One of P.K.’s greatest assets is his capacity to use his personality and his enthusiasm to rally the public around the projects he supports. A man of his time, P.K. shines on social media, multiplying his initiatives to raise awareness, reach out to individuals and engage the community. The press conference announcing his $10 million pledge provided the Hospital and its Foundation with tremendous exposure, with media coverage from coast to coast, throughout the United States and all the way to Europe. It also significantly increased their Instagram and Twitter followers and Facebook community. The video of P.K.’s Winter Wonderland surprise party, organized in collaboration with the Air Canada Foundation, for 50 young patients and their families did much to raise awareness about the cause of sick children.
Hey, MT, maybe PFK can make you a 'better person', nah, there's no hope for you.
Sometimes we have to endure some pain in order to get better. Like General Douglas MacArthur "I will return" when the present coach is no longer doing so. I'm a very patient guy, I can wait.
I think I have that Serge Savard/Doug Risebrough card. It looks familiar.
Might watch a bit to night to see Chucky in action. He is fun to watch.
Started watching Blunt Talk last night. Sir Patrick Stewart at his absolute best! He said in a little promo he's done things in the past 10 weeks filming that show he wouldn't do alone in the darkest room of his house.
If you haven't seen it, get the free month of Shomi just for Blunt Talk and The League. So long as you like wry, raunchy (yet very clever) humour that is.
Yes 29, I planned to take Thursday/Friday off, but I have meetings scheduled all day Thursday I can't miss and a report due on Friday. So Saturday the 19th I'm curling all day. Bar opens at 9am. I'll be making up for lost time. Might be in the dark room under the concussion protocol by noon.
I have most of the Canadiens team sets of cards starting from the 1970-71 season. The 1971-72 set with the Lafleur and Dryden rookies are among my prized possessions. That and my autographed Beliveau 1971 OpeeChee card. It sure would be nice to have some players of that caliber again. Not in Buttman's NHL though.
Man, the new Captain America Civil War trailer released today just kills it. I am stoked for that movie. My youngest son, home from university for March Break, can't wait either. It has become a family tradition for us to go to the Marvel movies together. I still enjoy it.
Hey Moeman...I had that Lemaire card when was a kid. I remember it well. Used to love collecting cards...the taste and smell of stale, flat bubblegum will never leave you. As for tonight...Just fucking win!
NHL: Habs didn't act inappropriately by trading Tinordi
"After receiving several media inquiries, Daly said in the statement Thursday that NHL teams are not privy to drug-testing results or the process until a final determination has been made."
juce gave me a + for nicknaming Danault PhD (h for habs). Matteau has no nick yet, I'll call Brown, 'Mr.' (see http://bloodygta.wikia.com/wiki/Mr._Brown).
Since Nov. 25, 2015, Montreal the absolute worst team in the entire league. That can't be all on Carey Price can it? Wouldn't the coach have to take some responsibility for that record?
I am sure glad based upon his play tonite we did not get Kane. However Mariontio said he was out until 130 and left with company last night. Which I think was pretty low blow by the radio guy
Canadiens Montréal @CanadiensMTL 2 mins2 minutes ago P.K. Subban suffered a neck injury and was taken to hospital for further testing. He has normal movement in extremities.
I'm speculating after seeing a dozen replays here...but PFK will be ok - slightly sore neck - taken off as a precaution but he flailed around a lot when he first went down. Threw of the gloves and was moving - tried to sit up initially...I am not downplaying it for a minute - it looked bad - but I sense he will be fine. Let's hope I am right.
Kevin Weekes contacted the Subban fanily and they said PK will be OK. Just under observation. Good to hear.
I read some of Stephane Richer's comments from his radio interview yesterday, and with eMpTy's treatment of PK in Colorado it's just more proof that man should not be head coach. C'mon Bergevin give your head a shake.
Dan Bylsma has more class in his little finger than the Bully. I would love for him to be head coach of the Canadiens.
The Jean Béliveau Trophy awarded to P.K. Subban

Tank it! That is all.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I not-so-secretly wish for a tank. But when I watch the game, I want them to win. Bipolar much?
ReplyDeleteOur hearts and heads are fighting with each other.
