  2. I'm sure the rest of the season will be all about 'can the leaf tank hard enough to get a top 5 pick?'
Hey they did a masterful job of tanking to snag Underpants in the 2015? draft. And look where that got them. Even though it gives the Bruins a better pick, I still want them to land at #6. Though I won't be surprised to see the lottery balls 'fall their way', considering all of that Rogers money gone to the NHL.
But who gives a rat's ass. They'll continue sucking for eternity.

Now more important business, Habs play 3 non-playoff teams this week. They should win 2 because Monty will inexplicably play one. 12 games left this month, I see a 7-4-1 record, which is pretty close to the percentage they are currently playing (around 0.629). That would put them at 93 points with 8 remaining. I just hope they make it easier this year than last.

  3. Heh, even before the M's comment in the last thread, I was curious who was the last Hab to finish top 10 in scoring? Mats Naslund finished 8th with 110 points in the 85/86 season. 40 damn years! Don't know if Suzuki will maintain his pace, I have no reason to believe otherwise though. But that 110 points is also the last time a Hab scored 100 or more. Suzuki is on pace for 98. I'm hoping for a 4 point game from him tonight to boost his chances of reaching the century mark.

    Great word.
    Agree with The M
Leaf Habs are always hi tempo normally close affairs.
Glad to see that Doobie will be in tonight, take the points because something tells me that tomorrow is going to be battle royal. I'm hoping we come out of the snores game unscathed. There has been an uptick in intensity between Habs and snores of late. Prob as a result of the orc, that mutant american.
Anyway, lets jump on that dumpster fire and beat the living shit out of them while they're down. Dress strudle and Ax Man and bring up Harley Davidson and Little Ax and slap those fucking armpitians into the next available dimension.

The beauty of leaf failure is that the sfu will say and write all kinds of fantasy to help re-something their team. They are the most unprofessional and biased chuds in pro sports media. They’ve all enjoyed multiple decades of continued futility, despite all their advice. Oh sure they’ll start ripping their team but I find it truly hilarious that they suggest comparisons to recent teams that got over their bump in the road. Those teams aren’t even remotely as pathetic and desperate as the leaf. Their leaf aren’t last year’s broons or a previous version of tamponbay. Retool, rejig, rebuild, restore, refucked. Eat it you fucks.

    1. But, but, Jon Cooper said they are still a 'great' team.
One of the leaf players said they will be back even stronger next season.
The more likely scenario is, they will try to re-set around the 3 Losers and hire a new coach.
And they will either be a bubble team or just suck. Again.

It's a stunning SFU turnaround. Going from greatest to worst at the flip of a switch. As every knowledgeable Habs fan will attest this smouldering dumpster fire never had what it took to win anything. They excelled at scoring some goals and patting themselves on the back but the team wasn't built for anything other than exactly that. Score some goals pat the back. They had no D and no goalie, no plan, no foresight, no vision. Score some goals fill the stands make lots of money pat the back. They are their own worst nightmare, and quite frankly with Brad and Scott driving the bus the ineptitude knows no bounds.
Happy days, the hilarity will continue.
