Steve commented on the previous thread he was happy the Ducks re-upped Corey Perry so the Habs didn't have to blow up the team to get him. I said the Habs need to develop their own Corey Perry who was taken 28th overall by Anaheim in 2003. I went to verify the selection and went down the entire draft to see who the Habs picked that year. Of course Big TiTs was the first pick at 10th and it went down hill after that. The best pick in the whole draft that year = Jaro Halak the last pick in the 9th round No. 271.

Don't know if this was Timmins first kick at the can or not.
Yep, epileptic and the scouts said he could have been top 3 at the time. Still, Getzlaf, Perry and asshole Mike Richards plus Jeff Carter still available. Did the Habs scouts not watch the WJHC that year? That team steamrolled everybody and all those guys played on it. Massive fuck up. Oh well, water under the bridge.
"Owner Henry Samueli was among the hardest of hard-liners. The Ducks were not eligible for revenue-sharing in the previous CBA. He demanded it. And, to his credit, he delivered now that he got it."

I write this letter, my last letter, to you, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney. I write not because I think you grasp the terrible human and moral consequences of your lies, manipulation and thirst for wealth and power. I write this letter because, before my own death, I want to make it clear that I, and hundreds of thousands of my fellow veterans, along with millions of my fellow citizens, along with hundreds of millions more in Iraq and the Middle East, know fully who you are and what you have done. You may evade justice but in our eyes you are each guilty of egregious war crimes, of plunder and, finally, of murder, including the murder of thousands of young Americans—my fellow veterans—whose future you stole. Young went on to attack the "cowardice" of Bush and Cheney for avoiding military service themselves, and to encourage them to "stand before the American public and the world, and in particular the Iraqi people, and beg for forgiveness."
Its a good think MT2.0 does not play favorites, if Chocula can play Darche Vader on the PP, I can play Cube. And if a fast skilled line can use and anchor and you dont have a Mexicant around lay on the cheese.
“Chucky [Alex Galchenyuk] is a guy who’s filled with talent and has great speed,” said Armstrong. “It’s the same thing for Lars [Eller]. He’s been playing like a beast lately. He’s strong, fast and has great offensive capabilities. I’ll have to adapt, go deep in the other team’s end, collect loose pucks and help feed them. Simple, but tough hockey.”
Cheese, a slice of chedder melting on a burger looks would look fast to you. Never mind raising the puck, can you still raise your stick. He is the only guy in the league with tiny wheels in his stick blade.
2013-2014: 7 million 2014-2015: 9 million 2015-2016: 9 million 2016-2017: 10 million 2017-2018: 10 million 2018-2019: 9 million 2019-2020: 8 million 2020-2021: 7 million
Now there is a big chance I am wrong, but with Matteua being sent back to Jr, gCHuck remains the only player from last years draft plyin his trade with the men and Cheese.
"The first big sign was a truly embarrassing 5-0 loss to Montreal Feb. 11 on the night the franchise honoured Mats Sundin with a jersey raising ceremony."
This was a quote from an article in the Star regarding the latest leaf skid. Funny how the mediots have forgot all about that but have fond memories of the 6-0 thrashing the leaf laid on the Habs. Toronto went over the playoff cliff after that beating while the Habs have recovered quite nicely, thank you very much. Heh.
The last group of Americans to ride into a field of battle with all kinds of sabers and 18th century design were commanded by Mr Custer. I expect that Darcy Regier will wish he had left his heart at wounded knee after this confilict.
I only want to make an observation. It looks like Tinordi is the real deal. So lets get serious about his nickname. Tiny, really the big guy you call Tiny, and would you call a bald guy curly. Thats all I got against Tiny.
seriously, I am not an NHL caliber coach, NFL maybe, NBA definelty. But I have watched a few hours of Montreal play this year, and in no universe, in no place where merit trumphed favoritism would CHeese be promoted, let alone not having a personaly autographed seat in the pressbox.
Checking in here. See the Habs are playing down to their competitor's level...a-fucking-gain. I actually believe they could still win this game, something I couldn't say last year. Come on boys, do your fucking jobs.
They are making Enroth look like Terry Sawchuk. Couldn't hit the Bay of Fundy if they were standing on the end of a wharf. Max is doing SFA. It's a mess out there.
However, I thought I'd mention that Gord Miller of the toronto sports network has twice said the leaf beat the Habs 6-0 a couple of months ago. Hey fuckers! Remember when the sad sack Habs beat your leaf 5-0 last year on Mats Sundin night? No, I didn't think so.
They won't give it up. When the RDS feed went down I clicked into tsn to hear phlegmiller yip about the Habs having the most PPs and slanting it as being some kind of favouritism. Sick fuck.
I am going to a have to lay down for the third period, kinda like we have done for the first two. If I post it will be CHeese like, long after the event
Oh god, the Habs are going to lose every game this week. By the time they play the Pens/broons next week they'll be 5 points back and lose both those games, too. By the end of the season they'll be in 7th, gone in 5 games. It's all over folks. The ride shut down and we don't have any more quarters to keep it going. But it was great while it lasted!
