I'm heading out to the Sea Dogs game tonight. When I get home I'll be looking forward to moe's bullet points of the SFU pre-game sploogefest. I'm sure mclame and his panel of idiot leafools will be making up all kinds of excuses for their leaf if they do the pratfall against the probably Sid-less Tuxedos.

    S Q U I R M !!

    ReplyDelete
  7. So is anyone else worried that the Habs potentially go into their playoffs on a. 3 game skid? Me neither...just fucking win!

    ReplyDelete
  8. SFU were awfully 'concerned' that the Habs would consider playing TFS after they clinched. Haven't heard them express this about any other player that continued to play after clinching. Nice of them to be so worried for TFS.

    SQUIIIIIRRRRMMMM!

  12. Side note #1; By not playing an entire line up, PIT is basically laughing at the SFU’s team
    - pre-game video almost all leaf
    - mclame says Blabs has turned around things, splooges leaf dynamic duo
    - says bob cold in DET is a nice touch, (according to who?)
Side note #2; bob cold should go the way of the ‘Joe’
    - mclame quotes cold, too stupid to mention
    - they show out of town early games, go straight to their leaf
    - panel kinda finds glee in Pens injuries
    - mclame and kypreosuck dig deep, really deep for their leaf issues
    - kypreosuck looks worried
    - hahahrudey jumps on the bandwagon ‘play free’
    - mclame sounds very worried, asks fried man for support, he gives it
    - fried man yips about ROW, he shouldn’t have as it doesn’t help their leaf
    - they squeeze the math to prop their leaf
    - Blabs yips his bro-mide to christine nepotism simpleton
    - Blabs yips Tony Robbins type crap trap ‘play fast’
Side note #3; almost 10 minutes, all leaf
    - Blabs won 1 Cup with a stacked team and yips like he is Scotty Bowman
    - kypreosuck is concerned about Matthews but says he won’t be rattled
    - huge son and simpleton asked to comment, nothing but nothing leads to nothing
    - simpleton says the Pens have ‘proved they’re in’
    - huge son repeats a Blabs bromide
    - hahahrudey says cadre has garnered ‘league wide respect’, calls him beautiful
Side note #3; 12 minutes, all leaf
    - some wet behind the ears hairdoo’d dude has a say about the Habs, why
    - mclame sucks bob,cold
    - kypreosuck is asked about ‘the goals’ (check the standings putz)
    - fried man yips about Chuck along with hahahrudey (about SSR and KidA)
Side note #4; less than 4 minutes of pure SFU shit about the Habs
    - mclame is all wet about DET zamboni driver (this guy gets more air time, literally, than the CH)
    - mclame is really moist, they go to their leaf ‘to figure it out’
    - mclame says some kid ‘looks like Auston Matthews’. Weird.
    - christine nepotism simpleton squeezes Boyle for leaf positivity
    - she putridly squeezes the issue as a leaf fan, for leaf fans, 100% unprofessional
    - hahahrudey tries to put Andersen on a leaf goalie pedestal, it is a low pedestal
    - fried man yips about Kessel, makes fun of him, it wasn’t funny
    - kypresosuck looks for leaf answers, says do it early, wants quality minutes
    - mclame says Marner has a Mem Cup and yips the stupid Bonjovi garbage
    - hometown hockey commercial, wendel clark, bob cold, surprised?
Side note #4; 75%, if not more of their show was about their leaf
… and of course they go out and into a pre-game 100% leaf with BonJovi and a leaf montage, they are extremely desperate
    - mclame, and I quote “two points and WE are in the playoffs”

Here’s a prayer for the lame SFU; Go Fuck Yourselves!

    ReplyDelete
  13. One last shot; mclame said come back and we will feel the ACC atmosphere. They come back and there is almost zero atmosphere. Shove that CotU atmosphere up your SFU asses, you asses.

  63. I guess I am the lone FHF who is glad the leaf made the show. First it eliminates a merican team, always a plus in my NHL. I live in Ontario and the goodness of having Toronto in the playoffs will add a point to the GDP. Second its likely we will meet them in round 2. I love the smell of cognitive dissonance in the morning. If you thinkaboot it sports was the origin of fake news.

While I'm here, let me add my thanks and gratitude to moe, for the keeping the friendliest, best anti-leaf blog on the internet going. It got its origins from HabsFan29 and his 3 cohorts whose schtick was strippers, meth and lots of Habs angst. Poor Breezer, the Hip wrote a song about him "Locked In the Trunk of A Car".

I caught the end of the leaf game, the SFU were giddy with delight. Remember a few weeks ago, hnit was showing a leaf game, they lost and they couldn't break away fast enough to a Calgary game that was starting or finishing. Then last night the Old Crotch and his sock puppet mclame stuck around to celebrate "their" victory. It was amusing, Crotch bellowed out: "We always cheer for Toronto!" I got a kick out the sheepish grin on mclame's face and the little nod, where he was probably thinking: We're not supposed to but... OK. Then, they kept showing all the leafools celebrating outside the ACC, you'd think they won the Cup! I hope we (Habs fans) never stoop to that level, although there were several times this past season I was cheering for a loser point. How sad is that? Welcome to buttman's Parity Hockey League.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Hope those young leafs aren't too chafed by game 1. They'll be 'busy' with the SFU twixt now and then.

Well, Sergio made a save there. He still has a shot only 2 strokes down.

Super nice gesture by Matt Kuchar after he aced the 16th. Signed the ball and handed it to a kid with a Sam Snead hat on at the green. That was one surprised young lad.

  85. Whilst lounging, there was a preview of Historia and I set the pvr to record the mini-series Béliveau and decided to watch the 2 that I had. In the series opening scene he arrives at the hospital to visit the kids. Later, he's told that they were going to celebrate his 500th goal by writing a check to the Canadiens and giving him a caddy. He tells them could they write the check the the children's foundation, says they would and how about that cadillac too? 'Ok, you always do things your way, Jean." Of course, after only 2 episodes, the preview finished. Maybe it will be widely available later or make it onto the English History channel, cbc or somewhere else. The series is very well done, I think. Couldn't find a video of the opening scene but here's another.

    Ha ha ha. leafools...

"One year removed from no Canadian teams qualifying for the NHL post-season, five are in this year, and the asking prices for tickets to their first home games ranged from the shockingly cheap ($64) to the stupidly expensive ($50,343), according to StubHub's figures on Monday.

Not surprisingly, the request for an amount higher than the average Canadian income is for the Toronto Maple Leafs' first home contest, which is Game 3 of their series vs. the Washington Capitals."

    ReplyDelete
  107. It's really amusing (not) how the often media sides with/defends the team when it comes to some player decisions. A lot of 'needs to change his attitude', 'no work ethic', 'thinks he deserves' 'has to put the work in', 'makes mistakes', not good defensively', etc... about gCHuk. New one is the goals he scored, take away the OT bla, bla, bla, so now 5v5 goals are only bla, bla, bla. '5 years in the league', they make it sound like he was at one position for 5 years and failed but was being bounced around the roster.

Let's disregard those 6 GWGs without which, if my math-challenged brain is correct, meant 12 pts for the team in the standings where they would have sat with 91pts, holding the 2nd wildcard spot (where the leaf currently are with 95pts) in the division i/o 103 pts and 1st in the division with home ice advantage. Kid had 30 goals last year and before his injury he sat with some of the top scorers in the league. I am not saying he is the sole reason they are where they are but the media is portraying him leaves me shaking my head. gCHuk - 2016-17 scapegoat.

  109. First of all...Like all the other FHF on here.....Moe your dedication and work on this blog is outstanding. I don't often comment, usually due to the fact that I'm working during game time, but I read it daily and usually get a better perspective of the game than any newspaper account. And I don't think any news service could compete with Sexy Friday. Many thanks!!!

I was listening to some Hip on the way to work and...
With all due respect to Gord Downie and the Tragically Hip, Canada's best ever group...

They shot a hockey puck, in my hometown
All FHFans were watching, from miles around
Out at the Forum, some kind of Ghostly thing
Well I ain't no hockey star
But I can get behind anything
Yeah I can get behind anything

Get it out, get it all out
    Yeah stretch that thing
Make it last, make it last
Least until the Centre Bell rings
Well the CJv2 likes his rhythm
    TFS likes the stops
Throes of passion, throes of passion
Well nothing can throw him off

Well, sometimes the faster LB gets
The less you need to know
    But you gotta remember
    The harder BBQ shot gets
The further Habs are gonna go
When you blow at high dough
When you blow at high dough

    WOO!!
    Baby I feel fine
    I'm pretty sure it's genuine
It makes no sense, no it makes no sense
But Moe will blog about it anytime
Whoever fits her usually gets her
It was the strangest thing how Habs moved so fast, moved so fast
    Into those Stanley Cup rings

Well, sometimes the faster KidA gets
The less you need to know
    But you gotta remember
    The smarter Vodkov gets
The further Habs are gonna go
When you blow at high dough
When you blow at high dough

Now at the Centre Bell, same Ghostly thing
Well I can't catch her, but I can get behind anything
Yea FHFans can get behind anything
Well WE can get behind anything

Well, sometimes the faster it gets
The less you need to know
    But you gotta remember
    The smarter it gets
The further Habs are gonna go
When you blow at high dough
When you blow at high dough

    Yeah, blow at high dough
    Blow at high dough

Out on Ste.- Catherine, some Parade thing

    1. One less thing for the SFU to complain about (for their team).

  112. The SFU actually writes this kind of shit;

Mike Babcock believes. There is forceful intent behind each of his waking moments, an attention to detail and preparation that gives him confidence every challenge will be met with a favourable outcome.

One lucky Cup on the back of Lidstrom and Yzerman and stacked Olympic teams.

  113. If you think tsn is any better, don't hold your breath. The Habs play tomorrow but gino ragu leads off the first 8 minutes of their show talking leaf and splooging, of course. They then gave the Habs almost 3 minutes, almost all of it about cryder hitting TFS™. They showed the clip 9 times, the 8th time in slow motion and then went straight to cryder who smirked that the NYR has a great skating coach and he has sharpened the edges on his skates. Really fucking funny.

      Saw that POS. Fuck him.

tsn and snot are fucking leaf cesspools but it's all we got.

  114. ... and with that I am now stepping far away from the SFU. I am but one person and they are an army of disgusting, vile, sick fucks with the sole purpose of denigrating anything non-leaf and providing shit for the leafools to fling. Truly weak, traitorous, horrible people.

Time to focus on the Habs winning 16 games, one at a time.

    G Y F H G !

Looooong time reader and sporadic commentor since the beginning (or close to it) but I just want to say thanks moeman and all the regular commentators for entertaining me on a daily basis as well as providing keen hockey insight, plus other cool stuff. This is one of the three blogs in the world I check daily. Keep it up please!

  116. The beauty of living over here means I can control my intake of SFU Bull shit. I keep it to a bare minimum choosing to occasionally browse an article if the headline appeals. Mostly I completely avoid it. Looking forward to tonight. Go you fucking Habs go!
