  2. Emelin (lower body injury), Lb out, Plaid in. looks like Semin in too.
Prior to puckdrop the Habs will pay tribute to the victims of yesterday's terrorist attacks in Paris.(I expected nothing less)

After all the terrible events of yesterday we need to do what President Holland said, which is to carry on with doing the things we love to to do. We can't let those cowardly bastards win.

    Go You Fucking Habs Go!!

    1. Hear, hear! We need to show the cowards that they will not make us live in terror and our lives will go on as usual.

  6. Great tribute Moeman. The only way to get on with our lives is for us all to carry on. We will not be beat by this. Let's hope that the Habs are able to do the same thing tonight. Go you fucking Habs go!

Plaid gets in a game before TinTin that can't be good for the young man. (Y) out with a lower body injury, I wonder if one of them will be leaving town with Saint Patrick.

The Avs captain Gabriel Landeskog gets a two game suspension for a supposed headshot on ratface, I think we should take up a collection for him along with a thank you card.

  15. Re: the dinner thread...PB&J and Coke Zero. Living large. Thing is as i've said before the rest of my family is celiac - today I bought a loaf of soft white Ben's bread which I haven't eaten in years. Tastes like heaven.

    GYMFHG!!!

And I hope that nobody thinks that just because life must go on after such horrific events, that those who lost their lives and lie in hospitals aren't still in our thoughts. We in here know that they very much are indeed.

  24. Hey the M, good luck to your Giants against my Pats tomorrow...but not really :-). Eli has had their number in the past though, especially in the big games. But I've changed my pick - had the Giants covering the 7.5 spread but not sure they will...may cover it again. If anything, i could only hope they let Jennings run the ball (he's on my fantasy team), but I'm sure Vereen will be given every opportunity to burn his former team.

I've got Jennings also, hope he runs for a hundred and a couple TDs... but not likely. They are using 4 rbs in NY.

  25. Fucking Yogi is looking like a Vezina winner. Habs did that all the time for noname goalies, but that was last year. And to be fair, he has among the best numbers in the league...not unlike Condom.

    ReplyDelete
  26. They say McKinnon has scored with the same stick all season....someone break it.

  31. Maybe they'll put a few more past Condon, MT will leave him in there, he'll demand a trade and be sent to Colorado with Duchene coming back the other way.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hey!!! My plan worked...switched over to curling for a few minutes to come back to the goal.

    ReplyDelete
  33. the Maritimer8:32 PM

OK...a two goal lead is the worst in hockey. Let's work with that.

    1. Heh. Iggy can still play. Would be a nice fit on our 2nd line. You know, if this Semin thing doesn't work out.

    2. I think the stink of that season he spent in beantown has worn off, so would be ok.

  34. C'mon, Habs, cash it.

  35. I better get back to curling...

  36. Berra should have had a penalty for playing the puck outside of his zone during the PP

I can't believe I'm saying this but it might be (will be) time for the coach to get his blender out. I'd give Max back to DD with Flash to see if he would wake up. He's been next to useless with Plex.

  50. Oh jeez, when is Price coming back? Afraid the fairy tale is over for Condon.

Not that he was alone in this suckfest. PatCHes has been useless for about 10 games now. The defence looked like it was trying to lose the game. Yet again they make a nobody AHL goalie look like 1999 Hasek.

But man, you could feel the air go out of their tires on that 3rd goal. And then some life on the gKid goal, some good pressure on the PP....and then completely destroyed by a wrister one of the Timbits could have stopped.

Oh well, there are certainly worse things in life.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Wow, in one night Habs get knocked out of first overall in standings, goals scored and goal differential.

    Get well soon, Carey!
