  5. First we had CHocula who did not like anything outside a turtle shell, then the Cuny who could not speak and now eMTY who believes keeping the team offbalance makes it more likely to come right side up when the wave hits. Just a suggestion, play old time hockey, let TFS stop the puck and worry about putting it past the line in the other net.

I thought the best coach they had in a long, long, long time was Carbo. Still can't figure out what happened there. Before that Demers.

      Delete
    2. Carbo says he would coach them again if he was asked. I was actually shocked when they let him go. Someone reported that it was because he gave the finger to someone in the media. Stupid reason if that's true.

      Delete
    3. the Maritimer7:42 PM

The middle finger episode was back in the mid-90's when he was still a player. He was traded thereafter to St. Louis I think.

    4. i was devastates when BG relieved carbo. it wasnt any of those reasons. BG was fed up with a slow start (after carbo had just landed the presidents trophy) and decided it was an opportunity to jolt the team with himself behind the bench.

What a beautiful day, I was outside this afternoon in t-shirt and carpenter pants and 1) Washed Mrs. Maritimer's van 2) Raked a ton of leaves into the woods 3) Burned a bunch of old scrap wood in my fire pit. Believe it or not I saw a wild strawberry blossom on a plant near the back of my house. In November. Global warming or what?

Habs being outshot 11-5 in the first, the empty system at it's best. Dumbest coaching staff in the league employing the worst system with too many smurfs on the team. Is Geoff Molson drunk all the time?

Price should be suing his teammates for non-support.

Weak group of forwards and a static set of defencemen who are probably told to "stay back", no rushing, no pinching, no nothing. No wonder PK got his ass kicked out of town.

      The election is more watchable.

Meh, people were afraid when Ronald Reagan won but he ended up being one of the best Presidents ever. The Iranians weren't long releasing the hostages once he took over. He kicked a few dictators asses along the way too.

Relax people, the sun came up this morning and the stock markets will recover, they always do. This is just a cycle, the Democrats weren't going to win no matter if the Republicans ran a mannequin out there. The American people were tired of Obama and by extension the Clintons.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. True, just an aside the hostages were released because GWB made a secrect deal to delay the release. Love or hate him Trump has been a major sucess, the first one to be President since Eisenhowser. In my book RR set in motion all the bad things that have now been addressed by the voter with the election of Trump. He was one of the most effective, but worse Presidents ever.
I am cautiously optomistic Trump will bring his biz accumen to the White House and be content with making a Trillon dollars over the next four years.

  64. AF supposedly wants to manage the amount of games TFS starts yet doesn't seem to care that he faces 40+ shots per game. Basically, he left Inigo out to dry yet still overworks his starter. Next injury TFS suffers is totally on AF. But he's not worried because fans at his grocery store tell him he's doing great.

  65. the Maritimer8:59 AM

    Heh, heh.

Desharnais, 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, 0 shots on goal, 0 hits, 0 blocks, 0% in the faceoff circle.
Nine games in a row without a sniff. I didn't watch much of the game but I remember him whiffing a nice setup by Auto.
