Morrison! The Doors! Yeah!!
ReplyDeleteNew York is not that dangerous. I was told by a couple of tour guides that former Mayor Rudy Guiliani hired thousands of police to patrol and clean up downtown Manhattan. I think they succeeded. There was a massive police presence and so many people walking about you couldn't get mugged if you tried. I did have one guy ask me if I could spare him a $1000. I just chuckled and kept walking. I thought Montreal was a big city until I went to NY. Mind boggling is all I got for now.
Steve, no need to call CSIS, I checked out OK at the border and my hand doesn't twitch. I haven't watched any of season 3 of Homeland yet, but I'm sure Brody is still working for Nazir.
Someday I'd love to take a tour of the Big Apple. Just not in the books right now. And of course a game at the Bell Centre is above that on the list.
ReplyDeleteHabs unbeaten in regulation in 10.
moe posted gameday thread at 11:11
I think we're gold Jerry, gold.
I don't see this streak ending until maybe the Blues 6 games from now.
GHG!
Can anyone recommend a good Habs book? Gotta start my Christmas shopping!
ReplyDeleteDryden's 30th anniversary of 'The Game'.
DeleteThanks, moe. Just ordered it off Amazon. Got myself a copy too.
DeleteJust in time, before Marois brings in her new 'let's keep the poor ignorant' bill.
DeleteGee, that didn't sound right. To clarify, the poor aren't ignorant, I was referring to her bill about buying books on-line.
DeleteLovin' that parody, moeman and the HD.
ReplyDeleteYou're in it!
DeleteCaptain Coward to 2 games, forfeits $66,666.66, just evil..
ReplyDelete*gets* 2
Deletedouble dion
DeleteThe 'no previous offense' that nets a first time offender a measly two Shanagames is a joke. So is Princess. Also, too, Elisha Cuthbert is proof that love is blind. Guess the Princess will have a nice two days off.
DeleteAuugh! The "Kitten Sweater Guy" - he makes my skin crawl! LOL
ReplyDeleteI sure hope PK respects Massa Richa'ds tonight. Respectfully checks him through the friggin' boards with his big black ass that is!
ReplyDelete+76
DeleteKings are a big, strong team that makes a mess of the opposing goalie's crease. Cube instead of Crankshaft?
ReplyDeleteDon't know why Murray's out, he's played the Kings often while a Shark.
DeleteSaw the Kings play in Tampa the year they won the Cup. I sat in their end and during the warmup noted they were a bunch of big mofos. No easy task tonight. Price will have to be air tight I think. Wonder if the mediots will be still saying Scri-Vezina if he beats the Habs?
DeleteShanahan also calls out another leaf slug slash in his Princessuspension explanation (also, wendelclarkson is a dirty POS);
ReplyDeletehttp://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=60&id=506897&lang=en
... and when I say dirty, I mean sneaky dirty.
DeleteJim's alive. Saw him yesterday and we went out for drinks.
ReplyDeleteFine work more.
Will type more later when this stripper gets off my lappppppppp
Merci 29. Hope your lappppppppp goes comfortably numb.
Delete*Fine work MOE. Like I said, busy hands...
DeleteMerci encore vingt-neuf. Loved the ref. to 'Jim'. It took me a couple of read as I said to myself 'is there an FHJim I've forgotten'.
DeletePure classless comments by the leaf in reaction to Princess' suspension. Zero concern for the opponent's health (see PatCHes). Clueless and classless Belinda shot at 'the kid Miller' for losing his feet and zero acknowledgement that it was due to a leaf (the new wendel) slashing him. What an arrogant and ignorant shit organization.
ReplyDeleteSaw the presser on tsn, Carla is just so full of excuses, has he switched places with Julia?
DeleteDespite themselves, the leaf org. divulges via that vid clip that the player's dressing room nickname for Princess is, wait for it, neufneuf. NTTIAWWT. Elisha, call me.
DeletePuck drop is 7:00pm
ReplyDeleteThe Danes sure do have an easy-on-the-eyes PM (aka Obama's new BFF). Well done LEGOnians.
ReplyDeleteAnd her first name is "Helle". Giddy. Up.
DeleteGo Flames.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Squid will score a hattie.
ReplyDeleteThey playing Karri Rämö?
DeleteNot sure.
DeleteTwo down, how many more Shanabans coming? FWIW, I hope he gives 'thorny' a minimum of 15. Too many broons think they can get away with any kind of on-ice shit. Time for a non-embellished message (not that it will help).
ReplyDeleteHomemade CHeese steak sammiCH. Sauteed green peppers, onions, touCH of garlic. I use pre-sliced eye of round beef fondue slices. Cheap. Easy. Quick. Also, Montreal steak spice and wait for it, Velveeta CHeese slices. +Stella!
ReplyDeleteLeftover steak sub and pizza here. 7-up tonight.
Delete7up makes me burp.
DeleteExcellent parody Moeman! Fuck da leaf and Go Habs Go!! Tonight is gonna be a tough game so eye on the prize muthers!!
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!

Don't know much about the kid but a good read and good luck to him.
Delete... and IMO indirect insight as to how the cockroaches have influenced too many with their Habs and sens hate. The leaf fake claim to being Canada's team has been fuelled by the shitstained cbc/hnic. Sick fucks.
I admit I totally think we are losing this game. But HANG ON BOYS!!!
ReplyDeleteGYFHG!!!!
Faith, baby faith! Historically, Habs win vs Hollywood.
DeleteTFS is 3-0 with a 1.67 GAA in three lifetime starts against L.A.
GYMFHG!
Great attitude juce!

Deletetsn doesn't shut up about LA's face-off skills. PleXXXe wins the face-off.
ReplyDelete"Huge news has come the way of Johnny Cash fans today – myself included – with word that a brand new record will see the light of day in early 2014. Out Among The Stars is the first new release since the American Recordings series came to a close in 2010 and will be compiled of songs recorded by the legendary Country Music star in the Eighties.
ReplyDeleteThe tracks on Out Among The Stars were originally recorded in Nashville, Tennessee at Columbia Studios in 1981 and 1111 Sound Studios in 1984 and produced by Billy Sherrill, the architect of the "countrypolitan" sound who was heading A&R at CBS Records Nashville at the time.
The recordings, which have never been released in any form, are not demos, outtakes or alternate versions. They remained in the vaults during the years Columbia Records released Johnny Cash's last albums for the label and were subsequently forgotten."

Dennis Farina, one of my faves.
ReplyDeleteI 've switched channels hoping to bring them luck, but I think they're well beyond that tonight. What a stinker.
ReplyDeleteLeft the curling rink - it was 2-0. Didn't have a good feeling - those late period goals you know. Seeing the score now, I think I'll check out Mob City to see if it's any good. Who knows, maybe the Habs have a Christmas miracle in them, if so, I'll check out the miraculous hi-lites tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteVictoria's Secret fashion show starts at 10 (CBS / Global). You know, for holiday shopping
ReplyDeleteStuck in the zone and out of gas. C'mon Habs, Goooooooooooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was brutal.
DeletePut the Lego line back together since you're switching everyone tonight.
ReplyDeleteHolyyyyyy shit.
ReplyDeleteThat was brutal.
DeleteLA looks pretty good. Now Bergevin has an idea what he needs. A Kopitar at center instead of DDD would be a good start.
ReplyDeleteThink I'll call it a night early. Still tired from a 12 hour bus ride yesterday. This is just a little reality check.
ReplyDeleteGreat line from 'Get Shorty'; "How'dyou think dat happened? Beats the shit out of me."
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!
Cash it .
ReplyDeleteHow the hell do they let him come in and take a shot while they're right there?
ReplyDeleteNo excuse but outside of the first period PPs they are two steps too slow tonight.
DeleteCan't say I disagree, though the Lego line was creating chances at least.
DeleteJust give me 1 goal, please?
ReplyDeleteI'm not watching, but just checking the boxscore makes me wonder 'what if' that asshat Mario Tremblay had pulled Roy after the 1st intermission when it was 5-1. I wonder how different our Habs would have been for the past 18? years now. And since I'm there, I personally pin more blame on Ronald Cory. Savard and Demers in my mind should have never been fired and replaced by 2 inexperienced guys in such important positions. Yep, it still hurts.
ReplyDeleteOuch is right.
DeleteWell, that was not pretty.
ReplyDeleteHope they shut out those disgusting laffs tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThe Doors say they were 'blown away'.
ReplyDeleteBonsoir les ami(e)s.
Goodnight moeman, thank you.
DeleteLet's just hope this isn't The End of our good play. We need to Take it as it Comes. Hopefully we won't be Waiting for the Sun. Five to One we still make the playoffs and Break on Through.
DeleteThe Habs let the doors hit them in the ass.
Delete'Night folks.
ReplyDeleteMeh, honestly I'd rather a loss like this than giving up a late one to lose. Less stress. We all know it wouldn't have changed the game, but how on God's green Earth did that 3rd goal count?
ReplyDeleteEven the leaf fans at TSN were wondering about that.
DeleteDid we win?
ReplyDeleteNot even a moral victory.
DeleteBlow it up, call the tank commander,
ReplyDeleteDoesn't sound like I missed much...or much that was any good at least...never mind - get 'em next time! BHMT (Big House Move Thursday) is almost upon us people. I shall return in time for the Isles on Saturday night...Be good to each other and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!!
Kmaxxx do not leave your five hole open. Believe me now and I will tell you later.
DeleteThe thing that actually bothered me in the game last night was after that blatant interference on the 3rd goal (even the LA guy looked at the ref afterwards), no Hab seemed to argue with the ref. Gio should have been ni the ref's face, MT2.0 should have been screaming from the bench, Price should have been there. But no one said anything, the puck was dropped 15 seconds later. It just showed me the fight that was in the guys last night. Not that they ever seem to get passionate about anything, mind you. I know PK can't do anything, lest TSN label him an angry black man and the leaf fans hide their white women.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing they can do after that game last night is file and forget. Nobody goes 82-0.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, one thing I noticed and and I'm sure a lot of folks did, despite what women will tell you....size matters.
Go Kings!
ReplyDeleteCash it, Kings.
ReplyDeletehehehhehe
ReplyDeleteThese don't look anything like last night's Kings.
ReplyDeletelaff tie with a 5 on 3.
ReplyDeleteI think the Kings spent all their energy on Montreal.
ReplyDeleteKings kill the 2nd of the laff pp, get a 2 on 1, score but won't count because of a fight with lupul at the other end.
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is with the leaf and their freaking horsehoe?
2-1 Kings. Man tonight's Kings are making the laffs look good.
ReplyDelete3-1 Kings under 2min left in the game.
ReplyDelete3-1 Kings final.
ReplyDeleteDie laffs!
