Looks like Nick has been demoted and again the guy with the 3rd most PP points in the league sits on the bench watching a second unit with guys like Stone and Marchand on it.
Agree with St. Pad..pp is way too predictable. Nature would do so much more for it...and another thing...Doughty - most over rated fucking D ever. Way past his prime and of little value in a game like this.
I'm sorry, but that's on Cooper. Ovrr-reliance on the three who were on the ice at the end, and not realizing the calm cool head of Nick Suzuki and all the winning at 3 on 3 he has engineered.
Anyway, Nature and the whole team played their asses off and earned silver, which is pretty cool.
Cooper wanted to ride the 3 Horses as much as possible. Can't blame him I guess. They had many opportunities to put the muricans away but could not beat HilleBilly.
Great to see all the smiling, healthy Habs (with a few Victoires) in the skills comp. DaCH, Hook, Wooly Bully, and a jet-lagged Tex. 7vens was the sharp shooter, Ax with the hardest shot again. Thursday seems so far away still.
Juraj Slafkovský is the first player in history to make back-to-back All-Star teams at the Winter Olympics. Only Teemu Selänne has made the All-Star team twice, in 2006 and 2014.
Do I need to remind what a scumbag this Habs hater is ?
Greg Wyshynski @wyshynski FWIW Canada absolutely converts on one of their power plays if Sid is out there. Also he doesn't lose 6 of 7 faceoffs like Suzuki did, the worst faceoff winning percentage of any player in the gold medal game.
OK, for me, it's time to move on. It was a 2-1 game, in OT, 3 on 3 where it's a bad bounce, somebody falls, yada yada. Canada outplayed the us and was the better team for 60 minutes. The muricans got the breaks.
All I got is: Never 51 and Fuck you trump.
Let's get back to our Habs and Saturday night hockey, minus mclame and his clown panel. GYFHG!!!
I am a huge fan of sport. But in the end, it's a game. Do I wish we had won? Of course. But like with our favourite teams winning or losing their championships, in the end my life is not impacted one way or the other. It was predictable that with a USA win, it would be politicized the way it was. We just got to see who was the most MAGA loving scum on the team. Had Canada won, we would have just seen more of the anti-facist/anti-American stuff that we're seeing anyway. So I've moved on. Sadly I'll miss the first game after the break. But I'll be keeping an eye on the score and this chat from the poker table, probably after being dealt 9-3 four consecutive times...now GYMFHG!
I have moved on from this easy. In the future we will see USA dominate hockey because like everything they just pour in money until they get the result. The USA team probably played together since they where 13. They have a summer camp in Plymouth and I would not be surpised if young girls where supplied by Epsitien.
"It was only as they filed into the chamber inside Washington’s Capitol building on Tuesday night – surrounded by hooting politicians – that it seemed to occur to Team USA what they had gotten themselves into. This was a zoo. They were the monkeys."
The Minnesota 5 were the only team members that kept their dignity. There were probably a few that really didn't want to go but didn't want to rock the boat. The full on magats kachook bros relished every moment and probably kissed the emperor's ass later.
So the dumpster fire that is the leaf think that they will get a first rounder for Bobby McMann, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and Brandon Carlo .... Pause for effect. This being written by an admitted self proclaimed rational leaf blower. Oh the hilarity is back on in the armpit Bring it baybee GGH
I read the same article ... a rational leaf blower on hockeybuzz ... I wouldn't read to much into that. They might get a first for Carlo, possibly. The other two, not a chance. After another beating tonight in Florida, I'm pretty sure Keith Pelley will throw in the towel. The next week will be hilarious as the mighty leaf go to the bottom.
So Wool is still on IR, which is surprising since he's been practising with the team. I understand Engstrom out for a month, which is tough for Rhino and Laval. May the rest of our D (and indeed everyone) stay healthy. The schedule from now to the end of the season has no let up. GYFHG!
No Sid.
ReplyDeleteNo pressure on Nature. Slots in for Sid.
ReplyDeleteCelebrini-McDavid-MacKinnon

Nick can handle it.
DeleteCooper is a believer.
Wearing my TFS #31 like I did for Sochi. GYFCG!!
ReplyDeleteHow does Cooper NOT use Suzuki at all in that 5 on 3??
ReplyDeleteWeird.
DeleteLooks like Nick has been demoted and again the guy with the 3rd most PP points in the league sits on the bench watching a second unit with guys like Stone and Marchand on it.
ReplyDeleteBruce Cassidy is running the PP.
DeleteMakar!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!
ReplyDeleteBinnington looks like he took swimming lessons from Monty
ReplyDeleteAgree with St. Pad..pp is way too predictable. Nature would do so much more for it...and another thing...Doughty - most over rated fucking D ever. Way past his prime and of little value in a game like this.
ReplyDeleteAgreed about Doughty, ratface too, they should have brought a younger D and Connor Bedard instead.
DeleteCanada pushed hard that period, finally got rewarded.
ReplyDeleteNick had a really good shift earlier.
I've switched to the American feed. Can't stand Cuthbert's voice and that they keep showing the Traitor's face.
ReplyDeleteHow the fuck did Mack miss that?!
ReplyDeleteImagine the roasting Suzuki would get if that was him.
Let's see how much flack MacKinnon gets.
Zero.
DeleteFuck
ReplyDeleteWell that sucks.
ReplyDeleteShitty shit shit.
ReplyDeleteNathan MacKinnon won't sleep for the next four years.
ReplyDeleteMore insults coming our way from the orange rapist gangster.
ReplyDeleteThe SFU will blame Nick Suzuki
ReplyDeleteUndeserved win but dems da rulz.
ReplyDeleteThe traitor will be happy his murican team won.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but that's on Cooper. Ovrr-reliance on the three who were on the ice at the end, and not realizing the calm cool head of Nick Suzuki and all the winning at 3 on 3 he has engineered.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Nature and the whole team played their asses off and earned silver, which is pretty cool.
Now back to GYFHG hockey!
And hats off to the USA for bringing the Gaudreault jersey out. Nice moment.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the USA, they lucked out. Canada still the best.
ReplyDeleteCan we get back to proper hockey now boys and girls...I've has enough "Ice Hockey" to last me 4 years.
ReplyDeleteI thought it would come down to goaltending. Canada got goalied, it happens.
ReplyDeleteThere is always someone to blame, so on the ice was Mcdavid, Celibrini, Makar and Binnington.
ReplyDeleteI thought for sure Nature would’ve been given much more ice time. Weird.
ReplyDeleteCooper wanted to ride the 3 Horses as much as possible.
DeleteCan't blame him I guess.
They had many opportunities to put the muricans away but could not beat HilleBilly.
Didn't Nature's CH manhandle HellBeYuck in four straight just 5 years ago? But I digress.
DeleteSo, who's getting traded after midnight tonight?
ReplyDeleteAnybody?

pFuck daddy?

DeleteFucking wannabe a Canadian piece of garbage.
DeleteHe was and is still being hyped by snet scum like bourne.
DeleteLooks like it was Dylan Larkin celebrating with pathetic fbi patel (friend of the traitor).
ReplyDeleteDirtbags all.

Mark my words, the sfu will be attacking Nature with their game recaps.
ReplyDeleteNo question McDavid is an exceptional forward but he did not think outside of his box.
ReplyDeleteMake a fucking pass.
Don’t try to do it all on your own.
Learn to backcheck.
Habs fans should be giving Nature, Kap and Slaf and even Texier some loud applause at the next home game.
ReplyDeleteleaf fans will be flummoxed. Some things never change.
I dunno, I think the SFU will be fellating Nachos pretty hard for his gold medal ... even though he did SFA.
DeleteNot normal.
ReplyDeletehttps://bsky.app/profile/ronfilipkowski.bsky.social/post/3mfiehe2onc2f
mclame will blow a gasket after he’s done blowing nachos.
It would be best to avoid mclame and his clown show this Saturday.
DeleteHopefully, it will be another 46 years before the despicable muricans ever win another Olympics hockey medal. I won't be around to see it anyway.
