  2. "Parenteau is feeling a confidence he just didn’t have in Montreal last year. He didn’t get that backing, he says, from Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien and it led to feelings of insecurity on the ice and with his place in the lineup. He was a healthy scratch at times playing in his home province of Quebec."

I saw a snippet of some show on RDS where they were talking to PAP, he also had issues with Roy,says he only had problems with Quebec coaches, doesn't know why.

    1. Maybe he's the problem but then again Side Show is the greatest coach of all time.

I suspect PAP was looking for some favouritism from fellow Quebecois. I think the guy made a living off John Tavares and thought he was better than he was. I will give him credit - he was money in the bank in the shootout.

I concur - Side Show is the greatest coach of all time. Just ask the mediots and leafools.

    3. Funny how Side Show wasn't 'the greatest coach of all time' this time last year. Wonder what happened.

  23. "Hey guys, we missed two really obvious too many men calls, and a few other infractions by the bruins in the first period. So, call Montreal on anything possible within the first minute or two of the second."

  28. Right before that play they showed Julien talking and laughing with the ref. I said in my head, "broons getting the next PP, and it'll be soon". It was a penalty, but there were about 3 that should have gone the other way right before it.

    1. Actually, I imagine he'd rather to move to a contender (if he was to move), a team that has one of his childhood friends on it perhaps. I'd like that even more to screw the SFU and their fans moreso than the incredible talent he would bring to the Habs.

  34. "It doesn't matter who's the better team, it matters who scores more".

Yeah, and the Habs are doing both right now, nice implication though.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Not sure how that's not a penalty shot.

  36. I miss TFS. Sigh.

  40. Finding ways to lose.

    ReplyDelete
  41. New rule: No more fake shots. Because they always end up in the corner. Just take the freaking shot.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I literally don't remember the last time PK hit the net with a shot.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I mean, sure they've had good pressure. But how many really good chances have they had?

    ReplyDelete
  44. WITNESS THE COLLAPSE.

    ReplyDelete
  45. As they say, no excuses. But...had CHip been given the penalty shot he deserved, whether or not he would have scored changes the entire rest of the game, they aren't shorthanded to give up the shorty and the rest of the stuff doesn't necessarily happen. Maybe they find a way to lose anyway. Is it the butterfly effect I'm thinking of? One small change can alter anything that happens after it.

Oh well, we're moving on to Cincinnati...er Detroit.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Positive note. It wasn't a 3-2 loss.

    ReplyDelete
  47. meh baby, she said shut your mouth
