Go you fucking Habs Go
So what'd I miss?
A hard fought win and N31 backing you up with some stellar play.
me putting a Add in Soldier of Fortune. Rat exterminator wanted, wet work guarented.
That shit is GOLD.

Hide away headlights beat any of the LED stuff we got now.
I just spent my entire lunch break trying to print something out (unsuccessfully). How come they can make tiny computers that are also phones that fit in my pocket, but they can't make a goddamn printer that fucking works??!!
Bruins tears!Julien accuses Habs of embelishment. Calls it embarrassing. (To quote Torts, pay attention to your own team you befuddled Jabba).Marchand on Subban: "He's running scared from Horty... shows what kind of character they have there." (You mean when "Horty" shoved PK from behind into the net then told his teammates not to fight because the period was almost over and they were gaining momentum? Tissuuuue.)
I'm Nova Scotian and if fuckface Marchand ever tries to get back in this province I will personally piledrive him into the bay of fundy.
@Mike McPhee, I've heard he is disliked by lots of folks in the Halifax area, maybe even his own family. soperman knows of this. I've heard from a broons fan I know a lot of his own teammates can't stand the little rat fuck.
He is the "anti-Crosby" in Halifax. If we have pride in Sidney (even though he doesn't play for his boyhood favourite team, the Habs) we have shame in Marchand. It is like matter and anti-matter keeping our Hali-verse in balance. The bad news is that Nathan MacKinnon will be filling us with pride in a couple more years (and Drouin as an adoptee), so there will have to emerge another big evil beyond that.
First one to knock out rat fuckface on pizza corner gets a lifetime supply of donair sauce.
Not the whole donair? But the people who would do that are probably Broon fans, so I would guess he is safe.
Oh good, TSN has the highlights up just THREE FUCKING HOURS after the game ended.
I'm back muthers! Looks like I missed a doozy! Can't wait to go have my meeting with that broons fan around the corner. But first, I must watch me some highlights. Where are the Highlights 29? I needs me some highlights!!
Highlights are up.
I can understand the feeling of euphoria today as good triumphed over evil. I kept silent last night because I wanted to watch uninterrupted the proceedings. Man, what a display of sheer goonery, thuggery and cheap shots.I will say this: In a 7 game series I highly doubt the Habs could survive all that shit, sort of like what happened in 2011. Marc Bergevin, who played twenty years in the league knows you can't bring a knife to a gun fight. CHarger needs some help and he ain't gettin' it from Moen or Armstrong so MB will be active I'm sure leading up to the trade deadline. One more thing: Lucic is a coward who only fights players who are smaller than him and he knows he can beat. Prust took a few shots last night but held his own. My hat is off to him.
...and what are the last words you hear on the highlights? "The Montreal Canadiens survive..."Fuck you Buttman - Fuck You Jacobs - the Habs did more than "Survive"...they beat your fuckin' ass in your own house. Shove that up your ass and "survive" it!Go Habs Go!!
Reminds me after that 8-6 game a couple of years back. "Habs can't compete with Bruins!" "Bruins maintain their dominance over Habs!", etc. At that point our guys had a 5-7 game winning streak against them, not to mention a good playoff record even in the last decade, never mind in history. Oh, and it was a 2 goal game with an EN. As I mentioned below, on the post game show the guy talked about how the American broadcasters and the league hate the Habs because not only do we represent 'foreign' domination in a sport, but it's French domination (how they see it). No way hockey is getting big in Phoenix with that label. But that's ok. Only in hockey is the greatest team ever treated with such disrespect. The Yankees certainly don't have to deal with this from the media.
I should say the post game show talked about how the American media hates us. I added the part about being French because, like with PK and Obama, we can either ignore the elephant in the room or ask if it was tea and crackers.
Beaners cry, cockroach defends Habs;http://www.csnne.com/blog/bruins-talk/milbury-felger-debate-if-canadiens-were-embellishing
Even if one believes the Habs dive (and seriously, watch the poke the bear video I posted if you want a Daily Show type laugh at the hypocrisy) how did they benefit from it last night? Every penalty against the broons was an obvious infraction. Nevermind 'iffy', where were the holding, tripping or hooking calls? And the broons were definitely holding, tripping and hooking. I think the refs did a good job controlling the game, but the broons could have been called for 10x more crap.
And it was MT2.0 crying for penalties all night?!! Oh, the mind just boggles. Even if that were true, he doesn't get a private little session with the refs like Bill from KotH does.
The video is streaming in 10 second intervals for me, so I'm going to post my reaction to each 10 secs. Milbury is the voice of reason. Time to check your life priorities, Massholes.
"They play like a bunch of broads." Nice, throw in some misogyny.
MNever thought I'd say this but...good for him!ilbury has come up in my opinion. He wasn't buying the bullshit that wanker from Boston was on about.
I listened to the post game show on the radio (I'm terrible with names, it was just the one guy last night, not Tony Marinero the other guy). Anyway, he was bringing up a lot of points that we say here. Mainly, broons are full of cheap shot artists that are also very good at the game. Mostly, Chara. I think he called him a psychopath at least 6 times in the hour I listened. As the show dwindled down he got a bunch of angry broon fans calling in and dealt with them well (and respectfully, which is hard to do. To quote Marilyn Manson: When you deal with apes, man, it's hard to be clean).
Refresh for KotH.
Jack Todd: Gallagher’s star shines bright as Habs wrap up weekend to rememberIt was that Saturday night rarity, a game people will actually be talking about five or ten years from now, long after it’s faded from the highlight reels and a 24-hour news cycle that seems to be down to about 24 minutes.Pittsburgh 7, Montreal 6. A touchdown, a convert and two field goals, scored against a goaltender who is supposed to be one of the best in the business and a backup who was one of the best not so long ago. Then the Canadiens climbed on a plane, flew to Boston, licked their wounds — and stole two points from the biggest, baddest team on the planet, right in their building. That’s what you call a weekend to remember. And even with that last-second Peter Budaj save on Tyler Seguin to preserve the 4-3 win over the Bruins, chances are what you will remember most is Brendan Gallagher.Gallagher is more fun than the 1960s. Looks like an angel, plays like the devil. Every time there was a scrum in front of the Boston net, it seemed, there was No. 11 disappearing beneath a sea of bodies in black and yellow, creating mayhem. The scoreline says he only had a couple of assists on the night, but Gallagher was as much a part of this win as David Desharnais, who had two goals. He was also a plus-3 and if my numbers are right, that makes him a plus-12 on the season. But if you’re thinking Calder Trophy, the numbers don’t begin to tell the story with Gallagher. He’s everywhere. He’s a nuisance. He streaks in on goal in a crouch so low he’s head-to-head with a goalie on his knees. He makes things happen.Give full marks for the “W” on this night to Alex Emelin, who took on the fearsome Zdeno Chara after Chara took exception to his hit on Seguin, and not only lived to tell the tale but also took Chara off the ice for 17 minutes. Ditto to Brandon Prust, who fought Milan Lucic. And don’t forget Budaj, who was thrown into a very tough spot after head coach Michel Therrien decided to go with him instead of Carey Price after Price was lit up by the Penguins. It was a gutsy move on Therrien’s part and it paid off. A loss would have made it tough for the Canadiens to contend for the division (and, most probably, the conference) against a Bruins team that holds three games in hand. But the Canadiens are back on top, at least for now. They took three points from two games you’ll want to remember for a good long while. And this Gallagher kid, well — you kind of have to see it to believe it.The win in Boston will go a long way to helping people forget that Price, despite all the success this season, is still missing a couple of lines on his résumé. He has been shelled in two big Saturday night games at home, when the Canadiens needed him to be at his best.Price still seems to lack the junkyard dog factor that made Patrick Roy great and Tim Thomas very good despite inferior talent.Someone with a sharper eye for goaltenders than I said that on his bad nights, he carries his catching glove a few inches too low. He gets a little too casual, he gets beat, he broods on it and he gets lit up like Vegas at night. It’s all stuff that can be fixed. The biggest missing line on the Price résumé, of course, is the serious playoff run. A good playoff run and Price will be in the conversation for Sochi — but right now, Corey Crawford of the remarkable Blackhawks has to be the starter. That should be all the incentive Price needs. That, and the fact that for one night in Boston, he had the best seat in the house to watch Gallagher in action.
TFS needs to stand up more, he is on his knees during the wind up. gCHuck needs to skate more, he is gliding around waving his stick like a pee wee. And his skating stride is awkward, not as bad as Le Brow but definitly in need of professional help. Toronto has Barbara Underhill on staff who is teaching our boys to skate, Toller Cranston?
gCHuk just needs to watch how his roommate Kid G is playing. Go the net with reckless abandon.Lebrow is the Habs version of the Jackal, needs lots of AHL seasoning.I'm mailing Clod a box of Kleenex today.
Poor Clawed. Poor poor Clawed. The shaved ape is in the box for 17 minutes cause he is a brainless thug Clawed not for any other reason. We can beat the thugs in Tranna and we can beat the thug Beaners cause we play hockey and we did in the Beaners with our backup. Everytime I look at Clawed I see that green ghost from the Ghostbusters. Such a funny little man and obviously a very poor loser.Poor Clawed. Go Habs!
Every time Gallagher went to the net he did a face plant because some fuck crosschecked him in the back. Chara was a fool. That did not warrant retaliation like that. Thanks, shaved ape for taking yourself out of the game.
Surprised?"The Bruins also are the third-most penalized team in the league at 15.6 minutes a game. The Philadelphia Flyers (17.2) and the Toronto Maple Leafs rank 1-2."
The cockroach praising Montreal, the Shaved Ape failing to kill Emelin and now this. Its the end times, I just hope we win the cup before the rapture hits.
Trade deadline only 30 days away. Trade of the day Budda to Canes for thier first. Toker is ready, tokers are always ready. In the draft I have my eye on Rasmus-Ristolainen Hunter-Shinkaruk and my top pick Zach Fucalewho shall be known simply as fucker.
I like that trade Steve, it wouldn't suprise me if some teams with goalie issues "cough" Philthy "cough" are eyeing Boo-dye call. And yes I would take Fucale with a first round pick. Toker and Fucker backing up TFS - I like it.
PatCHes is NHL 1st star of the week.http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=658498&navid=DL|NHL|homeEat shit kadri lovers.
The leaf traded Mike Brown to the Oilers for a pick. They may have to put Colton Orr on waivers to make room for loophole and fattin. If I'm Bergevin I'm trying to get him either on waivers or trade a 7th round pick for him. He can do what Cheese is doing right now which is nothing. He'd keep Luchicken from going after CHarger and the smaller Habs.
I have made it known I like the Orr.
Luchicken would decline any invitation from Orr just like he did with Laraque. He only picks fights he can win.
1. I'd like to start off this comment with a big FUCK YOU to Claude Julien. An embarrassment to the refs? HAHAHA. That is such a crock of shit. He can play mind games all he wants but the fact is his team couldn't win against a backup. 2. Wasn't able to watch but I just got caught up on highlights and such and all I can say is wow... Chara is a straight up monster. "Class act", my balls. Watching him skate down the length of the ice to slug Evelyn when the game is 3-3 just shows where his priorities are.3. That 4th Habs goal is hilarious. Five - (count 'em!) Bruins standing in front of the net.4. So lemme get this straight. When the Bruins beat us, it's cause they're the superior team in all aspects but when it's the other way around, it's cause we flopped around for 60 minutes. Mmhmm. Whatever lulls Claude to sleep at night.5. First in the East woot!!!
"my balls"? I thought you were a girl iRiRi.Actually the Broons were winning 3-2 when the ape lost his mind. What a fool.
@Maritimer, we got that straight about two years ago
@Maritimer - Hahaha I AM a girl! I knew I should have included "nonexistent" before balls...
I knew that, JK!
oh I get it, zing joke went right over my head and hit me in the balls.
*Emelin. Not sure when Evelyn joins the team.
Evelyn Perverly plays for the Broons
Has the leaf flatlined?
in all probablity, in ever probablity
Wadda ya mean there is no game tonite
What a bunch of sick fucks the broons are. Clod better watch what he says about the refs and embellishment, else his whole toilet bowl of turds will sit an entire game in a penalty box specially designed just for them.Turns out my Son was at the game, hope he made it out alive, fans are just like their team.Ignore that this is the broons, given the shit-stained-shaved-ape has a misconduct (2-5-10), does player safety review and may he possibly warrant facing Shanahan? Remember, I said ignore that it was a broon.I posted previously that I prefer G-kid, gCHuk was placed on a pedestal. Not saying gCHuk is not good, but I'll take guy smiley. As for ratface, I don't even think he has a face only a mother could love.Go Habs Go!!!
Ha Ha Bill Dautrieve can kiss my black ass!
How about a second for LeCave. Tampa gets half the cap hit so its only $3.5 mill a year. Even if only a Urologist, its a win win win win and win, keep on winning win.
NO MORE VINNIE TALK PLEASE
Mike, Steve is harmless.
I do not recognize the tag Mikw, maybe its Broon talking us out of a good trade. Just saying. We are a couple of pieces away from a parade, and no one can tell me that Le Cave for a second round is not a option.
not every reclaim project ends up in the toliet, I can name specific examples, ok google is broke, but there must be a specific example out there, otherwise most Hollywood movies would just be make believe
Didn't mean to scream Steve.I just don't think Vinnie is the direction this team should be taking into the future. He is signed through 2020! I like what Bergiven is doing with this team... and i doubt he'd make that move. As far as Orr off of waivers... i'd be onboard for that one.
Steve obviously saw the article Stu Cowan posted at HIO. I agree with Mikw McPhww, that ship has sailed Vinnie will finish out his days a snowbird in Tampa. I want Corey Perry a former 50 goal sniper who is only 28 or so and plays with an edge. Buyout KaKa and they have the cap space to do it. Bonus he grew up a Habs fan, make it happen MB.
WTF I must be in bizarro world, Milbury was actually defending the Habs?????
That Jon Stewart piece is good.It appears that Habs fans are not alone with the realization of what a disgusting bunch those Beaners are. My God what a thug both Lucy and the shaved ape are. Throw in Marchant Horton and Ferrence and that's the all asshole all star dream team. Just throw in Chopper Billy and that's one for the books.
Can't jump the broons;http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=658513&navid=DL|NHL|home
You will not read a better hockey article this year, unless the Habs win the cup and Pierce is on it. Some of the descriptions, memories and sentences will floor you as this is a piece by a great Massachusetts writer, one of the best regardless of what he covers. Merci, Charles P. Pierce, you remain my favourite writer for yet another fabulous reason.Hold It HighThe tradition of Habs hockey, and the storied Montreal-Boston rivalryhttp://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9013973/canadiens-hockey-montreal-boston-rivalry
Great read Moeman!
Kaleta gets five games, maybe we are on the right track, now how many games does the Shaved Ape get for his mugging (Y)
oh Buffalo does not have a financial interest in Comcast, oh dear,
Have the Bruins drowned in their tears yet? Holy fuck. And I think I'll go buy a lotto ticket now that Milbury just outright lambasted Bruins-central (and that troll KPD who's supposed to be a hall of fame writer? holy fuck the man is the biggest twitter douche and troll and attacks PK all day) while actually praising the Habs.
