    1. Do you really? This will be all leaf and "look how shit thje Habs are. Only a few points separate a team in rebuild with the world's greatest ever award winning world champion coach and some unbelievable prospects and building superstars in the making with the only missing piece being stamkos" and the pathetic hopeless team from montreal who have only one player who is any good and he is injured so they are a terrible team lucky to even still have a franchise...or similar

plus the enivitable optimus puke vs TFS talk. No arguning that Puke is a player, while TFS cant get on the ice. I would not make that straight up trade. I cant believe I am saying that. Heels will chip in. " if a goalie cant stop the puck, there value dimishes to zero"

Get a good draft pick that can be played for a player and go for in in 2017.

I expect a Engima, a cipher, within a riddle, dominated by a puzzle, a confligaration of images all moving, saying something but nothing and then another tangent, a red herring, a grad macmuffin and then the movie.

      Yes Highly anticipated

    ReplyDelete
  82. Thanks moeman, goodnight everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Yay! That's not even sarcastic, I hate the leaf and if they only win one more game this season I'm glad it's this one.

Hilarious that they're going on and on about this 4k technology, you can zoom and see everything. Then on Carr's non-goal suddenly they only have one terrible angle that shows nothing. Funny how that works.

Also, offside on 2nd leaf goal, don't care about the rationalization by the leaf lovers at HNIC.

Also, too many men and another non-called off-side in OT that almost led to a leaf goal. Too bad there was yet again no replay available despite all their technology.

Hey SN, you think you're being coy but we know when you don't show a replay you're hiding something, and it's to protect your leaf.

Anyway, let the winning streak commence!

    hahahahahahahahahahahaaaa....sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  84. A win is a win is a win...especially against the leaf...one game at a time.

Good Morning FHFers! Went to the Panthers/Bolts game last night. WatCHed Bish-Flop get chased and the over-rated Tampons get smoked. Since the Habs are toast without Price I can at least watch former Sea Dogs Gerard Gallant and Jonathan Huberdeau with some interest. Luuuuu is still a pretty damn good goalie. Always liked him actually, ever since he finished his junior career up in Bathurst, NB.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Happy for Gallant. He was to communicator and motivator for the Habs and he is surely missed.

    2. So very true Maritimer. Perhaps the X-Files can get on the case. The John Scott trade certainly points to a probably alien takeover of MB's brain, no?

  87. During the game I said CHip was hurt, I just saw the replay, Captain Coward speared CHip in the jewels in front of the laff net, not once, but twice.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That's what happened? PKP-hockey didn't follow up on that the way RDS would. CHip's reaction was certainly in keeping with such an injury. The feed from Sportsnet was really lame all game. Auto's non-goal was curiously not covered from the usual angles (as I believe you mentioned upthread).

      Delete
  88. GO PATS! Not off to a great start however...

Regarding the wretched leaf, an overtime win is actually the perfect game - give them a point, anything to decrease their odds at the top pick because no potential young star should be subjected to that shithole of an organization.

I am currently reading Chris "Knuckles" Nilan's book "Fighting Back". He was a complete nutjob and admits to it in the book. I am about half way through it, at this point he has been in the league a couple of years, at the '82-'83 season. The stories he is telling are bringing back some memories. The Habs were not having a great deal of playoff success then, but those '80's teams were pretty good just the same.

His first meeting with James "Whitey" Bulger was an eye opener! Yikes!
