  1. Great SF Moeman, feel like exploring the planet and eating a world class sandwich. The whole Apple FBI thng in bogus. The USA spends a billion dollar a year on cryptology, if they wanted into the phone it could be done. What they really want is every phone broken all the time.

Seems there is something cooking between the Habs and the Oilers. Bargain Bergy and Dudley were at the LA/Edm game last night. They better fucking not trade N8 or I am going to be pissed!

  5. Following Friday morning’s practice, coach Michel Therien announced that Carey Price will practice alone at the Bell Centre with his equipment on this afternoon. Price is ready to progress to the next stage of his rehab process but will not travel with the team on the upcoming road trip to California.

Now that would be Karma taking a big ol' bite outta MB's ass.

  11. Great SF Moeman. Who is sitting in the donut please? I really don't care if the Habs trade the entire fucking team on Sunday night. All I wants for them to beat the fucking leaf tomorrow night. Nothing at all else matters this weekend. Nothing...not a single other thing. Just fucking win! Not a tie and OT loss. Nothing other than a regulation 2 point win will be acceptable.

  14. Based on how things with a LBI go - anywhere from. 3 - 361. There could be lees but really if you knew the real number...If I could tell you, you would understand and realise that the right number of steps is hard to say...but I can't tell you so you'll have to believe me.

    1. At least, in theory, that opens up roster spots for younger guys. Until MB trades PK for 4 guys with "character" (and 6 goals in their career).

      Delete
    2. Also, is it just me or are the Hawks involved in every trade? How do they stay below the salary cap?

      Delete
    3. Also, also: Despite Weise not being used appropriately due to the idiot behind the bench, I am grateful for what he did in the playoffs against especially the broons. He was a good add on, but it was time for him to move on. Flash did ok, too. Thanks for your service, boys. Good luck in the future!

      Delete
    4. Wait...Habs retain 30% of both of their salaries. This trade was underwhelming to begin with, but now it's just sort of laughable. In the long run it doesn't really matter. But on principle it looks like MB got fleeced. You give up two roster guys for basically nothing (which is fine, whatever) AND you keep a third of their salary? Then what's the point?

      Delete
    5. So MB is bragging that he had a hand in drafting Danault. Don't know if he should be puffing his chest out on a 1st round pick that has something like 6 points since being drafted 4 years ago. Another bottom 6 guy who is "defensively responsible". At least MB is consistent.

As someone said somewhere online, "Wow, it only took a week for MB to replace DDD". Does this mean DDD is expendable? hahahahahahahahahah...can never have too many small, bottom six under producing French centers on the team!

      Delete
  24. So MB made the deal because he was involved in drafting this kid while in Chicago. Certainly limits the trade possibilities if that's a prerequisite. According to Blob, he's a bottom 6 forward that's "beloved by coaches". Yeah, we'll see about that!

Oh well, a callup for Big Mac anyway. No BBJ though. Too bad this organization only has 2 clues. One is lost and the other's out looking for it.

    1. Hope the kid does well but I'm not a big fan of people patting themselves on the back.

    2. Same. And reminding us that you were once employed by the current best franchise in the league means absolutely nothing. Zero. Zilch. I'm losing faith in MB by the day.

      Delete
    3. Yet Chicago, with its excellent development program, has given up on him. But I'm sure MT will be able to make the kid a superstar. Oh wait, he's an undersized French bottom six player. He's already a superstar according to the coach.

      Hear! Hear!

Two things I remember most about Dale 1) The Winning OT goal against Tampa two years ago when Bargain Bin Bergy did the Marc-a-rena and 2) Scoring against the Bruins in the same playoffs then mocking Luchicken with the chest thumping. It infuriated Lucy to the point he threatened to kill Dale. Fucking beautiful. I hope he resigns with the Habs in the summer and I hope he wins a Cup in Chicago.

    2. Same from me...thanks Chip! Yeast - we hardly knew ya but you word the crest with pride...merci!

  26. I will wade in briefly - just waking up to the news...I have been saying all along that there is no point being a seller when the team is in the toilet. other teamsa know that and you get less than fuck all for whoever you want to move. Chip and Yeast for an AHLER and a draft pick probably is all they would ever get. Chicago pick will be at the end of round 1 so essentially a 2nd rounder. And the habs keep 30 % of their salaries...DGMB has seriously been reading his own reviews. Don't know anything about the new guy - i'm gonna guess from reading your comments that he's small, french and defensively rsponsible...because the habs don't already have enough of that shit going on...

Welp, Bargain Bin Bergy did his patented digging through somebody else's trash bin looking for stuff thing. Philip Danault sounds like Bournival lite, but, if Empty plays him it will keep the Rejean Tremblays silent for a bit. Despite bringing up McCarron the Habs keep getting smaller and smaller. Regarding Morgan Ellis, I recall watching him play for Cape Breton in the Q and what I remember is: he was decent sized, skated fairly well, mad a good first pass out of his own end and wasn't afraid to drop the gloves. I highly doubt fuckface will play him.

At this rate I may never watch a Habs game the rest of my life.

All the best to CHip and Flash, good, dependable players that Therrien had no idea how to use.

  28. Can't reply to posts, but I want to say @the M:

re: Weise in the playoffs vs Lucic. I think we could see a Western team, probably a Californian team, go after him this summer. Personally, I'm glad he's going a Cup contender.

Remember when we used to say the Habs were Cup contenders. Sigh.

Remember when they finished first in the East in 2008 with nothing but spare parts and idiots running the team? How can they possibly be this bad with PK, Max, Gallagher, Chuck...oh yeah, I remember now.

    1. the Maritimer7:58 AM

@Orange... The Hawks are a "Western team" that will probably meet LA at some point. I will probably watch that.

In 2008 that was a Carbo/Gainey team, I wouldn't call them idiots, they were winners, although Bob kinda went off the rails after he lost his daughter. I don't blame him for anything.

Habs as Cup contenders? Not for a long time my friend. And not for a long time to come.

Stand back in awe as Bargain Bin Bergy constructs a whole fucking team of 4th line grinders as Empty stands behind the bench and rolls them out there one after the other. Lafleur wasn't wrong.

  30. Whatever happened to all the preaCHing about CHaracter? CHip was exactly that and he loved this team with his soul. Like the Maritmer pointed out vs. the broons and Lucic. All the best to you Dale, you will surely be missed here by many and hope you end up back here in the summer.

As for the Danault, hope he does well here, but I believe it's all because of the name on the back of the jersey.

Thank you to both Weise and Fleischmann for your contribution to the team and wish you both well. At least you have become part of a quality NHL team.
