Happy SF!
ReplyDeleteNice homage to the beginning of the football season with pic 6. Any day after the Packers lose is a good day...except my oppenent in the Fantasy League has Russell Wilson.
Rogers E-mail Update Report: The purpose of this report is to report that there's nothing to report.
According to TSN, we can't talk hockey yet. Just leaf. Lots of hype about Robidas being healthy for season opener and how an injury proned 37 year old dman will save the leaf. Also saw the discussion about IF Babcock was to leave Detroit after this season, there's one obvious choice of where he would land. Can you guess where?
Everyone wants to go the gta, just ask their fans.
DeleteNice catCH on Pic 6 Pad.
DeleteGo Steelers!
Happy SF to all. Sadly Clooney's off the market. What does she have that I don't, damnit?
ReplyDeletePatches wants to be captain. I'd be OK with that. And I'm OK that he said as much. I haven't read the comment sections yet, but I'm sure he'll be shit on by leaf and other fans for not being humble enough or some stupid shit. What's wrong exactly with guys like Patches and especially PK actually speaking their fucking minds instead of acting like sheep like 99% of the players do with their canned answers?! Fuck them all. Dave Reid (whom I actually like as an analyst, even though I think he's a former broonleaf...maybe) says PK is awesome in and out of the room and should get the C. Whatever. Those 2 plus GKid should each have a letter.
ReplyDeletePFK must be Captian otherwise you just blew 1000 million
DeleteIdiot leafies already slagged PatCHes on story posted Aug 25th. This came about while he was on TSN690 and was asked directly asked if he would want to be captain. I guess they wanted to bring it up on TV now. Isn't it logical that teammates would discuss potential captaincy when the current captain is no longer there? Should they just ignore the subject and not talk about possibilities?
DeleteAs for PFK in the room, everyone who's been in the room says he good in the room, but that rectal orifice we all know as pj stuck, spread his filth about him in the media and the CotU ate it up hook line and sinker because as moeman says, IATG.
DeleteI'd be cool with PatCHes as Habs Captain. Well-spoken, classy, hot wife, needs to buff-up his Francais and has a hate on for all things broons.

ReplyDeleteIn a world where most things are designed to trick you we have sexy Friday.
ReplyDeleteAt least turning a trick is honest work.
"If the Canadiens made me an offer, it goes without saying that I would listen to what they have to offer me," the Montreal native told QMI.
ReplyDelete"This is Carey Price's team. I would definitely still want to be the No. 1 goalie, but it wouldn't bother me to play in only 20 to 25 games during the season if I know I'll have fun playing within a winning team."
With all due respect, yes, Marty, this is TFS's team, so how could you be #1?
Sorry, that was Brodeur.
DeleteThree #NHL teams invited @diaz_raphael_61 to training camp as a try-out. He'll take the weekend to decide where to go. #freeagent
ReplyDeleteFinally, the network schedule put up for all pre-season games, all on RDS. woohoo! GHG!!!
ReplyDeletePre-season or not, bring it on broons. Go Habs Go!!!
DeleteDie broons Die!!!
DeleteNice ones all round Moeman! Now about Marty...would having a legendary goalie on the bench push TFS even harder? Let's not forget he has a dodgy knee that could give again m...or when they next play the fucking rangers
ReplyDeleteSee that one finger salute by Joanie in the pic o' the day? That's for you Fat Marty. Fuck you.
DeleteSame as Vampire Dan. Didn't want to play in Montreal until they had nowhere else to go.
Fuck fat Marty. We have two quality backups with good knees. We have a good young team with good chemistry. He'll only ruin things. Retire Marty, svp.
DeleteYeah, who needs a 42 year old two-timer. Fuck him.
DeleteMarty should try out for porn if he has the stuff
DeleteDidn't Fat Marty say he didn't like (read hate) the Habs growing up a Nords fan?
DeleteFor those interested, 24CH with extended comments and behind the scenes on youtube.

Is it September yet?
ReplyDeleteOh wait, it is!
Happy belated SF everyone. Fine work pushing Blogger's no-nudity policy to the limit moe!
There's a Blogger no-nudity policy? I need me an all-things-web lawyer (pro bono SVP!).
DeleteIf I am ever going to shake the shackles of wage slavery and fly above the earth I believe I have made a demonstration, tell your friends you read it here first.

ReplyDeleteThe Detroit Red Wings are considering adding to their defensive depth in the form of 28-year-old Raphael Diaz, who was offered a training camp tryout by the team, according to MLive.com.
ReplyDeleteDiaz's most desirable asset from Detroit's perspective is his right-handed shot, which the Red Wings lack on the blue line. He played for three teams last season, starting with the Montreal Canadiens before being traded to the Vancouver Canucks and then to the New York Rangers before becoming an unrestricted free agent.
The training-camp presence of Diaz, who appeared in four games during New York's run to the Stanley Cup Final, might also put pressure on restricted free agent Danny DeKeyser to sign a new deal, since Diaz could take his spot on the roster.
""Unfortunately, crowds and disorganization left some fans feeling disgruntled by the event, which featured appearances from players such as Phil Kessel, Jonathan Bernier, Jake Gardiner and Nazem Kadri. Many who paid the entry fee ($39 plus applicable fees for adults) felt they did not get their money's worth and took to Twitter to vent their frustrations: The official Maple Leafs Twitter account responded to many of these complaints with a message along the lines of: "We appreciate the feedback and understand there are ways we can improve on for the event. Thanks for attending." Maple Leafs fans are used to disappointment, but usually they don't experience it until the season is underway."" Translation: thanks for your money, come again.

#TMLtalk #TMLFanFest14 @MapleLeafs Spent $$ to line up all day. My son totally disappointed. Met no Leaf players. Bad way to build support.
I like this one:
Delete@MapleLeafs @Seanpcleary LMFAO! We appreciate that we fucked you over, and we'll continue to do so, because we can
Hang on...isn't every day a Fan Fest if you are a leaf fan? you spend your life in a delusional bubble where everyone smiles and the sun shines and no one every get ill and the leaf win the cup always...PMSL...fanfest infucking deed!!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, my sides are splitting.
Delete+67. Also, Dave Keon hasn't smiled in a generation.
DeleteOkay and I would love to hear from KmaXXX on this one. Braveheart! I gyp a line from Deadwood, "Anglo Saxon Cocksuckers" instead of San Francisco Cocksuckers, but why is cocksuker a pejorative anyway?
ReplyDeleteWho was this fucking hack?
ReplyDeleteÉlise Béliveau, the 83-year-old Hall of Famer’s wife of 61 years, was surprised in recent days to be informed by a friend of at least one French-language Internet report last week stating Béliveau was in critical condition.

Found this guy Andy Mailly-Pressoir.

Stubbs earlier via twitter before the article: Just spoke with Élise Béliveau. Jean is recovering from a bout of pneumonia; frankly, she's fed up w/ those spreading rumours.
DeleteWho the hell could blame her, fucking hacks.
Those pieces of shit at TSN posted the story and under 'related' they caption the passing of Vadnais. FUCK OFF I DON'T LIKE IT.
DeleteGeez, I was wondering what the hell was going on. Seriously, Als?
