  1. Mads is a cool cat.

I don't imagine the golden kiniggets would take him, but SSR is on my unprotected list all day long.

7 forwards 3 dmen and a goalie on the protected list.
1st and 2nd year pros automatically exempt.

    Price

    Weber
Petry (has to be due to no trade/movement clause)
    N8?

    Patches
    Ché
    gCHuk
    kidA

    1. Actually it would be a fun exercise trying to put together a hockey team by plucking one player from each team's unprotected list, while following all the rules that go along with it. Basically it's a giant puzzle.

I hope the Golden Nuggets pluck eMTy from the Habs and he can take his l'il buddy with him.

Seriously, does this coach ever take any blame when they play such a shyte game? I only watched the third period but they were fucking useless. Philly flu??

I forgot, thanks for the new thread moe, great job as usual.

I plucked this gem from one of the saner posters at HI/O:

"As usual, HIO is split about the Shaw benching. If I were Therrien (and if my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle), I’d have challenged Shaw during the 2nd intermission to “fix it”.
Instead, the team’s low intensity in the first two periods turned into no intensity in the 3rd. With the penalty, Shaw was benched for 22 minutes.
Of course, the Blenderizer™ came out because this is what Therrien does. He throws a player or two under the bus because nothing is ever his fault. Reminds me of a certain president.
I get the feeling he may finally have lost the team with this boner."

As for that last sentence, one can only hope. I believe a quick 1st round exit would be enough for Bergevin to boot eMTy out of the foxhole.

  4. Shaw was brought in to stir shit. He does the with cheap shots and interference that will draw penalties but also RETALIATION. Players can't retaliate if he is sitting on the bench. Therrien is an idiots. End of story. Great SF btw. NOAR

    2. While I agree the team needed someone who can spark the team, the penalty was totally unnecessary since the Habs had possession and his guy wasn't in the play. He's taken boneheaded penalties before, sometimes crosses the line and then he'll be on his best behaviour for a string of games during which some of them is when his shit-disturbing may be called for. But I also agree about AF. Nailing him to the bench that long was a bit over the top. Shaw needs to pick his moments a little better.

  5. Tremendous SF, the best one in the world, I tell you folk we have the best SF. Great Trump pic, phonebooths how will we live without them. Not to nit pick but beauty and the beast as in swapmonster you forgot.

I still feel pretty good about the team. The key will be getting big M in the lineup to help with the size thing, and finding a new home for DDD on the same theme.
