  1. Thought I'd up the Cancon. We have a lot of beauties in this great land and I didn't even scratch the surface.

Nothing going on in hockey reality, so I'm doing a quick check to see what that bonehead Eklund is saying about the Habs...

So...Lucic. First no way in hell he waives his NMC to go to Montreal. Let's pretend it's an option. The only way i take on that contract is if Draisaitl is attached to it. Maybe Oskar Klefbom if they take Alzner back.

    So, no news.

    Continue your summer.

  2. As I fight to keep hockey alive in our minds during these sweltering days of summer, thought I'd check out the Habs site.

Main story reads Catching up with… Kenny Agostino

Who the fuck is Kenny Agostino? I don't know. Didn't read the story - guy looked to have a Bruins jersey on.

    1. I assume BBB dragged him from the bottom of the dumpster.

  3. I got to admit I am a bad Canadian because I did not know all the talent this country has produced
    NOAR especially Jessica.

We are heaving for Hughes do not ruin the narrative with anything else.

If we are not a lottery team this year I am going to be upset. It means as a fan I have been got
    once again.

Belated TGISF Y'all. BBB ignoring PatCHes for months? Too bad the entire team - and fans can't ignore His Arrogance.

I'm not one for tanking but like the Maritimer said, it will occur naturally so I'm OK with #loseforhughes in that sense.

Holy crap, Guy Lapointe and his son received death threats. I see his son often on the news but never realised they were father and son.

  11. Man, Molson must be fucking denser than I ever thought. His gm has fucked over so many valuable assets, now including Patches, that it is dumbfounding how things persist.

This organisation's rep can't be very good. Now there's a request for a class action because employees weren't being paid overtime.

  12. I will turn 60 this year and it should be satisfying, that I made it past 27. However the shit covered world we live in now will make it hard to celebrate. The latest incident in Toronto was something people my age never considered until 911, it was an American thing. Now we realy do have America disease and no cure.

Congratulations on making it to the swingin' 60's, or is that the sizzlin' 60's? Anyway, you'll notice that things have changed since you were younger, like waking up in the morning is a higher priority than sex.

It does seem the American's fascination with guns is working it's way north. I say ban everything but single shot .22's and shotguns just so we can still hunt rabbits and quail for food once trump and his cronies get done destroying the earth.

When Bronfman pisses away her family fortune there'll be nothing left for the Expos.

So, it sounds like Max will be gone eventually, something about a bad relationship with the GM. Who can blame Max, that GM let two of the more skilled players on the team (actually the two that drove most of Pacioretty's production) walk away and has since traded the last truly skilled player the team had in gCHuk. That leaves Drouin and Domi to drive the offense. Now, Molson says maybe the young Finn they just drafted will make the team. No wonder this team is in such trouble.

  16. Been outta the loop boys and girls...whaddI miss? Oh look - bbbfucking over Patches again...nice! I really can't get my head around what bbb has done to the habs - but he has just let any player who was any good go...I read a great quote the other day on Twitter that perfectly summed up Marc Bergevin...

"The cognitive bias of illusory superiority comes from the inability of low-ability people to recognize their lack of ability: without the self-awareness of metacognition, low-ability people cannot objectively evaluate their actual competence or incompetence"

Loosely translated..." You were shit as a player and you're too fucking stupid to even realize how fucking useless you have become as a GM" ...

Meanwhile - The Great UK Heatwave of 2018 continues unabated - entering Week 8! Gonna hit 37C today kids!! Have an amazing weekend!!

Stay cool K3X. You summed up bergevin perfectly. Hopefully we only have to endure his incompetence for one more season when the Habs finish 30th.

I just noticed the girl in the first picture is drinking a Moosehead ... *slaps forehead*

  17. Well start of vacation. Spending a week at a cottage just north of Shediac in Grande Digue on the Northumberland Strait. Round of golf lined up for Sunday. Beach, beer and blender drinks are the only other plans.

Enjoy your week. Stay hydrated. Forget about BBB for a week.
