You're right, Steve. From the sound-bite I heard he specifically said that 'he and the coaching staff' were not happy with what they saw and he seems to be blaming the players.
To be perfectly honest, my interest, loyalty, fan admiration, whatever, is precariously hanging by a thread. I haven't watched a game in over three months and it's getting easier to ignore them as time goes by. I still read about them obviously and I want them to someday be successful again , but at this moment I could care less. That is what the product of one man has done to me. If Marc Bergevin moves out certain player(s) because of his misguided loyalty to that one man, it may be the breaking point for me. If Carey Price plays out his contract and moves on or if PFK is traded for a Reggie Houle type return, I am done. I can't and won't go through another Patrick Roy scenario again where the franchise is set back another decade or more because of some fucking jerk behind the bench who has control freak issues.
It takes a lot to piss me off, but I can't stand the sight of Therrien or listen to or read anymore of his bullshit statements. Fuck him.
According to some prominent posters at Twitter t'would seem so. Too bad, another lost season and another crack at a lottery pick. Seems like MB has dug his heels in and will not let the anglo media fire his foxhole friend.
I can't believe how many that called into the radio who actually are supporting MT. They sound like delusional leafies who only know what their SFU tell them what to know.
I think we can all agree that DGMB is not a stupid man. He has his faults and he has fucked a lot up this past season...but he is not stupid. Geoff Molson pays him a shit load of money to ensure the team gets in the playoffs. When they don't he loses money. When a rich man loses money hecwill always want to blame someone. If DGMB doesn't sack Therrien Geoff Molson will have to sack both of them to save face. It's that simple. Watch what happens...there is no way this stays like this through the summer.
Lavoie says his words were twisted, he said people in the organization said they would be surprised if he was not back next season. DUH! What do you expect them to say?
Watched them vs Isles yesterday, they had a 2-0 lead till the 3rd when the Isles scored 3 unanswered, still had hopes when they were 2-0 earlier. You never know.
Opens door. Walks through room sees only juce working tonight. Also sees score 3-1 for Panthers. Ok, nothing to see here. Walks back out door, tells juce to turn out the lights when she is finished. Closes door.
Anybody see the chart/list of team's records since Nov. 25?
Montreal Canadiens.
Dead last.
No. 30.
Way to go Mr. Bergevin and Mr. Therrien. Many thanks from Habs fans everywhere.
Blame the injury to Carey Price. Use it as an excuse for your No Excuses mantra. The problems run far deeper than one player's injury. Last season the New York Rangers went something like 15-3-2 without Henrik Lundqvist. Explain that Mr. Bergevin.
A little MLPIE never hurts...
ReplyDeleteLooks certian DGMB is bringing back eMTy. Timm for Mr Molson to clean out the rot upstairs.

DeleteIts very clear this season is the fault of PFK, Lego and gCHuck.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, 1 person has the job of evaluating Michel Therrien: Marc Bergevin.

Cross fingers and toes and all extremities!
