  1. Looking closely at the first picture of Guy Lafleur - is he squeezing the life out of the Lady Bing or is it an optical illusion? And the Habs of 2015 sure as shit could use something like the Punch line right about now!

I made a vow at the beginning of the season to remain positive as best I could, however with the roadtrip from hell soon to be upon us I fear that I am in a very bad place, so I will remain as quiet as I can, and given the holiday demands on my time placed upon me by family and friends (I have to go to a wedding on Tuesday!) I expect that will be easier than you might think - I embark on my own 14 day "road trip" later today so I might dip in and out of the conversation through until 6 Jan, but it won't be to slam anyone. This year's edition of the Montreal Canadiens have it in them to do great things. They have been hit by injuries and are struggling to find a groove that works for them. Getting 45 shots and still being shut out is not great by anyone's standards but it does mean that they are doing some things right. The key is for them to sort the shit out that they aren't doing right and turn this ship around, score some goals and take us where they know we belong. They can do it. They have some very good players - they all need to step up and take control of their destiny. Take inspiration from the movie of the moment - The Force Awakens - ...please! And Moeman - Nice ones all round!!

Star Wars Sexy Friday and only one comment. Either everyone is bummed out from the losing or are out doing their late Christmas shopping. Cheer up FHFriends, our Habs are a like a baseball team whose bats have gone cold all at once. They'll get it back eventually.

  4. Heh, John Scott placed on waivers, does that mean he can still go the All Star game?

  5. Yep...day off so was out stimulating the economy. Traffic was insane but in & out of Costco pretty quick. Also dropped a couple bills at the butcher...now well meated for the holidays.

As for the boys I'm not worried...much. Saw kidA's fingers on RTTWC - that was some major work! Said he really wants to be back for the outdoor game. Not sure that would be wise but I don't blame him.

RJ would cost you Lego plus plus. Steve would be in mourning for weeks.
