putters (among others).

I'm currently playing Taylormade R7's that I bought second hand two summers ago. Got them from a guy locally who deals in used golf clubs. They were basically in new condition and I got them for $300.00. I also have a Taylormade driver and 3 fairway wood but the best club in my bag may be a Ping 5 wood that I can hit over 200 yards with. My best investment ever though, was golf lessons for three springs in a row starting in 2009. I would regularly shoot around 100-105 before, after my first session I was 95-100, after that I retired; played at least three times a week and after my third lesson started shooting 85-90. My best round ever was in 2012, a 79. I enjoy golf as a recreation and for camaraderie and I enjoy the walk. Rockwood Park where I play is very hilly and you cover 10k in 18 holes. That's a damn good hike over 4 hours. I generally lose about 10 lbs over the course of a season.

Tiger could do better if he would smarten up and realize he is not as flexible and the younger guys like D.J. and Spieth or Bubba. He thinks he can power his way around a course but those days are over for him. He needs to realize that he has to concentrate on his short game, then he will be at least competitive again. He's just embarrassing himself these days.

Apparently Malkin is not available according to the Pitt GM. Bullshit, everybody is available for the right price. I don't have a sweet clue what MB is going to do but I would bet he will make a splash sometime this summer.

They say hockey players are tough and will play through injuries if able. Go read about Jason Day's round yesterday at the U.S. Open. I really like this kid. Vertigo is nasty stuff yet he persevered to share the lead. Go Jason Go!!

My Dad left this world in march of 2001 - brain tumor took him way too soon - I think of him all the time and smile even more on fathers Day - he made me the Dad I am today and I thank him for it. Happy fathers day to all of the FHFATHERS out there. And happy belated SF everyone - nice ones all round Moeman!
