  2. Good for Monty. Good for his psyche heading into the break.

Good for Old KidG. Good for PH. Depth is so important to go deep in the playoffs...assuming you get there.

That goal by Hutson was insane. I've watched it a dozen times.
I think they said he was clocked at 35km/h. Then to casually turn, receive a pass (a beauty at that from PH) on the backhand, rotate to the forehand and put it in off the post in one smooth motion is incredible.

So I'm no wheeler dearler guy but I think the kinks got a scoop
A late first round prospect and a conditional 3rd (from a contender)
I think Mr Drurey got his pocket picked and his rebuild announcement just makes thing seem desperate
No way to deal very unlike Cool Hand Kent

  4. I seem to remember the Rags hit a rough patch and the owner Dolan hit the panic button and fired Mr. Gorton and Drury took over. I would like to thank Mr. Dolan for our good fortune.
The fried man said that Panarin backed Drury into the corner saying he would only go to L.A.
So it was take the L.A. offer or get nothing when the Bread Man walked to UFA this July.
As a side note, Liam Greentree who was the Kings #26 pick in 2024, was where HuGo was originally going to pick but they added a spare 2nd rounder to #26 so they could move up to #21 and take Michael Hage. So, all this talk about trading Hage for Sid or whoever ain't gonna happen, they like this kid too much. He will probably replace Nick as the #1 center some day.

Saw a headline over at tsn that Leon called out the coaches after they lost to Calgary last night.
Looks like there is trouble in Oil country... besides 'sTrumpet' Smith trying to fuck the rest of the country over. Traitor bitch.

I hope Marty still gives the majority of the starts to Doobie when play resumes.

I'm sorry but it's a struggle to get behind a team that has ratface and headhunter Wilson on it.

  35. Maybe Saint Paddy can chime in on this.

I watched the WM golf tournament this afternoon. This is an event in Scottsdale Arizona and is usually heavily attended by Canadians from western Canada. The 16th hole is a par 3 with a colosseum set up around the green. This area is always packed with fans (usually drinking heavily) and if you miss your approach shot you are lustily booed. This year I noticed there were many, many empty seats in the stands, a much smaller crowd standing around the green and hardly any people booing. I suspect this tournament was heavily boycotted by Canadians and I'll bet they took a financial hit in ticket and beer sales. I sure hope so.

Also, there were two times when leader Hideki Matsuame had to back off because some asshole yelled in his back swing. Probably cost him the win. Fucking poor sport murican assholes. I hope they lose at everything.

It takes a lot of self restraint not to win the lottery. Our wall of fame is all the members who did not win the lottery. So by thinking or alledging that this will be the worst year in a long long long years of worst years in Leaf history, I risk my place on the wall. But sometimes the truth matters more than tradition. Canada annihlites USA in the gold metal game. I smackdown.
