ScratCH a belly FHFers.
Pens in 6.
ReplyDeleteKings in 7.
Nice Sexy Friday.
ReplyDeleteI actually did play spin the bottle.
I digress ...
Go Pens!
I was wondering if someone would catCH the bottle.
DeleteMy spin the bottle days (35 years ago - yeesh) were focused on always hoping the bottle would land on a girl named Tracey. Wonder where she is now...
DeleteAlso too, strip poker and twister.
DeleteHappy SF everyone. Die Broons do not score a goal and I might win my hockey pool. CH the official team of the Star Trek Universe, Middle Earth and every magical place in the amalgamated galaxies.
ReplyDeleteHappy SF! Anybody still watching hockey? Moey still using anybody for her needs?
ReplyDeleteKris Letang could scratch an itch or two....but I digress. I'm gonna watch Pens/Beaners tomorrow night. Does anyone realize the four teams left are the last four teams to win the cup? But after watching some Kings/Wings/Hawks/Sharks action MB has his work cut out for him. So does Price.
DeleteRe: those four teams....you got that right. Serious shortage of talent on the Habs compared to those four, and Price....he needs to get his shit together. The only goalie he might match up to is Crawford. Maybe.
DeleteHappy SF everyone! Quality work moe!
ReplyDeleteWho am I supposed to root for now btw? Pens or Kings? I think I'm going with the Kings.
I am going with the Hawks because in their DNA is our next cup
DeleteGrower's makes a nice strawberry+rhubarb cider (7%);

Start the countdown to Draft day, 29 and counting.....
ReplyDeleteIt's funny to go on some of the other sites or blogs and read about fantasy trades by fans and you get the usual = DD, Moen, Weber, Diaz, etc., etc. for some top 3 forward or top 2 defenceman. I wonder if other team's fans sit around dreaming about who they could trade off their team for a particular Canadiens' player? Price? Not likely. Subban? Pfff, a diver and bad in the room. Pacioretty? Nope, too fragile. Galchenyuk? Maybe, but still has to prove himself.
I can't imagine any fan wanting any Hab on their team, based on pure hatred of the sweater and team alone. We're on an island folks.
The Stanley Cup is gonna go to the Hawks! That has been my call for some time now.
ReplyDeleteNope. Kings it is. I want more parade pics.
DeleteShould the Habs draft Laurent Dauphin he will be nicknamed Flipper.
ReplyDeletelove it
Delete5 PM hockey start? i haz a confuzed. ok I'll watch, but I'm not drunk enough
ReplyDeleteI am going to sample the Pens Buttman game. I hope it turns out better than what I did last night. I tried to watch Warm Bodies. I tell you anything sci fi I will give a total compromise of suspension of disbelief. This movie did not violate those terms, it was just so lame I felt like Justin Bieber parking his Ferrari.
ReplyDeleteits an 8pm start, fuck the bollocks we are the Sex Pistols
ReplyDeleteHawks win. Bryan Bickell is a beast and would look good in a Habs uni.
ReplyDeleteGo Sid, destroy those shit stained bettman backed broons.
Moey probably enjoying the Letang interview with Fried Man.
ReplyDeletelooks like the CBC stream is all burked up, so I will have to read about the outcome somewhere. The Vines Mary Jane, check it out.
ReplyDeleteHow's your Punjabi coming?
Deleteeven tried that stream and its all burkaed
DeleteYou think that's bad, the upstairs TV has been hi-jacked and it's flipping back and forth between Gypsy Weddings on TLC and the IWK telethon. I'm sipping on Glenfiddich scotch and waiting for someone to go to bed.
DeleteJust me and number one son in the house tonite and i got the tunes cranked.
DeleteHawks made me happy. Pens currently pissing me off.
ReplyDeleteOK, hockey is back on the upstairs TV. I'm now sipping on some cherry brandy. Did anyone see James Neal smoke Luchicken? Why did Dallas trade him again?
ReplyDeleteRatboy Marchand is one ugly motherfucker.
ReplyDeleteI was chatting with some fellow Sea Dogs fans yesterday, Ratboy's name came up, apparently his old man is just as big a jerk as he is. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
ReplyDeleteTwo dirty hits from behind. Cooke, a serial asshole and Ratboy, another serial asshole. This is what the NHL wants from it's best teams. Now, a fight between Malkin and Bergeron. Crosby and Chara jawing. I hope they all cripple each other.
ReplyDeleteI'm having fun all by myself.
ReplyDeleteI would join you but as I said before the CBC is not standing up to my funding. Not that I begrudge a single cent.
Deletewell its been a theme of mine for a long time
ReplyDeleteif the son can not exceed the father

ReplyDeletethat picture of perfection in the morning
of some star or model or celebrity whose
name i can not pick out of the chatter of the moment
but what I want to say is that first thing in the morning beauty
is the finest kind
and I think we are all so thankful
we have been washed many times in that shine
I had to google it but I refer to Miranda Kerr, and she looks more smoking to me than any painted up girl fantasy.
Deleteshe looks more smoking sleeping
Deleteits hard to believe in a world so ugly, such beauty is widely accessible.
DeleteWow, Pittsburgh sucks.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOO I can not take another Broon win
DeleteWow, Pittsburgh really sucks. 3-0 B's. Good think I'm half drunk.
ReplyDelete29 must be totally drunk, he's gone silent.
I am at this moment listening to Edith Piaf singing No Regrets, of course its in French but the meaning is the same.
DeleteA Broon win has some connection with Istanbul, and if you can make the link, take that to the bank, and I you are not a Steven Segal fan you have just wasted precious seconds of your life reading this.
ReplyDeleteSteven Seagal is the worst actor I've ever seen and his martial arts is not the greatest. That kick boxing shit don't scare me.
DeleteHis number one move is the slap, and he would slap you silly. I love him, in a manly way NTTTWT.
DeleteIf I had to make love to an action hero real life, it would definitely come down to John Claude van damme and Steven Segal. I just can not say what some might say suggesting Jet Li.
DeleteLike fuck he would. I've got 20 years of shotokan karate behind me that says otherwise and I still train. Hollywood makes those guys look better than they are.
DeleteOK. I'm done.
nite mate, I was going to bust your balls a bit, but knowing you have hands of steel made me reconsider.)smile)
DeleteRight now the Chieftons are rattling my windows and shaking my windows singing the time are a changing. I hope I can still hear on Monday.
ReplyDeletePJ Better Man and now I am signing off cause I an not the better man, she lies and says she is love with him and who are we to say dreaming in color is all that important, I know I do it, but I am not a better man, maybe a different man, maybe a other alternative man if you find a better man.
ReplyDeleteEddie Vedder. I have a man crush on him. NTTIAWWT.
DeleteNashville Skyline
ReplyDeleteIf the Broons defeat the Pens then fantasy and reality are all up for interpretation. I know one vision DIE BROONS
ReplyDeleteDidn't watch a minute of fuckface bettman hockey but I did read the latest new J.T.!
ReplyDeletehttp://habsloyalist.blogspot.ca/2013/05/the-buyout.html
I couldn't get my comment to post at J.T.'s site, so I'll do it here. Gionta and Markov will finish out their contracts unless the Habs are out of it by early 2014 in which case they could be traded to contenders for picks. DD is safe mostly because, well 1) he's the only quebecois currently on the team and 2) MB knows he's still 2 or 3 years at least from contending so fuck it let him play. He'll put up regular season points but once the playoffs roll around he's less than useless. It may not matter anyway since the playoffs may be a moot point. Moen, I think he's still a tradeable asset to the right team. So by process of elimination Kaberle is the buyout candidate unless MB can pull a rabbit out of his ass and trade him to some team that needs to reach the cap floor. I hope MB sticks to his guns and continues to build through the draft, it sure would help to land another top 3 pick somehow.
DeleteBrian Bickell sure would look good in a Habs uni though. Have I already mentioned that?
R.I.P. Jean Stapleton.
ReplyDeleteStifle yourself Edith!!
Deletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqtAkvVCI-8
DeleteFunny as fuck, Tiger Woods shoots 8 over par on the back 9 yesterday. Hey, that's a good round for me but I would have paid money to follow him around yesterday just to watch the club throwing and cursing. Looks good on him.
ReplyDeleteEverything leads to Montreal;
ReplyDeletehttp://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2013/jun/02/michael-douglas-oral-sex-cancer
Kinda shines a bad light on Catherine......
DeleteThe only thing worth thinking about until October. Should DGMB trade up to guarantee Anthony Mantha becomes a Hab? Cost could be as high as both of our seconds, and according to the experts even the Coachroach could find a top six player in the second round, where we have three picks. Two of these are practically first round picks. However in a hockey trade four quarters does not equal a dollar.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mynhldraft.com/2013-nhl-draft-prospect-rankings
Deletealso excellent player profiles at
http://lastwordonsports.com/2013-nhl-draft-headquarters/
Edmonton's 7th overall is available for some immediate help.
Deleteanyone over 26 they can have, I would think about including SuperPlexx. Losing him would mean we are not going for the cup in 14. However on a cup winning team he is the third line checking center. NTTAWWT
DeleteMontreal will not be winning a Cup anytime in the near future. SuperPlexx will be long gone by the time that happens. I was thinking they need defensive help...Gorges? Markov?
DeleteI am thinking the same way. I do not understand a pro team dymanic, but leadership I hope is way overrated.
DeleteYou have been McSplooged.
ReplyDeleteMB fires Price's coach. I liked what the first poster at HI/O said - "Somebody had to walk the plank."
ReplyDeleteI think the Habs should bring up a couple more rookies next year. Kristo for sure and bring back Lebrow. Invest in youth.
I am still on the TFS side of price. Toughest position in pro sports. So many factors to evaluate. Ok getting scored on once a game by a floater, not good. That is the thing, TFS has to work out. Its not a slump, its a daily thing.
DeleteGives up way too many bad goals. Team deflating but the code of silence prevails.
DeleteHard of harts, we folded against Ottawa. That did not even include all the buttman calls we would face going for the cup. Look at the Pens, it was NASCAR. Therefore we need much more skill and much more toughness. In the NHL today toughness trumps skill. In five years will we see a bunch of goons playing for the cup, probably. The draft will go like this, can he play hockey, yes, can he take a hit yes, can he take a hit from a 240 lb lineman who charges him without the puck, no, okay we pass. The only way to defeat the Buttman on Ice is to have two teams, a farm team with skill, and a real team with skill and brass knuckles. Your skill guys are going to be taken out, and the D is going to collapse until a puck can not enter the net except when some cement fails to stick.
ReplyDeleteI gotta agree with Mr Brian Burke, the only way to save hockey as we know it is a Euro ice. In an age were we have a handful of draft picks in the first round who will be over seven feet on skates, move the basket to eight feet.
Damien Cox wrote an article today, right on the money. It's the Dead Puck era Part 2, skilled players cannot function because there is no room to maneuver, coaches have systemed the game to death and players like Lucic or Marchand can foul you at will and Colon Campbell and Buttman have told the refs to put their whistles away. I actually don't blame the officials so much anymore they don't know what the fuck to call game to game.
DeleteI watched the World Championships and even though Team Canada did not prevail it was still a fun tournament to watch because of the international size ice the highly skilled players could actually carry the puck and make plays. It was hockey, not soccer on ice which is what the NHL has degenerated into. Even the Memorial Cup, players were actually allowed to score goals and make mistakes, what a concept! NHL hockey - the ultimate goal is to win every game 1-0. That and injure and concuss as many of your opponents as possible.
The death of hockey. Its here already. Nothing in the quarterfinals says any ting about hockey except it a game of attrition.
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteI didn;t see the game last night but how bad are the Pens? Jebus
ReplyDeleteWTF is going on. Are The Flightless Birds just setting the beaners up for the fall??? I haven't been watching, but I know for sure that I can't take another beaner triumph. It's like fucking Mordor or Blade Runner's LA. Dark smokey drizzle and absolutely no blue sky sunshine.
ReplyDeleteSomebody fix this!
Oh the horror, the horror.
DeleteDon't worry - even if the Pens crash and burn the Hawks have the Cup in the bag.
DeleteIt's not that. It's the fact that this ugly bunch of smelly dirty no good bunch of theevin mofos continues through the playoffs totally unabated. It's like that good guys finish last thing. The was it should be vs the way it is. The world need to right itself and fly right. It's prob the dark matter, or some shift in a universal constant ....
DeleteI think I need some hockey, some Hab Hockey.
No True Blood, No Flintstones, otherwise no huge arguments.
ReplyDeleteOMG I did forget,no Fringe, and No Trailer Park Boys.
DeleteI wonder if SaintPatrick33 would tell the Colorado GM to trade the first pick to Montreal as compensation for fucking them over 18 years ago?
ReplyDeleteNot sad for richards, jerk.
ReplyDeleteJust watched the short documentary on Clint Malarchuk on ESPN. Well worth 11 minutes of your time http://espn.go.com/30for30/
ReplyDeleteSaw that. Quite good.
Deletewhomimp, clumpik, clumpik, whats that sound. Its the klingons of the world no longer able to maintain their grip hitting the fan. Real Shit is in the forecast.
ReplyDeleteBruins beating the Pens would change the forecast to rotten turds in the system hitting the fan.
DeleteR.I.P. Deacon Jones.
ReplyDeletePittsburgh took advantage of two inexperienced, young teams to get to the conference finals. Boston is a different story, a battle hardened group of thugs, they are not the slightest bit afraid of Sid and company. Plus, Pitt's goaltending sucks rocks. I wouldn't be surprised to see Fleury bought out....and no, we don't want him.
ReplyDeleteI am expecting more fellow travelers.
ReplyDeleteAnd I had a great nickname in mind "Chernobyl."
ReplyDeleteRon Reusch says the reason the Canadiens didn’t sign Daniel Prybil is that his skating was considered deficient.
Can I say again we should have tanked, dive captiatn dived and got a top five this year. Ethics, who in the world has ethics except the Club Montreal?
ReplyDeleteJuce would slap you for thinking that way Steve.
DeleteIf I was running the club I would have done it. Not like the Oilers, no, but one more year, a stud to play with G chuck, oyyyyy.
Deletespeaking of Juce, I hope she is still reading even if she cant comment. Hi Juce, best regards.
DeleteWho will be the last to go without a visor? Here are some good bets:
ReplyDeleteAlex Galchenyuk, 19
The Montreal Canadiens rookie played with a visor all year and gave no indication he would change. But born Feb. 12, 1994, he is the youngest player eligible to remove it — and if he did he could go on the longest without one. Galchenyuk got into 48 games this past season.
there will be nobody on the leaf without a visor, cause they all know how Celine shoots the puck, everywhere expect the net.
DeleteI know everyone is down just thinking in the history books it could be recorded the Broons won another cup playing tainted hockey with help from above. Its like a F5 hurricane hitting the integrity of hockey. Never fear, history repairs itself over time, and our time will come, in 2015.
ReplyDeleteYes I am a Canadien.
ReplyDeletePens are fucking terrible. This series is over. If the Bs win another cup I'll puke
ReplyDeleteThere could/will be more and more Massholes:
Deletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=UwD_QiWPu8I
Get yer barf bag ready 'cause it looks like destiny is on their side. Destiny along with Buttman and his cronies.
DeleteSeriously, we all hate them, but you've got to tip your hat to Boston, they know how to win. Brian Burke did a marvelous job of building that team.
Liam Coughlin, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound centre from Catholic Memorial High School in the Boston suburb of West Roxbury, was among the 56 hopefuls who attended the Canadiens’ pre-draft combine Wednesday at the team’s training facility in Brossard.
ReplyDelete“He’s my sleeper,” said Trevor Timmons, the Canadiens’ director of amateur scouting. “He’s a strong, aggressive player. He’s been playing a lower level, but our Boston scout (Bill Berglund) recommended him.”
Coughlin, who is headed to Dubuque of the United States Hockey League in the fall, said he was a bit surprised to receive the invitation, but welcomed the opportunity.
“I figured this was a chance to measure myself against the junior players,” said Coughlin, who has attracted interest from a number of U.S. colleges. “I felt I did pretty good out there.”
Coughlin comes from a family of hockey players. His father, Kevin, played at Michigan State, while his older brother, Kevin Jr., played for Quebec and Saint John in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Coughlin said he aspires to be a two-way player and he considers his size and toughness as primary assets. Catholic Memorial, the school that produced Chris (Knuckles) Nilan, is located in one of the toughest neighbourhoods in the Boston area, but Coughlin pointed out that he grew up in South Boston, which is an even tougher neighbourhood.
Get him MB!!
I would have to consult a legal mind, but if Timmons is revealing before the draft he is a sleeper, it could be a diversionary tactic.
DeleteOh Yeah and fuck Buttman and his Broons.
ReplyDeleteWTF is with The Birds??
ReplyDeleteThis is where we place our hopes?
Holy fuck Aquaman there is no God and no justice in this dimension.
Time to move on.
Here's the thing...the fuckin' broons are not that good. I'm not sure what is going on anymore. The Pens looks good all season long (mostly) and I figured they would have an easy time with the b's. Because I have only caught snips of the games here and there I can't comment further - but it doesn't make any sense.
ReplyDeleteStill...an original six final should knock a hole in buttman's theories about expansion and all that. And another Hawks win is not going to be that far away.
Another tainted broons 'win'. Whodafuckingthunkdat?
ReplyDeleteR.I.P. Esther Williams, the original bathing beauty.
ReplyDeleteHere's what the New York Islanders are doing with Rick DiPietro. They are letting teams know that if they are interested in taking the goalie's contract off their hands, they will try to make it worthwhile. They'll consider taking a bad contract in return, maybe even a draft pick (or picks) or prospects. Still, it won't be easy. "That will have to be one heck of an asset," said another GM. A buyout now would have DiPietro on your books until 2029.
ReplyDeleteMake a play Mr Molson, Kaka plus your 15th pick for $24 million.
Heh heh, they're still paying Yashin to play in the KHL. Let them eat this contract too.
DeleteIf you really want to win and you can buy the 15th pick for $24 mill, why not?
DeleteThe 15th pick? Maybe if it was top 3.
DeleteThe Canadiens are drafting a goalie. I guarantee it. Price has about two more years to dig his head out of his ass.
Is it to late to join the WHL?
ReplyDeleteWhat we get for watching hockey on TV. You cant judge speed. The leaf gave Boston a go, I assume based on speed. The Pens seem to be slow and easy to hit. A Kings Broons finale will make many doctors rich.
ReplyDelete...but that ain't gonna e happening now is it!
Delete
