  3. I see the Leafs' young Reilly coughed up the puck with under 2 minutes left and the puck ended up in the back of his net and game over. His coach throw him under the bus? Is there outrage? Is he suddenly tradeable? No? Weird.

I'm a bit surprised that eMTy Therrible will be behind the bench. Thought MB might have eaten his words and canned him by now. But the sideshow continues. I'll keep watching with half an eye, not necessarily in hopes of victory, but for the entertaining debacle spectacle.

And as always, great SF and GYMFHTG! And T4T.

    1. Babcock: "We controlled most of the play. We made two individual mistakes that cost us. That’s just the reality of the situation." Shot at Therrien?

He also said Reilly turned over the puck, it happens. (that was right near his net btw)

  5. So they divulge that it's a broken foot, what happened to LBI? Maybe they couldn't take what Carbonneau said last night about their hiding the nature of injures.

Medical update: David Desharnais will be out 3 weeks (broken foot suffered on February 15 in Arizona).

Clear as a bell isn't it?

I told Bob Gainey when I was drafted I would do everything in my power to help the Habs win the cup. That's never changed. Will never. - PK

Subban diffuses every single question about Therrien. In other words, the usual high and classy road he always takes.

Loved his rant on 690 earlier.

  10. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

I am going to the game tonight. A friend got a couple of seats fifth row reds. I really hope it is behind the Habs bench. My friend has the loudest mouth of anyone I know and no patience and we will be drunk. I'll have on the easy to spot half half jersey so look for us being dragged out kicking and screaming

  14. Listen to the video, Therrien is just trying to save face but at the same time re-iterating what he said and blaming the 'market'. NO trou-de-queue, you chose to single him out as you have done since day one. Trust you? Never. I take the following as a further shot.

...game 7 in the same postition"
    - Well that wasn't game 7, it was game 58 in the worst season you dragged the team to since 1940 and he was the one you singled out in the ozone when 3 other players in their zone blew their coverage when the goal was scored.

..."there's a time in place, game 7, in a gold medal game."
    - I think you're referring to your lack of endorsement for him to go to Sochi and now are selling to the current Team Canada management not to select him because he can't be trusted to play in the World Cup because their roster has to be set in a few weeks...perfect timing, right Mr. Turd?

    1. ...part of the process of learning to be a good player"
      - What in the world can you teach PK? sweet FA. He may have something to learn from a coach, but that coach certainly isn't from a talentless, arrogant, egotistical coach like you.

    2. PK, alluding to the promise he made to Bob Gainey, could be subtly leaving it out there to Geoff Molson that the current GM is part of the problem? Interesting...

      - Markov did worse, did you call him out and throw him under the bus publicly? NO.
      Trust you? NO.

    2. After reading JT's latest, I am reminded of the time, a few weeks into the 1997-98 season, spotting Dave Manson, Mark Recchi and Turner Stevenson sitting together at the McKibbin's Pub; The Habs were off to a decent start under new Head Coach Alain Vigneault, and I was too shy to approach them at their booth. However standing at the urinal, I will never forget finding the courage to speak up upon seeing Manson enter to relieve himself alongside me. "Hey, you guys are off to a better start this year," I said. And in his trademark gravelly voice, he turned and said, "Yeah, makes a big difference playing for an actual coach." If ever I had previously doubted the naysayers on Tremblay's coaching abilities, that put those doubts to rest.

DDD is out 3 weeks? Cheez, that's the best news I've heard about the Habs in 3 months. By the time he gets back in the lineup the season will be over.
