Don't look now but the mighty Habs are no longer 1st overall in buttman's league. The Chicago Black Hawks have reeled them in. Good, they don't need the added pressure of trying to live up to those lofty expectations while trying to figure out how to score goals. eMTy's wet dream of winning 0-(-1) lives on.

The Habs have not won in San Jose since the last century when Saku was still Captain. I see no reason for that trend to change, hoping for the loser point.

    1. PatCHes has scored at least once against every team except the Sharks. Maybe if he scores tonight it will get them stop the clock at 17yrs. Maybe.

    2. you beat me to the punch with the DDD gif against the boards.

  3. Great SF Moeman and I think we will be pounding sand tonite. I hope no one gets Sand in the Vasoline cause they should already have it, Talking Heads esq.

  4. Per TVA PatCHes will have about 15 family members including his grandmother who will be watching for the first time. I guess he needs the added pressure.

  5. I got a feeling they win tonight.

Sharks and #Habs come out to 'Little Bones' by the #TragicallyHip. Nothing short of awesome.

  8. That's one helluva long delayed penalty, seems like it will be almost as long as the PP for the Sharks.

  9. Not. Playing. Well.

    1. Not to put too fine a point on it, but one of these two teams were in the Stanley Cup finals a few months ago and the other failed to make the playoffs. Sharks are well aware. Habsn neednt be, and perhaps CK will mention that in the first intermission.

  10. DDD passes the puck directly to a Shark, AC will tell us how great he is.

    1. He did hustle to get back and undo the damage he caused. As much as I want to replace DDD,... that counts. GHG

  11. That feeling I had is quickly fading.

  12. Sharks want this one. We have weaknesses and they are being exploited,

  14. 2-0 with under a min in the 1st.

  15. When they scored the last goal, why did CHe 'score' into TFS's net immediately after? Can't be something a goalie likes?

  16. Might have to go back and finish off The Crown - makes QE2 seem human-like. one episode to go and this is Lithgow at his apex, actorly-wise. It is so well made I am almost glad she is our Head of State, which I find utterly revolting from a punk aesthetic pov - so conflicted! Thank God for the Habs, GYMFHG!

  17. Denis Gauthier says the amount of PleXXXe's ice time will cause friction in the room. I don't remember any of them ever saying that about DDD.

  36. So much for a Habs PP, PatCHes gets 2 for slashing.

    1. Enough of the foxhole love. MB has always said he will do what’s best for the team and it is obvious he needs to rid the CH of Empty. Player deployment is brutal. He treats DD like his son on a PeeWee team. Deployment sucks. The system sucks. His bullying of the kids sucks. It’s time. Please.

  46. Ouf. Hard to stay awake.

Would two more losses on this road trip force DGMB to unfoxhole his buddy?

  48. Got home late (for me) & drunk. Enough to see the 2nd goal curse and hit the hay. Fuck the west coast unless it signals the end of AF..then bless the west coast.

Regarding SF, underboob, sideboob, or total boob (AF)? Your fave? Least fave? Discuss.

  49. I may have mentioned that the husband of my work colleague, our Vice Dean of Research (because I do research) passed away a few weeks back. He lead a very interesting life and FWIW he fought Franco as one of the resistance and yes he even met Ché, twice.

Vicente chose to leave this mortal coil in peace with himself and all those that affected and were effected by him. His photography is sublime. My minor role in his last few years was to help him digitally archive almost 200000 photos, some from the Caribbean, the Columbian revolution and his life in a turbulent Spain that simply blew my mind. He was a photographer of and for the people.

  50. You'd think that the Canucks and the SFU's leaf were going to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals tonight. Yes, I will remind the FHFaithful that the leaf has not seen a Finals since Canada turned 100. Our great country turns 150 next year. Feel free to do the math. Its FHFun.
