5 losses in a row coming up.

In other news, we are expecting 30-40cm of snow starting late this afternoon.

Moey, are the Bahamas nice this time of year?

  6. Per Marinaro, Dany Dube of TVA saw BBB go into a meeting with PatCHes, TFS & BBQ sans AF and reportedly met with him later.

  7. AF playing with fire when you pissed of your meal-ticket.

    - After the stare-down he told TFS to just be happy with stopping pucks.
    - Ripped Shaw for the penalty leading to the tying goal vs the Pens.
The players didn't appreciate that and detest him more than ever.

    - Ripped Shaw again after the Caps game.
    - «Sans être méchant avec M. Therrien, j’ai parlé avec bcp de joueurs qui l’ont côtoyé. Il n’est pas très apprécié dans la chambre» - S. Gagné - I spoke to many players close to MT. He is not liked by the room.

  8. Markov isn't far from retirement and will have plenty of time to spoil the hell out of those boys and his little girl too. All the best to the entire clan.

Re: AF - I've stayed as true as I can to promising not to bash him or BBB, but it's not easy. It 'seems' from the outside looking in that the players aren't fans of his style (or lack thereof) of coaching. If that's the case, can BBB then grow a pair and tell the Quebec media that he will insert the 'best coach available' despite his language? Could possibly be a francophone. Could be an anglo. Could be Russian. Don't matter. Best. Coach. Period. If the players have indeed quit on AF, and if he must go, can GMMB do that? Time will tell and I'll not pre-judge.

    gymfhg. doesn't deserve caps.

    1. Molson would also have to grow some to support that but owning a business and fears of boycotting his products has stopped him before, we saw the threats just because Cunneyworth was named interim prior to the hiring of BBB then AF. Wasn't there a PQ minister at the time who threatened not to have Molson products at Montreal festivals. or was that just rumour? I don't remember.

  9. AF's cronies latch onto his comments and now the 'analyses of recent days' mime that gCHyuk's not good on faceoffs and enhance that with how poor gCHyuk is defensively, etc... Perhaps the players are experiencing deja vu of last year and how he can use those cronies to support him and don't want to see another player run out of town. It was said only yesterday, I think, that if he gets axed when they are 1st in the Atlantic that the media would go crazy over it because he has lots of friends in the media, but I can't remember who said that right now but all the shows I watched all repeat 'they're 1st in the Atlantic' to justify his position. But, if he really has lost the room and the team doesn't want him AF's cronies won't be able to save him. TFS is the leader of this team and it seems, at least to me anyway, that his whole attitude and demeanor are different for some reason. I don't just mean on the ice, but he seems to have a malaise in general. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows. You just don't tell your meal-ticket, your system to just go stop pucks.

  19. I was flipping between games and Sens get a delayed penalty vs Dallas so they pull the goalie and while go up the ice Jiri Hudler, I think it was, passes the puck behind to the invisible man and scores on his own net. Ouch.

  28. SNet has to ruin everything. Ad for Friday night CHL game states "See Leaf prospect blah blah (cuz I don't know who it is) as the Knights host the Rangers (or something to that effect)."

Not once have I ever heard "see Sens prospect..." or "see Flames prospect..." I won't mention the Habs because that would be ridickilus.

  37. This is all on AF and his crew, including CK. Unless there's some rule about the puck carrier and off-side I don't know about, Domi was a clear 2 feet over the blueline before the puck on the first goal. I freeze-framed it because even during the live play I was skeptical. So unless I'm missing something and that's perfectly legal then why the hell wouldn't they challenge that? If that's not a goal, the rest of this shit very possibly doesn't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  38. This was bugging me about the first goal. I knew there was some sort of rule about it. I think he had control.

However, a player actually controlling the puck who shall cross the
line ahead of the puck shall not be considered “off-side,” provided he
had possession and control of the puck prior to his skates crossing the
    blue line.
