[COTU Prison Blues]

They traded Marner to Reno
Just to watch the Leaf die
When their Underpants is stifled
They hang their heads and cry

[PHONE booth Prison Blues]

Well the shots they are a comin'
Straight up with no screen
And it don't matter who's in nets
They're probably goin' in
HuGo traded Pomme to Jersey
Just to watch Monty & Doobie fry
Despite our better Corsi
November's one big shitty ride

  2. I haven't read one word about last night by anyone. What's the point?
Until they learn to play defence the beatings will continue and morale will NOT improve.
I'm sure the SFU are licking their chops for tomorrow night.
Guaranteed the refs have been paid beforehand to set up a leaf win. Brought to you by SportsBet365.

  3. "Therapy day" for 7vens today. Poor kid. I have bad feeling about this.

  4. MSL calling out some individuals on his team for poor or questionable play.
I can guess who some of them are.

Hutson -- too many riverboat gambling forays and turnovers.
    Slaf -- lazy ass plays.
Monty -- get your forking head in the game.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Questions about why nobody took Wilson to task for his high hit on Evans. Anderson? Xhejak?
Is MSL to blame threatening to bench them? Or have they just abandoned the pack mentality already?

Math is hard by save percent I can understand. Although look at the shots, man superman could not have stopped all them.

  11. Watching Rockets vs. Belleville. Rhino with a nice PPG, picking top corner. Fowler is the back-up tonight. So. He'll be fresh to go tomortow night, either in Belleville or BellCentre.

  12. From Brian Wilde, some good news:
"Jake Evans is good to go tonight. Interestingly, he will be on a line with Florian Xhekaj as the Canadiens couldn’t send a clearer message about team toughness. Josh Anderson on the other side.

Evans said he took Friday off to make sure no latent concussion symptoms started. Guys done his research."

  14. I'm actually not looking forward to this game.
I hate it when they lose to the wretched leaf, which I feel will happen.
I feel the Habs are still lacking confidence, in themselves and their goalies.
Absolutely, sound will be off tonight and no listening to the talking heads pre-game.

    ReplyDelete
  15. It might be a stretch but it's possible the Habs could be sellers at the TDL if they don't get this turned around soon. The silver lining is this is a very good draft in 2026.

I went to CHurCH and I know how to ideify evil. To nite in the little scheme of things we will see a struggle between two team who are playing in a place where NHL players are afraid to enter and thats why it takes so much time to come back. He beat me on the subway and stole my bag, now I can never ride the subway or have a bag anymore. So dont care about the bag or the subway just win

I grew up with nature, sleeping in the ditch and walking through the tall grass. Now we have ticks, we always had ticks and I got to tell you I have had them on my body heading for my balls my whole life.
So be afraid or be scard by info wars, there is a tick that bites you and you die if you eat meat of any kind. A Jet blue pilot just died. Am I parinood or a prophet? The masters of the universive think you dont contrubute enough to save you. Epstien Island is paradise and no ticks.

  47. Adam Engstrom. Somebody more clever than I will need to come up with his moniker because all I got is Eng...Engelbert...Engelbert Humperdinck. I don't think we want to go with Humperdinck :-) I think my grandmother must have had an album of his or something. I can't name any of his songs.

Alexandre Texier - there is the (is it irony? dichotomy?) of calling a guy from France, Tex. My limited knowledge tells me his surname is likely related to textiles, maybe weavers. We had a Weaver once didn't we? for a nickname I mean? But they say what is old is new again. Or if you want to get really out there, name him McCloud. If you know, you know.

That reminds me of a song the Stones sang about Cape Breton Island.
The lyrics went "Hey McCloud, get off of my ewe."

    1. Strombo?

  53. Lots of debate over at EOTP about the D situation, who stays who goes.
Now Engstrom called makes it more complicated.
Some are speculating AX will be the odd man out. Or Strobe. Meh.
How about they will be showcasing AE?
I watched Kyper and Bourne last night on YouTube ... Kyper was adamant the the Xhekaj bros played a huge part in beating the leaf. He said the leaf had no answer for those two.
I say AX is going nowhere or Strobe, you need that toughness if you are going anywhere in the playoffs. Probably even more of it. FloX stays.
If I were to speculate, AE will be part of a package to bring in ROR or someone similar.
Hughes always likes to get ahead of the game. He got RoCH in December last year.
Like a good chess player, he's always a few moves ahead.
    Go Habs.
