  1. When I'm not having a whistle-dog (relish, yellow mustard, cheese) I love a good hot dog with just ketchup.

Also, too, I miss the old Forum steamés. Flattened/toasted bun, split dog. Two bites, maybe three.

I generally don't eat hot dogs anymore. If I'm going to eat mystery meat, I prefer a good sausage in a bun with just mustard, s'il vous plait.

Doing lots of reading about the Trade Deadline, I don't think Bargain Bin does anything crazy despite what BGL says. They are what they are, no miracle trade id going to help them win a championship. When you look at the talent on Pitt, Caps, BJ's, Rags and that's only the East, you realize how shallow the Habs are in really good players. Plus how small they still are. Meh, grab a wild card spot and play 5 or 6 games in April, make Geoff some extra coin and call it a season.

I'm actually glad that BB didn't throw all those futures to Phoenix for a rental. Maybe the Habs will find a Jamie Benn in the depths somewhere. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. ;-)

  6. I put ketchup on most beef, hotdogs of any flavour, every kind of patatoe except backed, eggs, bacon, some second day pastas. I am currently a big French's fan, but generally buy anything but Heinz because for shafting Canada (pickles first and then ketchup later) I am boycotting them. The pickles may have been bicks but its not that important I get the target right as long as I protest.

  7. Love my buns toasted but I like steamies too. Never ketchup for me.

    3. 5.5 for 4 more years. Might mean no CHe resigning. Of course, Davey's 3.5 will be off the books. But then gCHuk will be in for a raise even if he isn't playing to the level we hope/expect. Not an easy job as Bergy will tell you.

  12. My daughter's BF just dropped off some fresh bread he just made.

He's top sous-chef at 400 Coups in Old Montreal, http://www.les400coups.ca/en

He picked up the Valentine's Day gift for him and my baby girl, some The Hip red and white and some Ghirardelli chocolates (salted caramel). He's a huge Habs fan.

Funny story, when I first met him some 10 years ago, he mentioned he loved my Habs comments at the old cbc blog/discussion board (since shutdown because of too many jabs at crotch). I coined mclame there.

So the Dumpster Diver had to fork over a 4th round pick to Nill to get him to take Plaid and his unhappy Mrs. off his hands. Does that mean he would have to give up a 1st rounder for somebody, anybody to take DDD?

Thanks for the update juce. Does anybody believe this team is going to make the playoffs? Will Bergevin survive another collapse? Actually, he has another built in excuse, he can say that CJv2 needs a full season at the helm to make things right. Right. Like Jack Nicholson (as the Joker) said in the Batman movie: "This team (town) needs an enema."

OK Moey, even I would admit they'd have a chance if Sid showed up on their doorstep.

But I don't think a few "tweaks" are going to put them over the top. Reconstructive surgery? Probably too late for that. Whatever, maybe we get to watch a little spring hockey but I'm not getting my hopes up just to have them stomped on later.
