  2. We have faint hope of rising above 10 in the draft. I hope we are in for a lottery pick. Nevertheless from 10 to 16 are some good centers including Joey Velcro. I am all in for dumping anyone over 25 before the deadline, as we are at least 3 years from having a competitive cup team.

I listen to TSN 690 on the net. If I have to watch Oprah one more time, I am going to get my Dyson and give myself liposuction.

M have you seen the retro bullit? My only lamet, if they can make a pickup out of aluminum why not a sports car?

  4. Logan Shaw is our saviour - 25 years old, 3rd FLA round draft pick from Glace Bay, NS. Played two seasons in the Q - for Quebec - so might even be able to say un mot ou deux pour les médiots fracophone. 6'3" and horrible at face-offs. He is here to boost Druid's confidence at Center perhaps?

  5. Login Shaw is described as a "journeyman" which is perfect because no one knows journeymen like bbb!

    1. Excellent call K3X! And now, in true Journey fashion, a rewrite of Don't Stop Believin' must now be written for our dear lover of all Journeymen, DGMB.

Medical update: Andrew Shaw suffered a lower-body injury on January 13
against Boston. He will be out indefinitely, and his condition will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

  7. Regarding SSR being out, good thing we got us a new Shaw. He was brought in to pull this team into contention, so we should call him Rick.

    4. O’Riordan, her former husband Don Burton, their two kids and a child from Burton’s previous relationship spent years splitting their time between Ireland and a cottage north of Peterborough, Ont., which is about 90 minutes northeast of Toronto.

“What’s amazing is — I actually have problems getting it into my head — Canada is so big, right? And Ireland’s small you know; you drive from coast to coast in three hours. You can really get lost here, and I like that,” she said.

  10. Inspiration hit:

Apologies to the Journeymen of 70's semi-glam rock, Journey for this,...

    Just a third-round pick
    Drafted in the 59th spot
    Played on eight different teams
    Not winning anywhere
    He played for twenty years
He scored a hundred eighty-one points
    He became the Habs GM
    Not takin’ them anywhere

    A pro-scout in a hotel room
Old Bergy pal still high on shrooms
Their love of pluggers and fourth-line signings
Goes on and on and on and on

    Checkers skating
Up and down the waiver wire
    Cement hands, pylons
    Are all right
    Try them at Centre
No skills required, just find emotion
    Play the “right way”
    That’s ENOUGH!!!!

    Workin’ hard to dampen skill
    Dumb-ass FHFans want some thrills
Payin’ anyone to hit the ice
So we can score just once each game
    Some skate in
    Some stay benCHed
Some are here to enhance the stench
    Oh, the journeymen signings
Just go on and on and on and on

    Steve Ott, Martinsen,
Up and down a fourth-line wing
Shadowing, chipping pucks out every night
    Hemsky, Murray
Parros, Dwight King, Streit, and Semin
    John Scott, Davidson
    COULD WIN A CUUUUUUUUUUUUP!!!!

When it comes to dumpster diving, marc bergevin has no peer.

@Steve, thanks for the new Bullitt heads up. I'll have to check that out. When I start getting the old age security in a mere two years maybe I can get me one of those. I can still drive that bitCH too...

    ReplyDelete
  14. it will probably cost one maybe two CHecks at worst:) Right now is the best and getting better time to own classics. They are not making any more of the people who want them. Kids and cars are like, kids and books, how am I supposed to turn it on?

Speaking of well tuned machines. You need a full time mechanic to keep Kodi running in full gear these days. My "friend" just installed a new/old addon called Pyramid. Wow its old time Kodi, lots of b movies and no frigging with bad links, or openload etc. My friend is running it on his PC Kodi 17.1, he will try latter to install it on the android boxy good old 15.1.

  17. the french conection is killing us. Barzal 16th overall, we took Jewel at 26th and the Iles got Jackie Kennedy at 28 in 2015 draft. TFS looks like The Fucking Shits tonite.

Somebody playing hockey tonight? I actually forgot, that's how much I'm paying attention these days.

@Steve, my friend uses Terrarium TV.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. My friend has bookmarked it. One of the advantages of Kodi is the Man seems to have trouble tracking its use. Showbox puts a target on your back, I dont know if Terrarium is invisible.
However it looks like an excellent option.

  30. Oh and surprise Milos on the verge of being ousted in round 1...and he is done.

    ReplyDelete
  31. So a goal called back for an "offside" that happened 53 seconds earljer...53 seconds - that's an entire shift...and then possibly the worst call in the history of the NHL on LB ...and the Habs lose 5-4 in OT...whaddyagonnado!

    ReplyDelete

    1. I saw the lame-ass piss-poor offside challenge that disgustingly negated Chien's excellent goal (great pressure by Leko and others on that too). But I missed the other call in question that seems to have also been against LB. Anyone know if there is video out there of it?

    2. I saw a gif on twitter earlier. Let me try finding it again

Jordan Eberle falls down on his own, and somehow Paul Byron gets a two minute penalty for it. Phttps://t.co/Y5OeCcjsNG

    4. Couldn't find a video (refs probably erased all traces from the web or I'm just bad at surfing - probably the latter) but Eberle fell and took down Lb and then Lb gets called for interference.

Paul Byron is now the #1 center. I say so what. That top 3 pick is looking sweeter all the time.

    1. The #1 center is a guy called Capspace, first name: Tenmillion

      Delete
    2. okay you are the GM. You have two glaring needs, a guy who can BBQ, and someone who can get 20 goals as center. You have one asset, a CHevy that has no mileage but the specs look great.

Why did we not go for D Bois, why why why why? Or keep CHevy? Small winger we are full up.
