  2. I got back on the saddle yesterday but the day before I was vegan and got a hell of a rash

    1. Don't joke to me about rashes, Steve. I've had this terrible situation since I got to China. Could be the water in the shower, the food (which is delicious!), the soap or maybe the one country two systems policy in general. Thought I had it beat but it came back with a vengance a few days ago. Luckily it's everywhere but the face and 'down there'. Which can also mean that I just don't wash my face and nether regions enough. Or maybe my body is just not used to Habs success.

    1. It read like a poem.

    2. Reading a lot on Twitter about how Semin should be in the lineup and how he is vital to the line he's on. My take is that while he has been playing well, his rep precedes him and given that MT benched him he was always going to be the one sitting tonight. Byron needs a game so it as obvious.
Plaid and Tin Tin are D Men so they won't get a game until someone either fucks up royally or gets injured. Give Byron a run out and see what happens. Let's hope he's motivated a fuck and scores a couple of goals - it gives MT more options. It's a long season.

  10. Why do the snet SFU call the NYR a leaf 'rival'? Because its an original 6? Man, even the Habs could care less than to call them a true rival. SFU adds the rival tag to half the NHL teams that play their leaf. I should've taken Marketing 101.

Don't know if I would characterize the Rags as a true rival, but after that playoff series and the "cryder" incident, there is a little animosity, especially when Price decked the clumsy fool last game. Most true rivalries are built through frequent playoff series. Hence, the stoopid fucking leaf have no rivals. They are merely practice dummies for real hockey teams.

  11. Paul Byron is small of stature. His initials are LB. Despite the use of our metric system, maybe we nickname him Lb. Note I capitalized one of the two 'letters', cuz its FHFun (hi iRi!).

  12. Just when I thought ... nope ... tsn is gleefully rooting for tfc. Truly SFU.

  13. Patriots should fry the fish in a close one. Habs should rebound nicely. Guess i'll be switching back and forth as long as i can stay awake.

    1. In their defence (since they don't have any of their own), it must be hard to attract free agents to the city. But I'd think with all these young kids they'd get some bites.

      Delete
    2. the Maritimer9:53 PM

They kept thinking an 18 year old kid was going to come into the NHL and dominate and get them to the playoffs. They had no veterans to show them how to play. All they have to show for it is a losing culture. Chiarelli will start moving bodies soon.

  35. Snowing in Edmonton.

  36. Did ferrence get new gloves this season?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Watching the game in Edmonton is always so strange because the bench is on the other side. Always takes me a little while to figure out what's wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't understand their reluctance to shoot on the PP. That was a hug part of the problem last year. Even when they gained the zone and controlled the puck, they would just pass it back and forth for 2 minutes. It seems a bit better this year, but still. Don't have to take every shot, but eventually you have to put it on net.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sure looks like it crossed the line.

  40. What a save by Emelin!...

  43. Speaking of Sheik, he worked out with an MMA trainer. "It wasn't until after signing the contract that Condon started working with Ream to rebuild a body that already had two surgically repaired hips. They worked six days a week from July 1 through September, with a focus on strengthening Condon's core and his mental game."

  49. TFS having a lot of problems with his skates, now they're on the ice changing his blades.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Internet went out again. Come back to this shit.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Now that's the TFS we all know and love. Nothing like a new skate blade.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Jesus Price, that was an amazing save.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Did anyone tell the guys they're playing Edmonton? Like....the Edmonton Oilers?

    ReplyDelete
  54. FFS.

Tied game, faceoff in O-zone. Let's start the 3rd line! Because my boyfriend is on there!

    Fire MT.

    ReplyDelete
  55. OUF, they blew a 3 goal lead.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well, the 9 game winning streak was just an illusion. Same problems as before and a coaching staff that refuses to fix them.

Not to get all sky is falling, but as I've said for years now, as long as both MT and DDD are on this team they will never be successful. One of them needs to go in order for both of them to be successful.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks moeman, goodnight all.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Can't wait for Michel to blame this one on Semin. Oh wait. Guess that means DD should sit next game.

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
