  33. Some interesting facts this morning.

CC has the most goals for Montreal in the month of January since the Flower in 1979.
CC has the most game tying and game winning goals in the league.
Only two players have more goals than CC in the league --- MacKinnon and McDavid. Yet somehow he's not good enough for the US Olympic team but Pornstache McUnderpants is. Go figure.
I really hope the US team gets pummeled over there.

  35. Looking at the standings this morning, the Glorious Habs (tm CHester) are currently 7th overall and trying to catch the Dead Things while staying ahead of the beaners and barffalo.
Meanwhile, the sad sack leaf are 22nd and trying to dig the hole deeper and get into the bottom 5 so as to retain their 1st round pick in the 2026 Draft. They have a lot of losing to do to get there and it will be difficult as the teams below them are not trying too hard to win either.

The hilarity is non stop. And now the rudderless leaf just flounder around the armpit pointing fingers at each other. This will be a source of amusement for years to come. The funny thing is they will try to copy the beaners with a selective rebuild that will include keeping Underpants, ha ha. The only one worth keeping is Willie The Cone Head.
