    1. I am utterly amazed how they are trying to twist this as 'not tanking'. This is the biggest tank job in the history of tank jobs. It's hilarious in a sad way if you try to imagine there is a hint of journalistic integrity among the bunch of SFUckers.

Now on trade day the leauge realizes, DBMB has cornered the fourth line market. No grit available for the playoffs unless you shop at the Bell center. The best eMTY shaped grit in the world.

  8. Rumour Alert: The Edmonton Oilers are trying hard to get young defender Joel Edmunson from the Blues and in a separate deal trying to pry the young stud Nikolaj Ehlers out of Winnipeg. Chiarellis says they're big on the Edmunson/Ehlers combination. Should the Ehlers deal fall through, the plan B is to go for Montreal Canadiens' winger Lars Eller, but this would be contingent on signing his free agent, undrafted brother Mads. Stated Chiarelli "You can't have an Edmunson/Eller combo. You need two Ellers." Sounds like a perfect fit. Lego is made from plastic. Plastic is made from oil. - TSN's BLOB McKenzie.

I feel bad for you folks in the Quebec region with the crappy weather but hey, thems the breaks. You are still only getting a taste of what we maritimers went through last season. We are now reaping the rewards of that pain... today is +10 and sunny, +6 tomorrow and +8 and rain this Wednesday. As far as I'm concerned spring has arrived!

  15. Yes, I'm at work, so I don't get to watch 'the frenzy'. But I have the tracker on and I see that big Pit/Ari trade. Wow. I foresee Rogers speaking to the NHL about putting on a trade deadline deadline. So no trades allowed in the 7 days prior to trade deadline day. And move deadline day to a Friday and make a real party of it.

  17. Exciting day! Can't wait to find out if the Habs will get more undersized bottom 6s guys, or just sit still and do nothing...again! SO EXCITING!

But I did just realize today that they've got 7/8 points in their last 4 games and have won the same amount of games in their last ten as they did in all of December and January. Combined. I don't know what to think anymore. I'm sure they'll get slaughtered in California, though. Stay away Carey!

  18. La Presse reports that Lego's agent, Kevin Epp told them that DGMB told him that Lego they are not looking to trade him and the rumours are just speculation and he's not going anywhere.

«Lars ne s'en va nulle part, Marc nous l'a déjà fait savoir, a confié l'agent du joueur, Kevin Epp, en entrevue téléphonique avec La Presse. Ce qui se dit sur Lars depuis quelques semaines, ce ne sont que des spéculations, le Canadien ne cherche pas à l'échanger.»

Nobody has said anything so don't know if any of you caught it --- when I turned on the TV Petrillo, Poulin and Button were discussing the projected Team Canada roster and among the eight defencemen listed no P.K. Subban. A 30 minute a night, offensively skilled, great skating d-man who makes a great first pass is not as good as M.A. Vlasic?

This is a meaningless, nothing tournament only meant to generate revenue for buttface, the SFUcker networks and the PA. I personally had no intentions to watch it but if you needed a reason to not pay any attention, there you have it. Talk about blatant... something.

I didn't bother to tune in until noon local time, SFA happens the first few hours and it's just talking fatheads blathering for hours about nothing. I listened for about an hour, took a nap, put it back on and hit the mute button looking at the ticker at the bottom occasionally.

Yeah, the SFUckers are wet about their newest toy, they realize the leaf are still a bottom feeder shit team, but have to cater to the leafools to keep their eyeballs in place. I like trashing the leaf as much as anyone but our bottom feeder Habs aren't a whole lot better without Carey Price around for fuckface Empty to hide behind. I'm not bragging about my team to anybody since Bargain Basement/Dumpster Searching Bergy is content to collect 5th line spare parts and shuffling the deck chairs around on the sinking good ship Habs. What he's waiting for I'm not sure. There are no superstars-in-waiting in the system and he seems content to get his top 15 pick so he can draft another "defensively safe" prospect that Empty and LeEmptier on the Rock can mold into their image.

Anyway all that being said, What did Mr. B have to say at his presser? Anything relevant?

I just watched it on TSN690, essentially he said he did all could do today, always trying to make the team better, it's going in the right direction and Carey's rehab is going as expected. It's up to the young guys to "make the team themselves". Empty can't help them. Got that right.

Nobody asked about Empty. Subject verboten.
