Loved Playboy, including the toons and of course the articles.

    2. I just saw a pic of him a couple of weeks ago surrounded by gorgeous woman. The caption read "when Hef dies nobody will ssy he went to a better place". How true, he lived heaven on earth. Wanted to work at the playboy club downtown when I was young.

      Lovely cat pics moe!

Attention! Attention! All Kate Upton and Alexandra Daddario fans, there is a cute little comedy called "The Layover" featuring both these young ladies that is worth 88 minutes of your time. That is all.

  9. In non sexy news. JJCH and Big Mac are riding the tube to Laval. Scheerback seems to be the best Russian we have now. CHar will get his 9 games. Lucy Ling will send big Al packing. JDR is on a huge bubble as we try and figure out which of the 8 forth line centers to keep.

Claude Giourx rumours are all Ecky. Allegedly he likes to partie.

Most of the stiffs playing for Bergevin's Habs should be playing for Laval. A team built in his image.

  10. Dont plan the parade, just buy the floats. Mark me, JDR will score 30. gCHuck will be stripperific.
CHar will win the Norris and the rookie one. Druid, Hart, Richard, Byng and will carry the cup down St Catharines in a Mardi Gras type parade of debauchery.

Ed note- and we have not even seen the SCHlim

  11. Its revenge of the Smurfs, Gain was right all along

Detroit waived behemoth Dman Dylan McIlrath. The Rangers took him 10th overall in 2010 (Tinordi went 22nd that year)

  12. anyone else Check out Star Trek Disco? So far its like the first Star Trek movie. Full of great effects but missing a similar reason for being. I knew Kirk and Michelle Yeoh is not a Star Fleet Captian, and the number one should have stayed with the Zombies. The freaky science officer not credible. Just wait till black lives matter sees the Klingons.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. So far its OK. I expect Captain Yeoh isn't long for the STU as Jason Isaac's been shown as Captain in trailers. I like Norm MacDonald as the blob...oh wait that's The Orville, which I will also give an OK rating to because I'll watch pretty much anything sci-fi.

      Delete
    2. the Maritimer10:18 PM

Gene Roddenberry would not be cool with Star Fleet going to war in the first two episodes. Star Trek is supposed to be about meeting new civilizations, not fighting Klingons at the drop of a hat. And why are there so many rogue admirals in Star Fleet? No wonder there are so many battles.

      Delete
    3. the whole thing was "illogical"

Two things I never got to do in Vegas. Drive a race car and shoot an automatic rifle. Horrific events are now commonplace in the gun culture.

      Delete
    4. Like I say, I'll watch anything Star Trek. I even watched Enterprise with the cheesiest theme song in television history. Didn't hurt that it had Jolene Blalock...

The premise that the Klingon war is derived from what is basically insubordination of this one officer that we're presumably meant to embrace poses difficulties. But I'll await the arrival of Captain Isaacs (whatever his character's name is) and a few more episodes before giving a true rating.

One thing i've always pondered about sci-fi is why inhabitants of other planets all look alike, so in that sense I was pleased to see that there are at least different shades of Klingons, other than burnt cienna or whatever colour Worf is.

  15. R.I.P. Monty Hall.
I didn't realise how much he raised for CHarities, reports are something like a billion.

  16. Sympathies to all victims and families of the Vegas massacre. The headlines in US Papers state that 'GUN STOCKS RISE' after mass shooting. Sadly, it's only going to get worse.

I'll watch anything Trek as well. But, they'll never top Kirk and Spock no matter how hard they try. I wish they would stop with the prequel stuff though. They should have went to a time period after Next Gen, DS9 and Voyager. They can't keep retro-fitting how Klingons look.

  19. Liked Jack Todds' column in the Gazette today. I feel the same way. Too many fan haters who ruin the fun of supporting a sports team.

Here as well, what used to be fun just isn't
anymore. Too much negativity spoils it for me.

  20. I say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas and lets not ignore what the terrorists are doing. They are winning this war if you count casualties so ignore mass shooting it just like blow something up real good, some people need to do killin. We cant stop human nature so lets give averone a gun and birth and teach them how to blow away the bad guy, this will surely stop death in its tracks.

Life is too short boys and girls and you never know when it will all come to an end so I echo Moey's sentiments...and Jack Todd I suppose...lets just all be as positive as we can going forward. Unless you are a politician, keep your politics to yourself...love each other and love the Habs. Go you fucking Habs go!

  25. Just for a change of pace, I noticed Koivu the Younger signed a 2 year extension. He was drafted 6th overall in 2001. Made me wonder what the Habs did at that draft. Well it turns out, they had the #7 pick and chose (future captain was discussed in his early years!) Mike Komisarek. Oh, whatif!? Whatif the Wild didn't take Mikko and the Habs had 2 Koivus on the team in 2005? Whatif Komisarek was never beat down like a rag doll by the Pretzel? Whatif the Habs' early 2000's penchant for drafting American defencemen wasn't a thing (i'm not sure if really was, but let's pretend). Would coach CJ still be on his first stint as the Habs' coach 12 years later? Would the Habs/Broons rivalry have boiled to the extreme levels it did the past 10 years (before Pretzel left)? Would the Habs have hoisted Lord Stanley's cup once more? All questions that are irrelevant and we'll never have the answer to. But interesting. Not that Mikko is a game changing type of player, but it's the butterfly effect. One doesn't know how one small change will effect events years in the future.

52 hours to hockey. And the Pats play Thursday night (hope they've decided to field a defence). Hell of a way to officially kick off Autumn!

  26. I agree with the M we need a stripperific TMS to start the season. Its only one more sleep or as gCHuck calls it two strippers till dawn.

A dance of the seven feathers of fate. First not conner mcdavid just signed a 10 mill a year contract. GM around the league are in the bathroom throwing up. Traves is calling his yacht broker.

Montreal has abandoned the tradmarked system in favor of the committee. Montreal is now a F35 seeking to penetrate with extreme prejudice and sneak away with the cup. When being locheed martin is your Tony Robbins you have to distort reality. Therefore I predict CHar will not only make the team, he will stick like spider shit to bricks, it may not be the conventional wisdom of siding, but its impossible to remove.

gCHuck will score 50 goals. The coaching staff will tweek his hockey IQ by telling him the corners and five holes you should think of as vaginas.

The Druid will be known as the petite bill. Big Al will be traded to Vegas and will wear his gear
24/7 for protection. Dish will win the Nobel prize for CHemistry.

At the deadline we go all in and get Claude Girioux for a bag of pucks.
