  2. the Maritimer said " If MB trades PK and keeps eMpTy I am done."

You can count me in on that, the Maritimer, whether MT stays or not. PK and Price are the best thing to happen to this organization in decades and if they can't see that and piss away elite talent that other teams would kill to have then they don't deserve to have any fans.

I heard on the radio today that a scalper said he put 4 Habs tickets on his windshield then went to the game, when he came out there were 14 tickets on his windshield.

    1. There's a reason this blog's (mast)header has both TFS™ and PFK placed next to the centered CH logo. Don't fuck with it.

      Delete
    2. Also, what he does for this community and the CHildren's hospital. PK sells the game like only a handful of players in the league can and he does with flair and passion which is unsurpassed. Some don't like that, some think he should be a cardboard cut-out and make the usual dull, robotic post-game interviews but why should he? His father always told him, be yourself, don't try to be someone else because that job is taken.

    3. Bonus is why he CHose #76 and promised to parade the Stanley Cup in the middle of the centre of the universe.

      Delete
    4. Amen to that. I was off the bandwagon from the time Roy left town til the end of the Houle era (In Bob We Trust), and if PK were traded away, it would be equally devastating. I don't think Geoff will allow it.

    5. @moeman:

Thank you! I did not know this: “I was drafted in the sixth round in junior, which is why I originally wore the number 6, so I kept part of that in my number here,” Subban says. “The 7 is because I was drafted in 2007. There are a lot of different reasons why I wear it, but my dad’s main reason is that if you flip the 6, it’s a 9 like Markov. It’s funny, of all the Habs players in the team’s history, other than Ken Dryden, Andrei Markov is probably my dad’s favourite player. He’s a huge Markov fan. He gave Marky a huge hug the last time he saw him after a game. I wish I could have seen that with my own eyes!”

Let's hope Dubois doesn't turn out to be another Eric Chouinard or Louis Leblanc.

I want one of those Finns, maybe a bigger version of Saku.

Now that I think of it, all those names I listed last night that got traded away, letting Saku walk away was another colossal blunder by the CH in my opinion.

I hope he doesn't hit Luke Green from behind again. I'm sure Luke has that logged in his memory banks. Should be a fun series.

  16. Oh give it a rest. 690 reports 'a good source' PK was out till the wee hours of the night when the Habs lost 5-0 in Ottawa. SO WHAT IF HE WAS? If you can't play hockey does that mean you can't sit somewhere and enjoy yourself? Do you have to be confined to house? He skates like a devil in practice but he can't go out? Marino likes to feed the fire and give his counterparts on AC something else to trash him about.

      Delete
    3. l'affaire Subban is Marinaro's label for what some of the conspiracy theories are and he insists something is fishy. Fried Man is cited for the knee thing. Here's what he wrote on 30 thoughts March 29.

"20. Expect Team Canada to start pursuing players for the world championships. First priority will be to those on the World Cup “watch list,” which is why, as John Shannon reported Saturday, Taylor Hall should be one of the first announced. (Connor McDavid, too, but he’s playing for the Team North America in September.) P.K. Subban told intrepid Montreal correspondent Eric Engels he’d like to go, too. I mentioned this to another player, who pointed out that he and his teammates noticed the defenceman wore a knee brace for a few games prior to his neck injury. Interesting. Let’s see if that prevents Subban from attending."

I wouldn't put too much into it hey way PFK's been skating at practices, knee seems fine to me.

That’s my political background. That’s what I believe in in life, but that’s not the way the league is run. So let’s fix that first and then we can get into the draft.”

Besides, the TV show does not follow the books exactly so it could be anyone, except Rick and Carl just because of what Negan said during that scene. PRESS RELEASE

MONTREAL – Canadiens’ general manager Marc Bergevin announced Tuesday that goaltender Carey Price will not return to action this season. The decision was made last night by the Canadiens’ medical staff, head team physician Vincent Lacroix, head orthopedic surgeon Paul Martineau, with Marc Bergevin and Carey Price.

“Now that Carey Price’s season has officially ended, here is a detailed description of his injury: Carey sustained a medial collateral ligament injury (MCL sprain) to his right knee on November 25th, 2015 in a game against the NY Rangers. The MCL provides support to the inside of the knee and is essential for stability and knee function. Acute, isolated MCL injuries are managed without surgery. Rehabilitation treatments lead to full functional recovery. The recovery process can be long in the case of an elite netminder such as Carey, due to the high demand placed on this anatomical structure by modern goaltending techniques. Although Carey has made excellent progress and is very close to being able to return to competition, he has not presently been cleared to do so. He is expected to make a full recovery over the off-season. This injury was not the same as the one he suffered earlier this season (October 29th at Edmonton), nor in previous years,” said the Canadiens’ head physician, Dr. Vincent Lacroix.

The Canadiens also announced that the following players will also be out for the remainder of the season due to injuries: P.K. Subban (neck), Mark Barberio (concussion), Victor Bartley (groin/broken foot) and Lucas Lessio (right knee).

My question to the Habs' brass: Now was that so hard?

  84. Scott asked the Canadiens if he could take his jersey home with him.

"I wanted to have it," he said. "It'll go up in my basement, it's one of the special ones. (Being the) Canadiens, obviously, it's got a lot of pull behind it. It'll be a good jersey to look up at when I hang it up."

    2. its ridiculous that PFK is not nominated and should be clear winner of King Clancy. No other athele in North America has done anything close to the Childrens Hospital

  86. Of course its great tanking to keep PFK and TFS out of the lineup. We got a lock on number 8 and if AZ can win just one we drop to 7. Peirre is ours.

  87. Watched the 29 clip, nice defense of freedom. Man goverments can be total asshats at times. I am pretty sure Harper was blocking millions of Canadians from going to my site. I'm sure when JT gets around to removing the blocks I will get the audience I deserve.

  88. 'Price confirmed that he also hurt his MCL when Kreider ran him in the playoffs.' No surprise there, Kreider was the root of all evil. Nothing gave me more pleasure when TFS planted him to the ice behind the net and gave him the stare-down.

I predicted Sideshow would last three futile years. One down.
