  1. Quick update. Definitely feeling concussion symptoms as they come and go. The back is OK, the head has a mind of it's own. Taking 10 days off from work. Will try to stay away from the computer screen more now. Weirdest thing is noise, any kind, gets to me. Have FHFun.

Get well man! We need you more than the Habs need Carey!

    3. Hope you're on the road to a swift recovery. Reduce the brightness of your monitor, and if you want to escape excessive noise, maybe go down to the phone booth for tonight's game - should be brutally quiet as Stamkos and the Bolts use their rest from last night to put a whupping on our Petry-less Habs D

  2. Bolts crushed by the Turds...so I expect a Habs loss tonight. Hope they surprise me. 2/3 of the way to removing my Expos avatar.

Same lineup I assume, since the genius of eMTy won them 2 in a row. The young 'D' will remain in the box. That'll learn them for making mistakes. eMTy knows best. Don't 2nd guess.

GYMFHG! Not sure I can watch tonight, but I'll never stop CHeering and will never join tank nation. That's a leaf/oil thing.

    3. Saint Paddy - you just jinxed the thing. I was going to say something about the Habs only needing one more win to get your avatar changed but then thought "that would be like HNIC do when someone is closing in on one against their beloved leaf" ...so I said nothing. Good job I'm not superstitious!

To Tank or not to Tank. That is the question.

Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer the Slings and Arrows of outrageous eMTy, Or to take Arms against a Sea of leafools, And by opposing end them: to yawn, to sleep.

  6. Goes to show you can't believe a word that comes out of Bab$' mouth, he said he really loved the plyon. Gotta wonder too that with Sens self-imposed cap, if the leaf are retaining salary.

...as I was typing, LeBrun reports no salary retention.

Crazy trade, Turds trying to climb back in the race, this may force MB to make a move. Over at CTV somebody posted on Brian Wilde's twitter that Lego and N8 were going to the Oil for Eberle and somebody, maybe a roll of tape and a bottle of Gatorade?

  14. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. this trade amuses me to no end

  15. Of course, the SFU is all 'Stamkos' now.

  16. Funny how some are lauding how the leaf made major 'coups' trading Phaneuf and comparing it to Clark$on. If the leaf didn't have a miracle placed in their lap by Kikoleinen (sp), with CBJ having to pay an un=insured Horton out of pocket, they NEVER would have been able to get rid of him, his contract was so bonus-laden that he was made 'un-buyout-able'. As someone once put it, giving them kudos for trading Clark$on is like giving kudos to the guy who just cleaned your floor after he puked on it. (love that, I don't think I'll ever forget that one lol)

I'm enjoying reading the twitter chatter over at CTV Montreal, specifically Brian Wilde's. Some interesting comparisons regarding the Habs drafting. I don't get too bent out of shape over the draft it's a crap shoot at best. What pisses me off is the utilization of some of the players by Habs management. What the hell is wrong with playing your young players, let them make some mistakes and learn from them? Nope, we gotta win now so we can make our owner a few extra million in the playoffs so it's veterans only for us.

And can I just say, I'll never, ever believe Bergevin again when he says you can't make big trades unless it is on Playstation games. As the leaf and turds proved today, that is complete and utter bullshit. Maybe they just don't wanna trade with you Marc. You're sleazy little deal with Arizona sure tarnished your image and left the stench of butt-man all over the Habs.

  108. Can no one rid us of DDD. Nothing agaist him. If he was our 3rd line center with no PP it would be great. If it makes eMTY happy to have him sit on his knee and drive the team bus fine. However the way eMTY uses him is beyond the pale. It is ruining the short and medium term of this team. Lego is not getting the mins needed. A player like Hudon ro Renway will never get a chance. If this was an Latin soccer team someone would have gone postal long ago. Stab eMTy in the cock.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I was listening to Wilde on Marino today, he said he spoke to an executive from the west coast who told him that DDD should not even be in the NHL that he is a fringe player. He also said he stuck around and had a chat with Lego who said he loves to be matched against'top' players, that was the game vs Draisitel (sp) so post-game he gave MT a chance to praise Lego since he played very well and basically owned Draistel but all he got for an answer was that DDD is good defensively.

      Delete
    2. the Maritimer1:39 PM

eMTy and DDD are joined at the hip. The only way we get rid of wee Davey is if the Bully gets fired. I would accept a losing season just to get rid of both of them. They are the reason I have quit watching the team. I can't stand to see him standing behind the bench anymore and I won't watch a Swiss league player taking minutes from two young, skilled centers (Lego and gCHuk) anymore either. It's insanity. I won't even read any articles that have eMTy quotes in them. I can't even listen to Max drone on repeatedly about "The Process." I'm blocking it all out. It's movie time for me these days. Hopefully I can get back on the bandwagon again some day.

I am done posting negatively about the Habs. But, they will not receive my support until that change is made.

  109. Kadri gets off with a $5K fine instead of a suspension for his throat slash gesture. It seems that if you are a repeat offender, you are more likely to get a fine or nothing if the infraction is not something major or causing injury (reference Byflen's hit on KidA). It seems that if they decide to suspend a player then they have to take into account their 'repeat offender' status in deciding the punishment, which I think is BS because in the end, one's repeat offender status actually ends up protecting them in the long run.

As I said above, I am off the Habs for Lent and I have resolved to not trash talk them and I have said my piece about "The Problem" errr... "The Process".

However, that being said, that's not going to stop me from having some FHFun trolling the fucking leaf. In an effort to get information about the sad sack losers I put leaf barf lunch on today and, lo and behold, we got some material to work with!

Host Brian Hayes, a whiny bitch if I ever heard one, talks about how since the NHL and the leaf are co-celebrating their 100th anniversarys he figured the leaf should get everything for 2017.

    1. The All-Star thing. Nope, going to LA.
    2. The Entry Draft. Uh uh, Chicago.
    3. The Winter Classic. Heh, St. Louis baby.

    2. I read that the NHLPA will have some fun with 'the richest NHL team (by revenue)' when they don't spend to the cap or what they can actually afford next year. Burying contracts, money spent on traded player contracts, burning Robidas' money, paying an injured player not to play, blowing the coach pay scale to smithereens, etc. Not to mention publicly stating they are playing to lose or in Side Show's terms 'not winning'. Funny how none of this is being reported by the complicit SFUckers.

Craig Button over at the SFUcker network has posted a list of some kind about the top 50 prospects outside the NHL and guess who tops the list? The little Swedish meatball of course, the latest saviour of the franchise and at No. 6 is the other smurf who "led" Canada to a 6th place finish at the WJC.

Hah! Have to keep the leafools interested somehow I guess.

In fairness he did mention a Hab... at #34. Another small Finnish player to be banished to the Rock at some point I guess.
