Me(t)h.
ReplyDeleteThe league should give the leaf more 5 day breaks. There are currently zero leaf stories on the SN site. Now if your pleasure is pleasuring yourself to the sight of nearly naked TML boys, head over to Tsn.
Go Habs. Forget this one and move on. Looking forward to watching Child's Play VI - the return of CHucky on Saturday night...except I'll be watching the Pats crush the Texans.
Great SF once again Moeman - NOAR! So the big issue this season - instead of being PFK, id the PK. In short (DDD) - it sucks wind! Every game the Habs are giving up power play goals against and it is killing them. Last night wasn't down to that - but they did allow 2 PP goals against. Is Vodkov being out the reason? Bergevin's cherished D is very suspect and that is a worry. Dish has been a real threat offensively and pretty dependable defensively but the PK is killing them. I wanted to type as mpore regulars return from injury..." but this is what always seems to happen...The Habs get a number of AHLewrs up and they have great performances, only to be sent back down as soon as whoever they were called up for is ready to return. Sherbak came up, scored a goal and was a spark...but he knows as soon as someone is ready to play again he's gone so his energy level drops. Whatever happened to making the club on merit and staying there on merit? If I am on the Rock and get the call, I'd like to think that if I went in, busted my ass, scored some goals, made some plays, kicked some shit, I'd get to stay in the show - not wait until next pre-season to try make the team. Sure he isn't the finished article but so what - keep him hungry and playing like he did the other night and it's a recipe for success. Make whoeverinthefuck is injured ear their place back. That is what is going to happen when DDD comes back - and he'll be in the lineup not based on anything he has done - rather because he has been free to suck on AF's dick for the past couple of months without a game to interrupt him. That's what really has me worried on Friday the 13th! Oh yeah - and the Rangers tomorrow night...Based on last night - I am really worried...
ReplyDeleteIf MB thinks they've got a shot to win this season, I'm first in line to get Matt Duchene out of Colorado. TheBrown thinks Joe Sakic is ready for a tear-down/rebuild. Slick Joe is looking for young D prospects, the Habs have a few to spare. gCHuck and Matt would be a great 1-2 punch down the middle for years to come. Do it Marc, you had the balls to trade PK this should be a piece of cake.
ReplyDeleteNice Sexy Friday, love the vintage strippers.
The Habs are 11-0 on Saturday nights this year. They have 11 more Saturday nights. That's good.
ReplyDeleteThe Habs are 0-5 on Friday nights this year. They only have 2 more Friday nights. That's good.
GYMFHG!
Great SF as always.
In the post-game interview, Carey Price was asked if goaltender coach Stephane Waite had offered him any advice on how to deal with being shell-shocked like that. Below is Carey's quote.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is all inside your head he said to me
The answer is easy if you take it logically
I'd like to help you in your struggle to stop some pucks
There must be fifty ways to stop those goddam fucks
He said it's really not my habit to intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning won't be lost or misconstrued
But I'll repeat myself at the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways to stop some pucks
Fifty ways to stop those goddam fucks
You just act real scary, Carey
Make a new plan, man
You don't need to be nice, Price
Just get yourself free
Don’t make a mess, TFS
You can always discuss less
Don’t drop to your knee, see
And get yourself free.
He said it grieves me so
To see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do
To make you smile again
I said I appreciate that
And would you please explain
About the fifty ways
The rest is private."
Excellent!!
DeleteNice!
DeleteBrilliant!
DeleteGreat effort Pad! Let's hope they take inspiration from your hard work.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to a Canadian legend, Haley Wickenheiser on her retirement. You are Canadian pride.
ReplyDeleteWTF is wrong with people?? Doesn't life have enough challenges already that you feel the need add discrimination and hate into it?
ReplyDeleteTSN690's Habs' reporter Amanda Stein yesterday:
These r frightening times. I was just stopped abruptly at the mall by a woman, looked like she needed directions. Instead she grabbed my arm
...and looked me right in the eye and said "Get the f**k out of here you Jewish criminal!" Squeezing my arm, I quickly ran. And broke down..
in the corner and called my friend. I am still shaking.
I think I'm done wearing my Star of David, which truly, truly saddens me.
Hate spreads quickly. This happened right here in my own city of Montreal, at the Eaton Centre.
She should report this to the police, I am sure surveillance cameras have this bigot on tape.
ReplyDeletegCHyuk and Shaw will play tonight.
