Gonna find my goalie, gonna hold him tight
Gonna grab some Habsternoon delight
My motto's always been 'when it's right, it's right'
Why wait until the middle of a cold SFU night?
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day
And we know fuckin’ leaf night is always gonna be there any way
Thinkin' of wins workin' up my appetite
Looking forward to a little Habsternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and pucks together makes the team ignite
And the thought of FHF’n is getting so excitin’
BBQ rockets in flight
Habsternoon delight
Habsternoon delight
Habsternoon delight
Started out this morning FHFeelin’ so fuckin’ polite
I never thought Domini could not be caught and wouldn't fight
But you've got Uncle N8 a waitin' and I think he might be nibblin’
A little Habsternoon delight
Dish rockets in flight
Habsternoon delight
Habsternoon delight
Habsternoon delight
Please be waitin’ for Suzuki, when Meat comes around
We could make up a lot of points 'for the sun goes down
Thinkin' of wins workin' up my appetite (tacos tonight)
Looking forward to a little Habsternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and pucks together makes the boys ignite
And the thought of FHF’n is getting so excitin’
Habs and Rockets in flight !
Habsternoon delight
Habsternoon delight
Habsternoon delight
Habsternoon delight!

Missed the two goals...feed was giving me grief. All good now. Good PK
ReplyDeleteSo dinner was bangers and mash. Drinking some local IPA for now... GYFHG
ReplyDeleteKill it FFS!
ReplyDeleteGood kill!
ReplyDeleteWatching the Fox feed. It isn't too bad.
ReplyDeleteBeer time boys and girls!
ReplyDeleteCabernet here. Decent period.
ReplyDeleteBernie Federko isn't half bad as an analyst... Just saying
ReplyDeleteI have a Goose Island IPA - its OK but not slaying me so perhaps Gin is next
ReplyDeleteSo Folin is in again... Who is sitting in his place?
ReplyDeleteArmia is injured? What happened there?
ReplyDeleteKidA!
ReplyDeleteDruid !
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty goal by Drouin!
ReplyDeleteA beauty by Drouin
ReplyDeleteIs Fleury out again?
ReplyDeleteHe's feeling ill, per TSN690
DeleteDruid off KidKoho was a beaut. Second PP goal today.
ReplyDeleteLove the parody, norman, it's perfect! GYFHG!!! --SiM
Norman??? Fucking auto correct! Moeman FFS
ReplyDeleteTFS!
ReplyDeleteNot loving Folin tonight...
ReplyDeleteSuzuki!
ReplyDeleteTFS has been sharp. Nature Boy! --SiM
ReplyDeleteWhy is Wealmom the 1st pp unit?
ReplyDeleteHehehehe... Wealmom...
ReplyDeleteSolid team play today.
ReplyDeleteKill it!
ReplyDeleteGood kill... Great period... Time for some gin!
ReplyDeleteim watchin the fox feed also. is his name pronounced: peter-angelo or pet-trangelo?
ReplyDeletewealmom on 1st pp isnt that crazy eh? imho, army and whealmom are identical players. love them both, so i personally dont mind either on pp1. more importantly for me is that the pp looks fluid. it drives me absolutely bonkers when i see somebody skating around with the puck on the perimeter instead of zipping the puck like kk did to druid.
not saying tn, but for the future... should the habs be winning big, whats the reason for needlessly keeping TFS to finish the match? put in the back-up for garbage time and save carey :20 vs the next must-win.
20 solid minutes more. Defence needs to step it up and they need to be better on the dot. BBQ hasn't looked great and I don't rate Folin at all. So play offence and let's put this one away now boys!
ReplyDeleteCash it!
ReplyDeleteCash it boys!
ReplyDeleteg-dmmm broken BBQ! why cant u put it on net!? every pp, u f* it up worse than everybody who underestimates this team!
ReplyDeletebench him on the all pp rest of season!
dish + meat
reily + druid
TFS solid.
ReplyDeleteCome FFS...
ReplyDeleteFuckin d is shaky... COME ON BOYS WAKE THE FUCK UP BEFORE THEY DO
ReplyDeleteSo my recommendation if you are so inclined - Monkey 47 Gin... It. Is. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeletelike josh?
ReplyDeleteWaaaay better!

ReplyDeleteNice win boys... FUCKING NICE WIN!
ReplyDeleteStatement win.
DeleteWell thanks for that Moeman. Love me some Habbies in the afternoon. See you again tomorrow at 10 pm UK time for the Wild
ReplyDeleteTake er easy bro !
DeleteBest all around game the Habs have played this season. Two straight wins over the Stanley Cup champs, think that will rate a mention on the SFU? Heh, who am I kidding. Oh look! Guess who is ahead of the fucking putrid leaf in the standings? Bwahahahahaha.....
ReplyDeleteAnyway, solid game by Price and the forwards were sharp all afternoon. The D were shaky at times but overall played a good road game. Nick Suzuki is going to be a player and will be BETTER than marner in the very near future.
Cheers!
You know it theM.
Deletesfu give the first 16 minutes to their leaf. It was disgusting.
ReplyDeleteI'm boycotting those fucks for a while. Maybe forever.
DeleteIts on in the background. Was waiting to see the Habs mentioned. They got all of 10 seconds.
DeleteBooooooooo Bianca take that fucking ugly jacket off. You're better than that.
ReplyDeleteI'll admit giving Burkie a hard time when he was GM of the wretched leaf, but I love listening to him tell stories. The one he just told David Amber about the Tkachuk/Doughty rivalry was outstanding!! I have to rewind it and listen again. Funny as heck!!
She’s a local gal.
DeleteShe doesn't know any better
DeleteNice win, Jake Allen. Signs of life, keep moving forward. Afternoon call of the Wilde, get paradoy and one of the all time best Pop Porn soft songs. Sex Like Candy, Mrs Robinson, Hey Ya, Harper Valley PTA.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to WatCHman, hope it turns out better than American Gods whiCh soared out of the gate and just burned afterwards.
crossovers, we dont need no stinking crossovers. KidKo Joker could use a little less Zamboni time, just saying.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/dawn-braid-nhl-skating-coaches-big-read/
So dinner tonight was gammon potatoes and several veg. A nice Argentinian Malbec complimented it all. Now let's get this game started already! GO YOU FUCKING HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteLove Caution. I am always in love and it is the best way to live. Yet I know that sometimes love means saying I have lost my mind. Having a mind that is not lost and being in love, thats the goal. This version of the habs, I dont know. See what a lyric that is and explore your mind on you own, or with a partner or two or three NTTAWWIT
ReplyDeleteGI Finn out again tonight. B9 sits for Snowy, and BloCHaid in nets. looking for his first CH win. GYFHG!
ReplyDeleteR we playing the worst team in the NHL?
DeleteFox feed again for me... JFW
ReplyDeleteGood start. Fleury looks good. Ruben is solid so far...
ReplyDeleteSo that last segment was pretty shit... Ome on boys! GYFHG!
ReplyDeleteReuben looks a little too TFS casual is is play for me...
ReplyDeleteReuben has seen as many shots in this period as TFS saw all game on Thursday...
ReplyDeleteChris Fucking Lee?! Always Chris Fucking Lee!!
ReplyDeletetimpeel yesterday.
Deletethey clone bros or something?

ReplyDeleteGo you fucking Habs go!
ReplyDeleteGohabsgogohabsgogohabsgogohabsgoGohabsgogohabsgogohabsgogohabsgoGohabsgogohabsgogohabsgogohabsgoGohabsgogohabsgogohabsgogohabsgo
ReplyDeleteSo that is the first loss I am. Putting down to our backup goalie... Shame... Could have had at least a point.
ReplyDeleteHas he got an emojii for I sucked my own fucking balls?
ReplyDeleteTFS SOS SOS SOS
ReplyDeleteI watched on pvr, had to watch my NY Football Giants lose first, too bad, I was hoping for the loser point at least.,,
ReplyDeleteGo You Fucking Liberals Go
ReplyDeleteI know there is a wide opinion of habs fans. Thats mine, and I totally respect yours. Truth is no one is playing in the top six.
It's doubtful anyone will get a majority ... people will have to learn to get along.
DeleteRight wingers and Left wingers all need a center, I nominate Steve.
Waiting for election results, I spend my time reminding myself of old songs:
ReplyDeletehttp://randboro.blogspot.com/2006/02/original-song-21-emerson-fortier.html
Noice !
Deletestill angry over them giving away victory to minnesota
ReplyDeletenot angry over last nights results
Nature promoted to green jesus hab. I like the cut of his jib I just dont think he has stood out enough to be a new DDD. However lets let Jabba see who is eaten by the sandworm.
ReplyDeleteAs for the election, I am happy the evil empire lost, and its a shame they are the evil empire. My happiest thought is the carbon tax survives, legal pot and a carbon tax, will put JT in the Order of Canada Hall of Fame along with his father.
I don't consider the Conservatives to be the evil empire at all. They need to change or adapt to the next generation of voters who are tired of old style politics when your game plan is to trash your opposition or use tactics of fear. I'm tired of all that bullshit myself and didn't vote for the Conservatives which I have done all my life. The Liberals are guilty of the same thing painting Mr. Scheer as the bogeyman. I thought about spoiling my ballot but gave the system one more chance.
DeleteAnyway, Justin Trudeau got his ears pinned back last night, he will have to listen to people other than Gerald Butts and Katie Telford. Also, Steve, I think you are being facetious about cannabis legalization, which has turned out to be a farce. The politicians had dollar signs in their eyes but that was a gigantic flop. The store here in NB are basically empty, all the users went back to their regular dealers when they found out how expensive legal weed was. All the federal government had to do was decriminalize weed and get it out of the court system. They will live to regret what they did on that file. As for the carbon tax, sure, that had to be done, doesn't really bother me. I got rid of a car and bike as much as I can. I can see an electric car in my near future when they become more affordable.
The Prime Minister has a big problem on his hands with his alienation of the west, catering to Quebec and Ontario and ignoring eastern Canada, but hey, we are used to that anyway!
Sorry for the long winded rant but I needed to vent.... Cheers!
If Peter Mckay was leader there would have been a Conservative minority. Yes the pot roll out seems to have been done by high people. One thing in particular that stinks is they copy your ID and put it in a database, no chance that is going to cause people problems in the future.
DeleteYou may be right about Peter McKay Steve, he was railroaded out the PC leadership by Harper. He was a 'progressive', at least I think he was. He was mentioned the other day by one of the pundits but I don't know if he wants back into the swamp. I would vote for him any day of the week and twice on Sunday ... how could I not vote for a fellow Bluenoser just as I did for Bob Stanfield back in the 70's... (sorry moe) ...?
DeleteLike I mentioned above, the Conservatives have to figure out how to appeal to the millennial's or they will be relegated to the dustbin of history after all us old, white boomers are gone.
Hey the M,
DeleteThe CPC leader they chose wasn't half - or even a quarter - the leader their interim, Ms. Ambrose, proved to be. She would be a great choice is the current idiot gets sent packing.
Like Charles Adler and Kim Campbell and Joe Clark, I think the nation would be better served by a Progressive Conservative party that this Reformatory Rump.
McKay has problems, but certainly would have had no use for these Rebel Mediots and their racist backwards crap. Harperism is dead outside of the prairies, and some day, they'll figure it out too. Liberal arrogance came full throttle in their first mandate, and as you aptly put it, JT will have his ears pinned back now. This is the best outcome (excepting the loss of Gentleman Ralph Goodale, who will always be Honourable in my books). Only sad that good old pure-laine xenophobia reared its ugly head again to rejuvenate the BQ
--SiM
All the best to Dale Hawerchuk, with a big fight against stomach cancer on his hands. Six years ago, my former boss, who was a very fit and vibrant, full of life 64 year old was diagnosed with the same and less than 6 months later was gone from this earth. I hope for a better prognosis to Mr Hawerchuk.
ReplyDeleteGet well Dale, I just hope it was not from drinking beer, close to home if you know what I mean.
DeleteDo the Habs ever play again this season or what?
ReplyDeleteLeaf game Sat the west coast team Thursday Can I celebrate the leaf are falling faster than the leaves this autuum and a tree costs nothing.
DeleteHappy to see some leaf schadenfreude at last. The Habs get those fucking losers at the end of a back to back but you know the sfu will have the excuses ready to go this Saturday! I will have to depend on someone else to tell me what they say as I am boycotting. On second thought, I don't give a fuck what those arseholes think or say.
DeleteWatched the first episode of WatCHmen tonight, it's crazy good. Remind me to tell you sometime how Time/Warner/DC stole those characters from creator Alan Moore. It's not as bad as what happened to Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster but still... Intellectual property is tricky, especially pre-internet.
And now for some levity...

This.... This is the type of content we need more of at TSN. Unwavering positivity about the #Leafs and the ability to keep them in the news no matter what...
@Sportsnet
It may not show in the standings, but the #MapleLeafs are playing better their results show.
A loss in Boston was the latest example. (@reporterchris)
TSN is hoping #WEXITALBERTA happens because surely Connor McDavid will request a trade to the #Leafs if Alberta separates, right?!
ReplyDeleteThe TSN Hockey panel will discuss how quickly the inevitable McDavid to Toronto trade would go down following the separation. #TorontoSportsNetwork
