Same here. Not that it was significantly lopsided, the refs got to realize that the game's not about them, they're only putting themselves at risk of being criticized, and that the best hockey is played 5-on-5
I stand by my unimpressed assessment that DD needs to take a seat and Eller gets a shot in his spot. Other than his stupid penalty, getting shoved off the puck every time he was near the net and flubbed passes, DD also got massacred at the faceoff dot...
Mickey Ribs looks idiotic in a Caps sweater. Also it looks giant sized on him. Got an unsportsmanlike 10 minute misconduct and thrown out of the game for bitching..
Then again I don't think he's very sportsmanlike anyway.
A bit late to the party - hey its a school night! - Whoo Hoo! GCHuk gets the first star! Nice! My SCORE app gave the details and where they list the 3 stars- instead of saying he was from (MTL) he was listed as (USA)
David Desharnais is too small to be a number 1 center. Make him a winger. Lars Eller may not be good enough to be a number 1 center, apparently according to mcSplooge. Montreal has a young 28 minute per game defenceman sitting home on his ass doing nothing at the moment. Just sayin'.
So is it because the Habs were just soooo bad last year that DDD stood out? Now, with more talent around him, he's being shown up? Or is it that the other teams have figured him out? (And I know it's only two games in - just asking is all)
I watched the highlights and was impressed with the line of traffic in front of the net on Vodkov's 2nd. GCHuk looks strong in front of the net too, which will serve him well as long as he doesn't get hurt easily. I like what I saw a lot.
Well the forcast is surprisingly sunny. About one car away from a parade. MT2.0 is a significant upgrade over Chocula and from the analysis I have read Cunnyworth was an idiot. It also helps that TFS is unbeatable 5 on 5. Cant wait until we play Boston.
HAMILTON, ONT – Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today that the Bulldogs have released defenceman Mike Commodore from his Professional Try-Out Contract.
Commodore, 33, played 17 games for the Bulldogs recording two assists and 26 penalty minutes.
Juce, Steve and I are not advocating trading PFK, it sounds like he is looking for huge contract, they are not close at all. MB may have no choice but to move him. It could provide a huge return for the Canadiens. Hopefully they will get it resolved.
If I was a fly on a wall, I could have a better opinion. Maybe Stubbs will have something to tell but I doubt it. DGMB and Meehan are very tight-lipped.

tsn just spent 11 minutes (of 30) not including commercial breaks on the(ir) leaf. Their 'expert' panel called the leaf 2-1 win over the Habs 'impressive' whilst saying Montreal didn't show up in it's home opener. Which is it? They then searched really deep for ways the leaf can win tonight, each giving their expert-panelled coaching opinions. Why?
At the end of the day I will continue to suggest the leaf mediots think that leaf fans are really fucking stupid, dense idiots themselves. It is a thing of blue and white beauty.
do not give them a chance to shoot the messenger. Thats the difference between Leaf and Habs fans. We will pick every flaw out the pepper that is flyshit, the leaf fan will use a shaker full of flyshit and say it tastes like pepper.
I've thought a lot about this (actually not that much, given the subject matter)and it's really quite simple. As we all know, there are hockey fans and then there are leaf fans. Likewise in the media, there are hockey writers and reporters and then there are leaf writers and reporters. I'm sorry but you can't be both and it appears to me that tsn is clearly a leaf based vehicle. This, in turn, clouds all they report, whether it is about the leaf or not. Rather than rose coloured glasses, they see all with dingy blue smudged hazy, fingerprint covered lenses - and when push comes to shove, it shows!
is he going to try very hard. He is fucking dead to me. He is like the villian in a movie that does a good thing at the end, you still hate him. Yes he loved being a Hab and was a integral part of our great Halak powered run. I give him that, and the contract he signed I would sign in a heartbeat and say the same things he says. Like I love to pull on the sweater, bonne chance Mr Gomez
moeman mediot warning: when you see the name Chris Johnson from Canadian Press / CP wire, remember that this fat tranna-based dwarf is a paid sportsnet shill with CP credentials and is a biased leaf loving dick that shits on anything non-leaf. One of many.
why I am the only one like Al Swearigin on this blog. Jesus fucking christ on the cross if another mutherfucker does not start to curse I will stop. Then you will see how bland I really am.
I cant handle the truth, but when something thats obvious does not happen you have to play Sherlock. Montreal having had Russian mobs, Mickey D's and whatever Chelios was up to is very worried about MR PFK, thats the holdup. And I am right there with them. Your not just buying the car your buying the transmission.
I'm pretty sure Chelios urinated on a sidewalk outside a bar in Chicago, so Serge Savard traded him there for his long lost cousin Denis Savard another bad trade for Les Glorious.
He certainly is saying the right things - I mean for someone not in the lineup that is. And why didn't Stubbs ask this question: "Hey PK - Your new coach, MT2 - he thinks you're a fuckin' showoff dickwad with a bad attitude - how are you gonna address that when you come back? He'll have had a month to settle his defensive pairings then you'll come back expecting big minutes. How are you gonna get back into that "inner cirlce" of trusted lieutenants?"...just wondering...
I thought I had fixed that Load problem
