  1. Morning Moeman - You got it in one - A fresh start to the week. If the Habs are playing so bad it makes Patches swear, I'm pretty sure something will change tonight. Thing is also, the goalies haven't been that much of a problem - ok - Toker flopping around last week was pretty bad - but Condon has been pretty good overall - lousy D has cost the Habs deflections he has had no chance on or guys standing alone in front of the net. And the forwards wil start to fire again...soon I hope!

No Excuses goddammit! JUST FUCKING WIN!

  4. Tinordi draws in tonight....I am shocked.

  5. Well, Tonordi, I hope you have a stellar game and put MT to shame for trying to ruin your career.

    1. The way the D has played of late there isn't much he could do to not help. I too want him to play a really strong game tonight. Give a big Fuck you to MT before DGMB trades him for some fucking rental winger...

I'm pretty sure of two things tonight. TinTin will commit a gaffe at some point and get his ass nailed to the bench and eMTy's pet DDD will lead all forwards in TOI. I can't guarantee a Rinne shutout but it will be close.

  7. Wow...a broon got suspended! Oh, it's only Max Talbot. Never mind.

    1. I guess Rinaldo's lobbying by blaming a ref for his injury didn't pan out.

  9. I am actually pretty optimistic. Rinne has a .908SV% compared to Condon's .904, and Nashville has an amazing defence.

    3-2 Habs. In a SO.

  13. But really, I'm sick of all this talk about goaltending. Habs have only scored more than 2 (3!) once in the last 9 games. Every team would suck with that sort of scoring.

Interesting, the Habs are 2-7 since MT started tinkering with the lines. They were 5-2-2 in the 9 games before that. Just throwing that out there (and the injuries, including KidG, were piling up before any changes and they were still getting points). That's what happens when you panic.

  21. After Patches outburst after last game, I really expected them to come out swinging led by their captain. Instead, more of the same.

Maybe....there needs to be more of a leader leading them.

    ReplyDelete
  22. So, just how the leaf blew out the Kings 5-0 after the Habs got shut out by them, the Wild have 2 goals on Dallas on 4 shots.

    Must be nice.

  25. I would love to see the Habs have a practice where all they do is shoot the puck at the net.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Same 'ol story. On paper the Habs are outshooting their opposition 14-7, but I definitely wouldn't say they outplayed them. Nashville has had lots more scoring chances.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Wait...Kessel just scored his '10th' goal of the year? I remember all the 'experts' saying he'd score 50 easily. Weise has 10 goals.

  28. Found it interesting that Team Canada coach dave lowry said he 'didn't need to explain' why Noah Juulsen was not selected.

  34. I think if they can score a goal, they'll get the boost they need to take this one.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Why are 2 Habs behind the net and no one in front? You can't score back there.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Love watching the "#1 center" getting manhandled in the o-zone. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  37. juce you need to bottle your optimism and sell it to Habs fans for Christmas. You could make a killing.

    ReplyDelete
  38. They are clearly not going to put a puck past Rinne.

    ReplyDelete
  39. A penalty, kill it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. gCHyuk had 3.5 minutes in the first and 5.53 in the 2nd yet he has 5 shots, next most have 3 DDD and PleXXXe.

  42. Another goal when the PP isn't technically a PP anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Now stay out of the fucking box, it's bad enough when the refs call their phantom shit.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Toker bit on that shot so hard he cracked a tooth.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Not giving up but can't watch anymore tonight. Will go bay at the moon and be glad the days get longer as of tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I actually really did think the Habs would take this one (or at least try to take it).

I try to be optimistic, but it just leads to a harder fall. I think I'll stick to my pessimism from now on.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I think it's important to note that Nashville's PK is terrible. I think 28th in the league? Something like 73%. And the Habs can't even get a chance on it.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Play tomorrow. Take what comes. Enjoy the Holidays with your families boys. DGMB needs to ask his coaches what the FUCK is going on. Put some ass in the Winter Classic and be ashamed if its KidA that you are all waiting for until TFS™ is back. All the AHL call-ups (and waiver pick-ups) need an extra gift in their Xmas stockings. GYFHG!

    1. I didn't (really) forget the two sunny FLA games. Maybe the extra sunshine will warm them up. A tan is always nice.

  49. Whatever. Score another 10. Nothing will change.

    ReplyDelete
  50. 3 goals in over 10mins is doable. woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    ReplyDelete
  51. ...but they need that ONE

    ReplyDelete
  52. Awesome they score as I was typing.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oh look, an AHL-er gets the goal. Hint hint, the vets are useless.

    ReplyDelete
  54. They're going to review it, but Weber pushed gCHyuk, so should be a good goal.

    1. It doesn't matter what logic says, though.

    2. That's right, it's like Galagher said, 'the D know now all they have to do is push you and the goal gets refused'

      Delete
  55. Fucking robbed by the crooked refs.

    ReplyDelete
  56. There ya go, no fucking goal. Fuckers.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Wow. What a corrupt league.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Don't see Laviolette and mickey ribs complain about the refs 'reviewing' (huddled at the Bell) and stormed off saying 'It's always the same here'

    ReplyDelete
  59. Fucking refs, with an offsetting penalty, there's no way they let the Habs play honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Methinks the Habs lead the league in reviewed = refused goals.

I don't care how many time whichever fuck says this is the best refereed league, fuck off. Four fucking morons can't make a correct decision on most calls and need some cloistered review team making a decision. Fuckers.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Imagine, we could have a bit of game here if the refs weren't corrupt.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Time for DGMB to take a nice big fucking fine from fuckface bettman, for the team of course.

  62. Wow, too bad no one there for the rebound.

  63. ugh an open net was at your disposal.

One more time: call it a goal or call it a penalty. But the video review and incidental contact rules are choking the life out of games.

    1. oops I think it was a puck, WTF call it anyway, if it was a Pred, the Habs would get a penalty.

  67. Jesus christ dd, do something.

    ReplyDelete
  68. It's probably best that Carr's goal got taken away. The last time a rookie was leading the team in goals this month he got benched.

    Poor Ghetto.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Well, that's that. The boys will be listening to Hank Williams 'You're Cheating Heart' in the dressing room.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Meh. Patches will show 10x more intensity in his interviews than on the ice, PK will tweet a pic of him eating dinner with Prince in Minnesota, a rookie who is actually playing well will be benched and DD will get more ice time than anyone else next game. All while MB looks on. I think the guys have been on Christmas break for a few weeks now.

      Delete
  70. LOLZ, Habs have double the shots as the Preds and are going to lose 5-1.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'm not sure what was worse. Knowing this team was terrible for 20 years, or having a glimmer of hope these past couple. Same results, just a different approach.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Tomorrow they can go wild in Minnesota.

    ReplyDelete
  73. alright, time to live my life. Night all.

    ReplyDelete
  74. They're a better team than this, each loss creeps in their heads but I'm sure a win will be just what they need to turn it around.

You guys won't believe this, but I am actually a pessimist.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Wow! To think this season I thought they had finally arrived to be legit contenders. What the hell is going on? Ridiculous. And on that note I'm off to Fiji and Australia for three weeks, missing the winter classic *sob*. A very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to moe and all my friends ar FHF.

  76. I thought Tinordi had a good game.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Tintin and Gilbert each -3...at least Tinordi credited with 3 hits.
Pleks most TOI for a forward with 18:24. 2nd most? DDD with 17:29...also a -3.
Kid that showed signs of brilliance gCHuk just over 15 minutes, 7 shots on goal. I still think he'll have Kovalevian skills, hopefully with much more heart and desire.

As for this trainwreck, let er ride at this point. When if finally goes off the cliff, the engineer should be the first to go. Just win the Winter Classic FFS.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Happy Birthday Maritmer, and Merry Christmas to the whole FHF gang. I have put in a pretty big order to Santa, delivery very far from guaranteed, but hey if you cant wish for world peace and good will to all people its not Christmas.
