Great Sexy Friday as usual. I said my piece earlier this morning.

Have a great long weekend everyone. Unless you are retired like me and the weekends are 7 days long.

  10. Might just be schadenfreude for Hazel Burke, er Mae, for her disgusting on-camera slag to the face of DeShields Jr. when she had the Toronto nerve to laugh in his face that his father 'never made the post season as an Expos'. She is part of the SFU.

2-0 Wings over SFU's leaf after one. Welcome back Babs.

    1. 4-0

So, if you are a veteran player or a leaf goalie, do you buy into this unethical losing philosophy and weaken your value if/when you get booted? Imagine, you are forced to play to lose and then try to sell your wares somewhere else. Unprofessional doesn't begin to describe it. Enjoy the ulcers Babs because your $50M will buy you the best medicine in the world. It won't buy back whatever integrity you once had, no matter how hard snet tries to sell you as the greatest hockey coach in the universe.

    2. Bonus, the Wings' kid Larkin has completed outplayed the entire leaf team. So much for not playing/coaching young players as part of your pathetically pedestaled philosophy, eh Babs?

Yep, the sad sack leaf will out-Buffalo Buffalo this season.

Bonus, just watching the National, lots of long faces streaming out of skydome tonight. Loserville.

Amusing as well, an article in today's Star, the mediots are trying to deflect away from the leaf by promoting the AHL team.

Heh,kypridiot referring to the leaf defence as "thoroughbreds" and babs has to rein them in. Talk about delusional.

    1. As shitstained and endeavour, we are going to have FHFun picking out these golden nuggets from the SFU shit.

Here's a beaut; snet, in their professional, unbiased estimation of the top 50 'important' NHL players, have given kadri #28 and celine # 15. Out of 50 out of almost 800 players.

  14. TorontoSportsNetwork:
"Former NHL defenceman and TSN analyst Aaron Ward was arrested Friday in Cary, N.C., and charged with two misdemeanors, including assault on a female.
Sgt. Jeff Ward (no relation) of the Cary Police Department said Ward was allegedly involved in a "pushing and shoving match" with his wife, Kelly, inside their home in Cary.
"They had a domestic disagreement that rose to the level we thought required a charge," Sgt. Ward said. "It got a little out of control."
A TSN spokesperson said, "We are aware of the situation and the seriousness of the charges. As a result, Aaron Ward will not appear on-air until further notice."
Ward, 42, was also charged with "interfering with emergency communications," after allegedly taking his wife's cell phone while she was on the phone with emergency dispatchers.
He remains in custody in Wake County until bond and conditions of his release are set by a judge, which is likely to occur on Sunday, according to Cary Police.
Ward played 839 NHL games and won three Stanley Cups, including one in 2006 with the Hurricanes. He was hired by TSN in 2011."

    Another report:
"In a statement, TSN communications director Greg McIsaac said the TV network was “aware of the situation” and Ward wouldn’t appear on-air “until further notice.”

    Another:
"Luke DeCock of the News Observer initially tweeted that Ward's wife, Kelly, was arrested for simple assault, which is a misdemeanor. Kelly Ward was cited and released, according to DeCock. He then tweeted that the charge was rescinded. Aaron Ward remains in a county jail for 48 hours."

    2. "According to a magistrate's order, Ward assaulted his wife "by pushing her." Interfered with emergency communications "by taking" her phone.

Kelly Ward was cited and released. Aaron Ward, by NC law, will have to remain in Wake County Jail for 48 hours."
