  3. Welcome to Montreal, Noah Dobson! Summerside's finest! Signing for 8 years too!

Merci, #52 DarCHe! Que tu choisis bien avec tes 2 nouveaux picks en rond 1

So long, Heineman, look out for those Salt Lake City drivers!

  7. Wow, leave it Hughes to hit one out of the park that none of the 'experts' saw coming.
Yes, it's a big price to pay, but for a young, talented, right handed D, it's a good price. And I love the extension.

Being an Islander, Spud would be appropriate as a nick.
    Or simply The Islander...
"I am Noah Dobson of the Clan Dobson. I was born in 2000 in the village of Summerside on the shores of Prince Edward Island. And I am in Montreal."

It took me some time to do the math. Two picks that history proves probaly dont play in the NHL and the magical Heinman. How could we trade away the magical Hieniman?
I stand to be corrected in the future. Yeah its a slam dunk dunk empty net trade. So our former Dache Vader team mate did on his first day on the job a solid for his former team. I respect that.
Unless we find out that Noah has dandruff or is obseeed with building a sail boat we won huge.
You cant get a number one center, well getting an number one Right D man is harder.
There is some kind of code violation going on, and I think its going to flame out.
I cant believe it I cant believe it I cant belive it, yes Taylor Swift will make a song about this trade.
I am gobsmaked dumpfounded and monkeyfaced. All my insticts are false. My world view is shattered, Ukraine is not ruled by a dick and MS Smith is not an American puppet making a colour revoulution in a country where its spelled COLOUR.

  13. Btw, I know this remote format sucks but maybe Bettman is right not to have all these Canadians (and others) and thier families fly down into the fascist USA for this right now.

Our foreign affairs minister dropped a massive bombshell (in a classic news-burying late Friday announcement) that the U.S. govt is holding some 55 Canadians hostage and we're trying to fucking keep trade negotiations going with them.

  14. Heineman has now been traded for Sam Bennett, Tyler Toffoli and Noah Dobson. Talk about a great trade chip.
And so this extends HuGo's first ever trade of Toffoli. I didn't like it at the time. We needed his scoring. But it's come full circle to pay off.

Well well well we see what could have been, looks like some quality players, could have had Jose Carbanaou. Looking at 2018 there is nothing there, 2019 we already got the best of the bunch in Capt Hook at 16. 2020 at 16 we got ghost and the only other player is Dawson Mercer. 2021 the only player from the whole draft that has popped is Wyatt Johnson at 23 the year we took Maxioux.
Maybe Victor Eklund, Kashawn Aitcheson, Lynden Lakovic or Logan Hensler will defy the Hockey Gods, or maybe Darche Vader is an idiot. The US turned Ukraine which had been Russia's best friend for centuries into a mortal enemy. The same is happening to Canada. Pure Evil exists in this world and we have to idendify the source and render it powerless.

So just trying to keep up here
      Devo Army Heineken Pez
      Are gone
Bathing suit and Savvy are gone
      Cp31 is gone
      Kappo somebody is in
      Some Zachary thing is is
Noah the Ark man is in
So we are out 4 forwards and brought one in
We are out a goalie and brought one in
We are out 2 D and brought one in
      So big picture is...
      Our D is better
      Our goalies are the same
And we are down 3 forwards
So either Hugo has work to do or
We are bringing in 3 younglings from AHL
So I could see Owen coming up as a new Devo
      The other spots are ?
We have tried JRoy over and over
We prob should give Jay Harley a shot but quite frankly that's it for now
      Where's our stud no 2 C man?
      I'm confused
We have major holes in our lineup
I'm thinking we are about to get very young(er)
      Dunno
      Go Habs

      Laine-Dach-Demidov
      Hooker-7Evans-Powerhorse
      Bolduc-Kapinen-Gally
      In waiting:
      Beck
If JRoy isn't traded with Matheson, he will be given another shot.
      Harley

      Maths-Dobby/Z'ark
      Ghules-FastLane
      Struble/Ax-Carrier

If Dach doesn't figure the C out right away, they might give Bolduc a shot. He played most of his junior career at Centre and put up 105 goals in his last 2 seasons. Those are big numbers for a centre in the Q.

  60. We just need a 2C to help us hang in until the trade deadline. DaCH will be given one last shot, on a very short leash. BOLD could be given that shot when (I mean if...) Dach fails. But he is not likely the answer.

Another year of misery behind the failings of Scooby Dooby in Pittsburgh will finally make Sid see the light and come home. But the boys have to stay in contention until March.

    ReplyDelete

    1. If it even takes that long. I expect Pitt to be buried in last place by the end of October as Scooby Dooby tanks for McKenna.
I haven't quite given up on Kirby yet, he will be highly motivated to 1) prove the naysayers wrong and 2) needs a new contract. He will probably have Demigod and Bold or Wool on his wings so his point total should rise.

I'm done with travel to the U.S., I'll probably never set foot in that country again. Europe is a far better choice, I won't hesitate to go back.

I was in Costco the other day and I wanted some fresh blackberries. As soon as I saw 'product of the USA I walked past. Same with cherries. I still check labels and buy Canadian or anywhere but the US.
    And I'll keep doing it.

If Carney thinks he's going to get some kind of concession or deal from FOTUS, he's making a mistake. You will get nothing form that fucker and any agreement that is signed won't be worth the paper it's written on. It's time to move on. If we want to keep an auto manufacturing sector here, there are many other manufacturers besides Ford, GM and Stellantis. I saw some really neat looking vehicles in the UK, some I couldn't recognize. I would be happy to buy a made in Canada Jaguar, Peugot or whatever.

    2. After yesterday's bullshit I say it's time to walk away.
Send a reply letter : Thanks but no thanks and go fuck yourself.
No more phone calls, pull the negotiating team out of any talks.
We don't don't need anything from you any more. Good-bye.

    3. I didn't see the point in continuing negotiations after... well, at all, really. As Charlie Angus says, we all need to figure out how to resist. And Carney can't work fast enough.

    4. I give Carney some credit for showing restraint. How could he not want to just tell FOTUS to go fuck himself. Problem is at this time, many Canadian manufacturers still need the US. Until we can get better international deals done.
The one thing I would do is spend money to prop up our Potash producers until we can find other customers for them.
America gets 90% of it's potash from Canada. Have fun growing your crops.

Enough of that. Mrs Pad is retired and watches too much of that south of the border shit. As a result she is basically in an existential crisis, worrying about what that orange fucktwat might do.

    5. My mother's been the same way for years - hooked on watching MSNBC and following every shock and every awe of US politics for years. She reads every opinion column she can find from former Rethuglicans like Steve Svhmidt etal who aren't part of MAGA. I ask her about something local and she's not usually even aware of it.

Gotta get off the screens and out in the real world to protect your sanity. We all do.

    6. Stop watching the news. The people making U tubes i the basement know more. I am particularly exicted about all the sightings of Nazi's at the south pole. I never knew that living was the first symptom of dying. Did you realize that Pee Pee who took 11 years to get an online degree in basketweaving is more clever than a man who has run two central banks? Their are Russians under your bed, just waiting to spring into action when Trump invades. The Canadian Falls are the best Niagra Falls.

    1. Maybe not, sounds like there is a lot of cancellations. I think it's just for their streaming service and who gives a rat's ass about that? Maybe Blow Jay fans use it. Not me. I only have shitnet as part of my cable package so I expect Bell will be raising their price in Jan. Big surprise ha ha.

It is funny because it is true…

Reaves surprised how quickly fan reaction changed at Leafs playoff games
What surprised Ryan Reaves about his time in Toronto? The veteran winger, who was traded to the Sharks on Thursday, admitted he was caught off guard by the ups and downs in the playoffs. The building could be "rocking" one minute, he noted, before turning "dead silent" the next.
