nice ones moe. Happy SF all.Nice W by CH29 last night. Nice to see mom and dad tearing up a bit.Not an iPhone guy, but I love that Cookie Monster commercial. Thanks for the behind the scenes cut..."I wish I could close my eyes". Gold. One to go. Probably won't see much of it. Just wait for the lottery to see how that pans out.
"I wish I could close my eyes"Might just be the FHF quote of the season.
One more game left. Any chance C29 gets a start? I suspect not but then again...Might watch it just to be able to say I saw MT's last ever game as a coach...but if I'm to believe Dreger it won't be...still - A man must live with hope... Great SF as usual Moeman - You have been an amazingly consistent staple of my Friday diet all year long and I think you from the bottom of my heart. What a true superstar you are - concussed though you are, you remain in tune with the true Habs Fan. And you meet our needs a hell of a lot better than the actual team does right now!. Merci beaucoup!! Go Habs Go!! And for the last time this season...Nice ones all 'round!
Thx Bro, all in FHFun.
I wholeheartedly concur. Thank you moeman!
Everything K3X said moeman. Merci
According to this tweet, there's more than MT staying brewing. I definitely want to hear what that's all about."You think you're mad at MT and MB now. Just wait until it comes out what trade they're angling for this summer. The machine is churning.BrianWilde @BWildeCTV 20m20 minutes agoMore coming with @TonyMarinaro at 10:35. Remember tho that sources must be protected. Not all info can be revealed or source is unprotected."
I heard it as well. OMG the only pair wosrse than CH and eMTy is Sean Penn and Charlize. PFK is gone, trust a history major
Great SF and seaon Moeman, but I am still fuming about this dysfuntional team. WTF can no one play this game. Close my eyes indeed (good song by Margo Timmins)
Marinaro is 50/50 that PFK gets traded. Wilde is more like 25/75 he stays. Sounds like others will go however. Next week should be interesting I suppose...
Nice SF but I have to ask --- the pic of the day? I think I know who the character is but the meaning is lost on me.Blob says if Coach Empty stays then players have to be changed, the fan base will not accept the status quo. Be careful what you wish for...
Heh.Gal+oldie goldie+Friday feeling+buzz
Also, I hope you like the Mustang pic the M.
Indeed. And that's a '66 Galaxy 500 parked on the street. My father had one and I got to drive it when I was 13, I kid you not.
Awesome. So, the M. there is rhyme and reason for all pics and songs and parodies (I haven't been motivated on the latter). I swear I thought of you when I saw that pic. There's another Stang pic coming in a future SF.
Of all of my Dad's cars (he was a mechanic and fixer-upper-reseller) was his 1968 Buick Wildcat.Exact model and colour, including white hardtop:http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/612/3389/39029194005_original.jpg
My father was a mechanic too. I can still hear him cursing Ford while tinkering on his car. Think it may have been my first exposure to cursing in French.
Wilde prefaced it by saying that if MB wants MT to stay then that says that they are both on the same page, therefore, if the problem is not the coach (since they are on the same page) then it has to be the players. He also reminded that it was Molson who put an end to arbitration and told MB to get him signed. The gist of it is they are looking to trade PFK. "A powerful machine is at work", they want to test the waters on any backlash that may occur. (Probably same reason it was leaked that MT will be back.) That tells me he means the same 'machine' that has been rallying all along that MT deserves another chance because he didn't have TFS. I have heard that machine grinding its gears about PFK for a while now. The machine has 2 buttons, 1 says RDS and the other says TVA (then there's the newspapers). They started with 'discontent' in the room angle a while ago. I've already heard that same machine lately mention that PFK is not untouchable as recently as last night. GAGnon is one of the leaders.I agree with Wilde that if there is a problem in the room and lack of leadership, then that falls on the coach who is supposed the 'father' and leader for all of them. I also believe that MT wants to have that in the room and has been festering it by his treatment of and discontent that he always projects to PFK. Players see that and that can sway a few who may be influenced by what he coach is doing. MT wants that in the room so he can say 'PFK is a problem and needs to go". I truly believe that he hates PFK that much, so much that he will put that above the success of team. MT knows that one day he will be gone so he doesn't care about this team's future when he's gone and he knows MB has his back and if that changes later when he screws up the team again and gets fired, he will still have a paycheque. I truly believe his ego is that big.
Well said juce but PFK ain't leaving the Habs on a fuckup like MT2's terms. Also, see Rocket Richard riots.
If they trade PFK, then this team will be dead to me.
It does look like a Subban trade is imminent, which would be a PR disaster, no matter who is returned. If Geoff Molson knows anything about this market, he will quash it. If that requires replacing the whole head office, so be it. These guys are flunkies
I can't see it passing Molson's desk for approval.
Could Bargain Bergy and empty convince Molson that the team is bigger than PK and he has to go for the greater good? If this troika is even considering this then it would have to be a trade of monumental proportions because there are massive salary implications here. It would have to be a forward of Crosby-like status and of a similar age as well. Anyway, I'll believe it when I see it.
PFK is our best defenseman and DGMB said it all starts at the D.

Hoping for the best.https://twitter.com/smithpelly23/status/718503121782239234
I can rationalize eMTy returning, I can rationalize trading PFK to achieve a more balanced team, I cant rationalize DDD.
I am eagerly anticipating BB's post season review. Will any of the journalists have the courage to ask about the PK/Max/empty rift? I won't have a lot of faith in anything they have to say. Probably just more cliches and drivel. The Habs have become more secretive than the old Soviet Union.
