  1. The Styx are us. Tesla or battery cars are a paradigm shift into the future. On paper we have the one of the best cars with carburetors. While we have been building the ultimate 80's car the league has gone electric.

TFS is neutered because most goals scored in the 21st century no goalie can stop. ERGO you build a team around scoring impossible goals, not stopping the unstoppable.

NHL hockey is all pavlovs dog. There is no time to think, only react. So our team has had decades of programming to react in the wrong way. The Stink of Empty you can not get out with any cleaner, it will take time, a whole lot of money and time to make it right.

Tonite I expect we will play like game 7 of the Canada Russia series. It will not be enough.

The old adage about you have players that get you to the playoff and those that get you to the cup is bullshit. We should only have players that get you to the cup.

Superplexxe is a cup player, Lego was a cup player, CHe was a cup player, Leko looks like a cup player, Kid A is a cup player, BBQ is a cup player, Dish is a cup player, gCHuck is a cup player, Druid is a cup player, thats our core, flush the other turds and lets build for the cup.

TFS is on the bubble but the time is now for him to be a cup player. I would trade Superplexxe only because he is not going to be part of a cup winning Montreal team.

    1. I failed to mention LB, an CHud is a maybe. Of course you can not have a team of cup winners
so you have to be very careful with your top six and top four. Its Paretos law, if you can have 80 percent cup winning thinking and action on your team, you will win the cup 20 percent of the time.

  3. Everyone who reads this blog bleeds red white and blue. I know this to be true because I was injured in Montreal by a stripper who was in love with gCHuck and I swear I only said something about a Russian and she broke a beer bottle on my face. Fortunately I was in Montreal for had I been in any other city in the world they would not have found enough red white and blue blood
to replace what had been pouring out of my face.

I want to sell t shirts and want to start up something to make a contribution. So lets
start with the Habs Tank to make the future worthwile

I think I have finally purged all the drugs in my system. It took 6 days. Anesthetics, morphine, oxycontin what the fuck? What's wrong with good old booze as a pain killer? Did they not watch the old westerns when you took a shot of whiskey when they cauterized your bullet wound?

I thought the Habs falling off the cliff this early was all drug induced. eMpTy is stabbing his voodoo doll even as we speak.

What else can I say against this mostly

  6. Well I sure won't worry. I've learned the past 2 decades that the fate of my teams has no actual bearing on my life in any way, shape or form. Be it the ups and downs (mostly downs) of the Habs year after year or the Patriots winning 5 rings in the past 16 years, it turns out that my life neither improves nor declines. Point being that I'll continue to watch, cheer, wring my hands and tear out my hair when I think management has made a poor decision, give kudos for fictional good ones, and then move on with life. I've discovered I spend way too much time fretting about the fate of this team that gives me nothing in return in the end.

This is by far the best place to come and commiserate with fellow fans and it will be the only place i post from now on - ive wasted enough time on other sites (even Habs ones) and get little to no satisfaction as most of them have far too many idiots posting.

With that I say no time like the present to start a nice winning streak, so Go Habs Go.

Yes, well said indeed. I don't sweat the wins and losses anymore. I used to but what's the point? This is the most fun Habs blog out there indeed, I wouldn't even consider commenting somewhere else. I left HI/O many years ago because of the fucking knowit-alls who took the site over. I had no time for engaging in meaningless flame wars. I used to still read some stuff but all the good posters left anyway.

Sure I come on here and rant once in a while but I've never called anyone out and never would. There is too much good comedy to be found here to screw it up. That being said, time for Captain Corporate to come out of the gate hard tonight and inspire his mates. A great philosopher once said: "To BE the Man you got to BEAT the Man!"

  29. OK - so a win is a win is a win...and they needed a win regardles of who it was against. Patches scored, GCHUYK scored, Weber on the PP scored and TFS looked very good. I am happy for the moment. Bring on the Kings ad we'll know if they were serious about it all...

  30. Breaking Breaking Rumour from the great Trembly.

gCHuck has done two stints in rehab

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You beat me to it.
Tremblay is a POS. If that is at all true he may have just ruined the kid's future hockey career. As mentioned, NHL's substance abuse program is secret and if any player seeks help not even the team is told about it. I wonder who the reporter was that asked him about it last night.

    2. lets hope it makes a fairy tale ending

      Delete
    3. I hope it's a fairy tale period.
btw 'confidential' was the word I was looking for earlier. Another thought, if this is true and management was aware and told him to rehab then who was the POS in the organisation who 'leaked' it. If gCHyuk had a problem and sought help on his own, he certainly wasn't going to advertise it. If it's the former, I can only think they wanted it out there, to what end I can only imagine.

      Delete
    4. I agree, someone leaked, and gCHuck will be pissed.

      Delete
    5. I follow gCHGuk on Instagram and all summer he was posting stuff from Europe and of him training hard on the beach and in the gym so I think his mind is really in the game right now. If he was in rehab then it worked. Tremblay is a POS - the French media want GCHuk gone and will stop at nothing until it is done. If they stopped moving him around the lineup and let him play some hockey, he'd be fine. Playing him on the 4th line makes no sense to me. He needs 17-20 minutes a night. He'll score goals. That's what he does. The Habs need goals

      Delete
    6. According to the RDS POS he rehabbed twice in the off-season.

DGMB will have a presser shortly, maybe not related.

      Delete
    7. What K3X said. Scumbags like tremblay are dying to get the Nords back, until then they'll slag specific Habs and praise others. FWIW, RDS' local dolt gaston therrien praised jacques parizeau as a fashion three piece suit icon. Who in their sane mind would bother to praise such a piece of filth?

      Delete
    8. OK - so DGMutherfucker is doing a presser - because he always tells the truth at these kind of things...ha!

      Delete
    4. the Maritimer3:31 PM

Good call on the hipster look moe. Yeah, MB trots out the same tired excuses all the time but we all know it's bullshit. One thing he is right about, they are not and haven't been for a quarter of a century an elite team. He always seems to be a step behind whatever is the current NHL trend. Fleet footed puck moving defencemen are where it's at these days and he got rid of every one he had. Strange thinking. Of course he also gave $25mil to an archaic thinking coach as well just to double down.

What bugs me is that the bar has been set so low. Just get in, score 3 goals in 4 or 5 games and call it a season. Molson makes his millions, Gary takes his cut for his southern welfare cases and voila, everybody's happy except us fans that have been around a few decades who knew what winning really meant.
