All season long I (and others) have trashed at various times the coach or certain under performing players. All part of being part of a community and a fan. It's been quite a ride and it's been an honour and a privilege to cheer on (or curse) the Montreal Canadiens with all you good folks here at FHF. Thanks people and GO YOU FUCKING HABS GO!!!!!!!

I have found though that the guys happen to do well when it is sunny and nice here. Not so much on overcast or yellow dust days (sand from the Gobi desert). The final will be worth watching only to see Kreider getting taken off in a stretcher the first time he "accidentally" runs Quick/Crawford. The West don't play that game.

Tonight the refereeing was suspect, but that's not what killed the boys. They just didn't have it. Time to wait and see what unfolds in Burgervan's office. Go Kings...I guess. Well, now I can finally get some stuff done around the house. It's great hangin' with you guys. I'll drop by now and then during the off season to check in.

ReplyDeleteMan, this one was tough to swallow but 10 playoff wins is a pretty great accomplishment. I'm proud of them and can't wait to see them go even deeper next year!

ReplyDeleteI mean, the consolation prize is that there was no way they were going to win the Cup this year anyway. This gives them more information moving forward to build a Cup contending team. We have to hope they go with youth next year and let some of the vets who just ran out of gas in the playoffs go.
