Holy SF, moeman! You can never go wrong with TFS and MM.
ReplyDelete... and Shea and Margot and Raquel.
Deleteif you want to see the real Margot, watch Z World class beauty and me loves some Irish.
DeleteGood to see you, I was getting worried you'd been kidnapped by 29.
ReplyDeleteThanks Brother M.
DeleteWas watching the DNC convention in its entirety.
love the librarian thanks Moema. If Trump owned the Habs he would fire DDD, got my vote. Oliva Munn should be the first female from birth US president.

I'm sad to announce that today is my last day in this office. I'll miss this place.
Think it was the 'Uber is a dick' thing?
wow a real guy leaving his favorite place for no reason explainable, where have we seen that befor? Somebody have DDD XXX pictures on his place?
Deletegood news bad news. we will not likely lose any players on waviers, cause no one want these fuckers

Hello friends. I just finished binge watching Stranger Things (Netflix series). I believe you should do the same. Lynch, Carpenter, King, Spielberg. All on your TV. If you like:
ReplyDelete-the 80s
-dark synth pop
-dungeons and dragons
-sci-fi
-mystery, horror, comedy, adventure, drama
-Wynona Ryder
-Awesomeness
You will like this. This is what they're talking about when they say "Golden Age of Television". And I can't wait for the soundtrack! (As a child of the 80s the synth pop got me, but anyone who likes a dark acoustic cover of Bowie will be impressed).
love the 80's will check it out. I am down to Mr Robot and Killjoys.
DeleteGreat SF Moeman. Halfway through the summer.
ReplyDeleteDDD has been spotted working out. He dragging around 2 maybe 3 lego tires while wearing plastic beads.
ReplyDeleteGo knock their socks off tonight, PK!
ReplyDeleteSo, did PK tell any eMTy jokes last night?
ReplyDelete'Subban later wore a cowboy hat and dedicated some country songs to NHL personalities, including one to his former Canadiens teammates who are "trying to bring the Cup back to Montreal playing Michel Therrien's system."
DeleteThe song was "Good Luck with That" by Zach Paxson.
He touched on the trade throughout the show and there were several jokes that were less than flattering to the Canadiens, but Subban made sure to end by thanking the team that traded him away, standing on stage next to Elise Beliveau, the widow of late Canadiens great Jean Beliveau.'
https://www.nhl.com/news/subban-jokes-about-canadiens-in-stand-up-comedy/c-281268714
Also..
"now I'm free to do as many low-fives as I want" ,
'"over the years people in montreal embraced me with open arms & those who didn't. Well those are the people who traded me"'
The gala raised $130,000 for the kids. Good on PK and Bruce Hills of JFL for approaching him to host a gala.
I find this disgusting and totally exceptable....MT and MB probably paid the store to put it there, right in the window.
ReplyDeletehttps://twitter.com/seandelville/status/760277633921724417
totally *unacceptable*
DeleteCan this be real? Is this actually in a store window? If so, how is it possible and media isn't all over it?
DeleteGotta be a photshop or something, right?
DeleteeMTy and BBQ had their first meeting, BBQ announced his reitirement following the meeting.
ReplyDelete"Can someone get me a beer?" asks @PKSubban1. "a good beer, none of that Molson stuff."
ReplyDeletePat Dusseault called 690 to talk about a discussion hosts were having about PK saying he wouldn't take shots at the management but then he did. Dusseault explained that he spoke for a lot of Habs fan when writing the gala and there were some also jokes that PK rejected. Worth a listen when they put up the podcast.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.tsn.ca/radio/montreal-690/pat-dussault-pk-subban-was-amazing-to-work-with-1.536730
DeleteGood to see that PK didn't pull any punches and took shots and Dumb and Dumber (and Dumberer). You decide who is who in that statement - could be all interchangeable.
ReplyDeleteOK - I think we can now move on. How about some BBQ stories? I get the sense he isn't quite as thrilled about heading to Montreal as the other guy is about heading to Nashville. Probably the AF quotient.
There is an article in yesterday's Gazette asking where is Shea Weber. He's not said too much if anything about the trade. I suspect he is not thrilled to have to move from Nashville to Quebec, it's going to be quite the culture shock. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he decided to retire after meeting with eMTy and Bargain Bin.
ReplyDeleteI'm also starting to think last season's train wreck is just the beginning of the slide under AF. Things could get worse before that get better. Maybe Molson will then decide to lob a hand grenade into the foxhole.
Not to mention all the taxes he'll be paying now.
Deletehe already has the money, if he cares about a million here or there he should move back to America.
DeleteJuce you muser, where is the story about BBQ being betrayed?
DeleteIt comes back to the Stinky story, you know playing for Buttman I was not wiling to give up 2 mill a year to play in Canada, sorry, despite all the Hyundai adds I could have got.
DeleteI used to go to Thialand on biz. Kickboxing is like Karoke in bars there. The participants hit each other hard but in comparison it would be like us having a nose picking contest. This is the NHL under Buttman, and I swear he will kill it with his lack of passion. The mob may be corrupt but non pasionate not.
DeleteRewatched the 2 Star Trek reboots on the weekend and off to see Beyond this evening with my girls. Can't wait - big fan of the casting choices for this reboot and I'm a huge Idris Elba fan. If you haven't watched Luther, do it. Also started watching Enterprise. Only Trek series I haven't seen but will watch even though fellow Trekkies have poo-poohed it. Watched 2 episodes so far and the one thing I have trouble with most is the cheesiest of opening themes. If you haven't watched or aren't even a trekkie just take a listen. Holy cripes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBcXXfzrqco
ReplyDeleteLive long and prosper.
I have to say I didn't like "Beyond" and after giving it some it some thought, I am giving up on the rebooted Kelvin time-line. Meh, I'll just watch the Shatner and Nimoy TV shows and movies on my dvd collection. Here's hoping the new CBS tv show in 2017 will work out. It will be part of the original time-line.
DeleteI actually liked the story and that they put a bit more humour into it - the Bones character maybe tries a bit too hard at times to be Deforest Kelley and really there is only one. And *spoiler here for anybody thinking of seeing this* defeating the swarm with rock and roll? Really? Anyway overall I enjoyed it. But I enjoy pretty much anything sci-fi.
DeleteAnd a belated RIP to young Chekov played by Anton Yelchin. Shame - so young.
the prime directive is that there always be a prime time star trek offering that is based upon logic not kardashian appeal
DeleteSome nice jabs by PFK.
ReplyDeleteand well deserved.
Deletemild but effective. I wish he had said as I understand the system its ice the puck hope it takes a crazy bounce and scores and otherwise let tfs stop the puck.
DeleteOn the plus side it Trump gets elected its a lock that eMTy becomes sec of defence.
DeleteCanada is the only sane G7 country right now. Maybe JT will ask me to go run Italy?
ReplyDeleteThere is no shortage of parts of the world that create incredible living artworks. Swiss Italians have a certian Michlangelo thing I admire. Seriously have you ever seen Davids pensis, its huge.
DeleteWhat I really hate about today's NHL, it's all about "systems". Fuck that, go try to score some goals and win. That was the PFK method.
ReplyDeleteDuring the gala, PFK said 'you have to respeck the system'
ReplyDeleteThey say he dedicated songs to NHL players but the only ones I heard were about the Habs until I caught one on the news where he said, 'you know if you breathe on Brad Marchand and a ref is around he falls down so I dedicate 'I Fall To Pieces'. I'd like to hear who and what some of others were.
I think they should sell dvds of the gala, I'm sure that would raise a bit more money for the hospital.
MB ranked 26th among GMs
ReplyDelete'Marc Bergevin has signed numerous deals that carry incredible value for the Canadiens, but his allegiances and mismanagement of P.K. Subban stands to define his tenure."
eMpTy ranked 24th among coaches.
'Michel Therrien is a strong strategist, but his failure to adjust to given circumstances led to the demise of the Canadiens last season. Carey Price's injury didn't help either, but his misuse of Alex Galchenyuk and others has led to lots of scrutiny in Montreal.'
'strong strategist'????
Hillary is an "ethical warrior"
DeletePFK wrote a letter to the kids which they read in this video

If anyone's interested, Canada is playing their first Olympic match in women's soccer against the evil Aussies. They scored 19 seconds in, the quickest goal in Olympic history (men or women).
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, since then Canada has gotten a red card and maybe their goalie is injured now. But it's still 1-0!
and they all got Zika and no spawn ever
Delete(((Pat Dussault)))
ReplyDelete@PatDussault
@RickMoffat PK didn't know he'd be taking most of those shots until 4pm. I wrote the whole show, so if you're gonna blame someone, blame me!
Canada wins 2-0 (Aus is ranked 5th in the world, Canucks 10th, and they were a woman down). Captain Canada, Sinclair, scored the second goal.
ReplyDeleteCongrats ladies!
DeleteAlso, baseball/softball, karate, surfing, skateboarding and sports climbing (?) will be at the Olympics in 2020.
ReplyDeleteI think most orgasams from any source should be Olympic. Steve has blown a hole in the ceiling but he still is going for Gold, and with that shot despite his age do not count him out.
DeleteI remember the year when Canada was screwed over by the refs.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.theplayerstribune.com/we-need-to-talk-about-concussions-right-now/
ReplyDeleteAlso, quick update, I've been almost 100% symptom free all summer.
That's good. How's the drinkin' arm?
DeletePretty good.
DeleteAlso, I bought a really long straw.
That's great news moeman plus the old adage holds true, when there's a will, there's a way.
DeletePFK deservers to grieve but he needs to move on, and so do we, in the words of a survior of the fire bombing of Dresden, so it goes.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. The good folks at the Gazette need to stop enabling PK. I would rather talk about Rad and strippers. Also, can't wait for him to snap in practice and take out AF.
DeleteThat's exactly what AF and Co. are hoping for, that the summer months will be enough time for fans to forget.
DeleteI expect WW3 will start when CHé has enough of the system and assaults AF. He then flees to Russia on a private jet full of strpper hostages. Canada demands his return and NATO invades when Putin threatens to invite PFK in as a negotiator.
Deletehttp://www.todaysslapshot.com/one-timers/when-the-nhl-lost-its-creativity/
ReplyDeleteCan't seem to surf the interwebs without tripping over a story on His Flashyness.
ReplyDeleteAt lease he's not shy.
We need some hockey.
Go Habs
I know nothing about suicide sqad except its been overhyped and that is not a good message.
ReplyDeleteInteresting fact about the AF golf tourney. They only use balls recovered from water hazards, no new balls allowed. Also DDD gets to hit from the ladies Tee.
ReplyDeleteIts obvious that CHey is NHL ready. I expect AF will play him as a urologist and not critize him until he matures.
