Yikes! I thought 4 Canadian teams would be eliminated after the 1st round, it might be all 5. buttman doesn't want any Canadian content in his playoffs. Somebody call the CRTC!!

  4. The Rags showed a remarkable discipline to team D most of the night and that included playing perfect trapping hockey for most of the third. Classic road victory recipe: a little luck and a hard-nosed defensiveness with timely amazing goaltending. It's gonna a tough battle for the CH

I agree, the Rags trapped superbly and CJv2 had no answer for his good friend AV's scheme. That being said, I find the Habs forwards are notoriously easy to defend, most of them being perimeter players. Take away Weber's point shot (which they did) and other than kidG there's nobody there for the rebound. I expect this to be a repeat of the Philthy series in 2009, shut out at least 2 or 3 times. King Lunkhead is much better than Michael Fucking Leighton.

    2. I still have to watch Season 2. The scene in the garage in S1,E8 with Mike showing why he brown-bagged in without bringing a gun was one of the best TV moments of all time.

Think the hnic broadcasters are unbiased?

    - mclame and the old crotch talking about the leaf as "we".

    - showing all the leafools in leafool square... "beautiful".

Yep, they wear their un-professionalism proudly on their sleeves.

  10. Borrowed History

    It’s April 14.
I have a hunch something significant will happen during tonight’s game.
As it usually does on this date in history.
April 14, 1969..1st MLB game played outside the US as the Expos defeat the Cardinals at Parc Jarry.
April 14, 1865..President Abraham Lincoln attends the play “Our American Cousin” at Ford’s Theatre in Washington,D.C.
He should have made other plans.
April 14, 1912..Captain E.J. Smith steers the Titanic into an iceberg
